Hey,, I'm soon gonna buy another PC and am not really a tech wizz therefore i need help deciding. I;m getting a Dell Inspiron 546 and am having trouble deciding what is more important the processor, or the amount of RAM I won't be using my PC for any hardcore gaming from pc games apart from RS so was wondering which combination i should get. I was tihnking about maybe a 4gb dual channel (2x 2048) for the RAM and a AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core 7550 (2.5GHz, 512kx2). Would that be any good :S i mean i'd be happy if i dont lag at like TDS or GWD with a comp like that. Any suggestions would be great :) EDIT: I have found another computer its the same price, i believe it has better specifications than the one above. There also the option to get 96 herblore for the potions, what do you guys think would be mroe worth it bearing in mind i don't do PvP, the extreme potions or soul split and turmoil, and once again could someone clarify the effect of turmoil to me please.

I didn't want to make another thread so i decided to re edit this one. I've now decided i will get 95 prayer and 90 herb as it doesn't cost nearly as much as i thought it would. Prayer i'm fine i'll simply buy the bones and marrentil and i'm sorted, what i would like to know more about is herblore. Currently i am 67 herb and am looking to get 90 for extremes, if someone could advise me on a step by step process it would help greatly. I am willing to spend around 100m on this level so i am looking for a good xp/h rate, if you could include the method i.e whether to buy unf potions or not it would also help greatly. Sorry if this sorta topic's been posted before, ive taken a long break so i don't really know whats going on :thumbup: EDIT: Also, herb prices aren't likely to increase dramatically by summer are they? As i would like to keep some money to solo merchant.

@010jonathan i'm not asking for a merch item tbh, merchanting is usually dealt with daily or upto weekly, i'm asking for a LONG term investment item ;) and from the comments in this topic i've gained a lot of help and intend to hopefully come back to RS with excess of 400m :grin:

Interesting input ayisha, i just relised had i invested in easter eggs before i quit, by now i would have had over MAX cash :blink: , i see that merchanting clans are still eager as ever, was hopeing they'd be gone by now as it really affects my solo merchanting :(

Well before i quit i was going for 99 farming and smithing, seeing as i will contiinue those goals when i come back i might aswell invest in a load of adamantite bars i guess... however if there is a new metal bar introduced, i doubt it will require levels higher than adamantite so... :S not too sure whether to put 100m on addy bars lol.

Heyyy, I quit a while ago and it's almost summer, thinking about coming back. Right now i'm F2P with 300 odd mill in the bank and am lookng in an item i can invest in which i can sell by summers beggining to come back to RS with maybe 100m profit made. It sounds like alot but summer is 4 months away so i would only need a 30% increase in my cash over 4 months, however there is the problem that i am F2P. Right now i was thinking about F2P god armour as they have around 30% increase over the last 180 days so they look good. Any other suggestions would be cool :)

Any input on F2P merching?

Heyy. Pretty soon i am going to quit playing and become F2P. When i liquify i will keep my 3rd age range to wear as a quitting outfit and i could if iwanted to wear a blue phat aswell. I merched in P2P and easily made 4-6m a day with just 110m merching money, i've never tried F2P merching but i wasted to seek advice from anyone that did. If i merched in F2P i'd have around 350m cash to work with, with this could i make even 1m a day in F2P? Is F2P merching essentialy same as P2P. Thanks.

So today i had a pretty good day, started off with 87 Atk, then 89 summ, did a clue from slayer, got zammy chaps and zammy platelegs. So after that i got bored went and killed some mages. New tiff record? That's right 3 boots in 32 kills and yh.. I PIED. Got the 3 boots all in 12 kills :) EDIT: LMFAOOOOO 4th pair 65 KC uploading pic

It's simple really, you ask for clay, for example you ask for C4 clay fro ma C4 rock, someone gives you the clay, you make the C4 pickaxe then return a piece of clay to the person who gave you it. Makes games much more quicker as more people are mining clay and you don't loes out on points as you get your clay returned to you.

With your stats you could try solo Tormented demons without too much trouble.

As far as i remember Con is 51k xp and smith is 64k xp per hammer.

Well i'm wondering which is the fastest yet cost effective method of getting me to 88 smithing. I would like to know a couple of things about eah method. Xp/h whilst using SC hammers for each method Gp/Xp for each method And also whether the end produt ( i.e Mith plate or addy bolt/arrow ) sell on the g.e and at what price ( mid/min? ) That's all i want to know really if you could help i'd be greatful.

If you have EE, take that also take some range pots and take a RoL or an archer's ring as RoW reduces Adamant bar drop.

Thanks for the advice smelly socks.. thing is i'm going to be 125 CMB when i get 99 summong.. which is pretty nice as it's a l cmb hence i want to barrage :) So in total it will only cost me 150m ish.. wow not bad.

Excuse me for my stupidity but i'm slightly confused how i use that lol, i typed in 23k crimsons as an estimate for the cost to 99 and i clicked cost of lost shards + 2nd ingredients with trade ins and it came up to 32m.. is that really it? WOW or am i mistaken lol.

Yh dats right i'm going for 99 summoning :thumbsup: I've figured out that barrages will cost roughly 100m to 99 summon, and i will need about 50k of them, buying 25k right now. Now i'm flusstered as to how i am going to work out the cost for the actual summoning for 99 summoning. By that i mean how much will it cost for me to buy the seconds/shards and sell/swap the pouches back. That's all i really want to know, got no idea how to work it out, enlighten me please.
