  1. READ.[/b] Understand? Yes? He's helping the aussies now. Australia's chances at the moment are as good as ever.
  2. DS is too big. Can't even fit in your pocket jeans. I've never owned a GBA, so this is good for me as a consumer, gives me more options. :P I was very "meh" with it until very recently I found out I would find such a small portable device very useful for short gaming sessions when I'm outside.
  3. It's not Gameboy advance micro, it's Gameboy micro. Yeah. It's hawt and small. I'm getting it as soon as it's available in Europe (4th of November). :D The screen is superbright, changable faceplates, made of metal and it's nice and small. Too bad that it's a bit expensive ($99). Does not play original Gameboy games or Gameboy color games, only GBA. I'm getting this one, silver with the black faceplate:
  4. Of course, Australia will win. Guus Hiddink is helping you now. ;)
  5. I'm waiting for SED displays to be available. It's this new technology that costs the same as LCD displays, but has way better image quality, excellent viewing angle, response time less than 1 milisecond (LCD response time is 15ms or something at best) better contrast ratio (black is really black) and it consumes about 1/3 less electricity. :)
  6. iPods are just nice because of the design. And of course they get the job done (playing music). iPod Shuffle is an absolute POS, however.
  7. Well, I said it looked like a boomerang because he said why people have a problem with the PS3 controller's shape (and make fun of it). I said it's because it looks like a boomerang. And you can make fun of it, because, as far as I am aware of, it's unintentionally shaped as a boomerang. Obviously, like I stated before, it can feel comfortable and stuff if you try it. On a side note, the Revolution controller is shaped as a remote control, but I don't see how anyone can make fun of this, because it's intentionally shaped as a remote, it's a crucial part of the design. Now, I would wonder how it would be like if the boomerang shape would actually be a crucial part of the design...  Got a problem with Zelda, buddy?
  8. A back-up plan in case the Nano would fail? The Nano would not fail, Apple assumed it wouldn't. And I can't blame them, it's incredibly sexy. No iPod can really fail anyway. Also, it's not called the iPod Video, it's called iPod. I think the ability of being able to download over 2,000 music videos on iTunes 6 for $1.99 each or TV shows $1.99 per episode will expand the market and make playing video on portable devices more mainstream. You can also download and play Pixar shortfilms, $1.99 each (I think). What Apple understand is that no one wants to watch complete movies on the go, or at least, not that many people. Watching short video stuff is definately something people would like. Also, Apple unveiled the new iMac. It's got a built-in iSight (high-quality webcam). It's great! When you buy an iMac and first start it up the computer will ask to take a picture of you so it can be used in the future and stuff. Apple also demonstrated an app called Photobooth, it was hilarious, you need to check it out.
  9. Well... it does look like a boomerang.
  10. PlayStation controllers aren't very comfortable, but this new controller might be more comfortable even though it looks odd. The most comfortable controller is the Gamecube. It's an absolute perfect fit for my hands, I can fully grasp it. :)
  11. I have no idea why you think that, Sony sold over 80 million PS2s versus 22 million Xboxs and 18 million Gamecubes... This thread causes -99 INT.
  12. I don't see how it's unwieldy, all the people that tried it said it was comfortable to hold.
  13. ] Check out the black one. HAWT! The blue lights go incredibly well with shiny black. The controller looks great. The materials look very nice. Very iPod. It's also very small. GO GO GO!!
  14. You know, if you actually bothered to look into the Revolution's remote, you'd know that Nintendo is planning a shell for the remote so the remote transforms into a traditional looking controller. This is primarily intended for playing SNES, N64 (and maybe Gamecube) games. As well as games that are multiplatform that really need a traditional layout controller. So, with that in mind... Revolution's controller > All.
  15. Acting. It's just damn important. Most movies have good acting, I mean good enough acting, so I guess I don't really look for it, but I like a good performance. If I see someone doing some bad acting, I don't like it because then the idea of me being able to do a better job will constantly pop in my head. And that's incredibly annoying when you watch/enjoy a damn movie! DAMN YOU BAD ACTORS... DAMN YOOOOUUUU
  16. You don't need to wave your arms, simple wrist movements and you're controlling the game.
  17. It still is a gimmick because develpers just slap together a pile of crap and call it a game without even putting the touch screen to good use. The same thing will happen with the Revolution. They are both great ideas but aren't (and probably won't) be realized to their full potential. All that I'm saying is to not get your hopes up. The DS is different because you can really use it to enhance the current games. With the Rev's remote, you can. It's that simple. Also, nice signature. You'll know how wrong you were in a few years.
  18. That's not a real pic, that's just an example made by the guys at IGN. Well... uuhh.. it's not just that. It makes everything easy as well. For people who don't play games, this will re-ignite their interest in videogamse. A gamer's parents can easily try and play a game suitable for them, like a fishing game in that video. All you do is grab that remote and move it around. :)
  19. Nintendo is aiming for everyone here. Everyone. People who look at a regular gamepad will dismiss it saying "Oh, I don't play videogames". But when they checkout this controller, they will think it's a remote or something and grab it and examine it a little closer.
  20. Man. I wish someone would've captured the look on my face when I first saw the thing. I was so disappointed. It was priceless. Certain replies on certain forums are hilarious. First, everyone thinks it's horrible, then, everyone gets positive.
  21. WOOT!!!!!!!!!    NINTENDO IS PURE, PURE GENIOUS!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW EXCITED I AM!!! My intial respone was very, very bad. I was like whaaaat :( and I seriously thought Nintendo was doomed or something. But now I let it sink in, boy, oh boy. Nintendo is incredible. Developers have said some nice things about it as well. Hideo Kojima (creator of Metal Gear Solid) said this: :D
  22. You're english, ain't ya? What's the english for: "You're an idiot"?
  23. Stop it. Damn kids... Back ontopic... IWATA'S SPEECH IN 1 DAY AND 10 HOURS ZOMFGWTFBBQ!!!!!!!111111
  24. This is the main reason why I'm getting a Gamecube. I want a Gamecube either way, but not really badly, you know? Please, please, please, please, please, please, please surpass Ocarina of Time... Eiji Aonuma said he's working on the game so that he wants it to surpass Ocarina of Time... I swear... if he, Miyamoto and the rest of team pull it off... My love for Nintendo +1000.
  25. I hope some day they can take a picture like that of my city, Leiden. The city in the picture is Delft, which isn't too far away from here.
