Two of the most expensive and highly sought out items on RS. I've made this thread in order to discuss and do a in depth comparison of both of these shields. Firstly a description of their special effects. Divine Spirit Shield: 30% - or as much as if possible if 30% is more than your current amount of Prayer points - of any damage you take is removed. Half of this 30% is deducted from your Prayer instead, while the other half is ignored completely. Elysian Spirit Shield: 70% chance of reducing the damage you receive by 25%. Both of these shields have great special effects. Which shield do you prefer and find more useful? Due to the fact that the Divine Spirit Shields special effect cusing a reduction in prayer points, where do you find these items more useful at, GWD, TD's where? EDIT: Also disregard the cost of these 2 items, i wanna hear about the items not the money. Post your thoughts on these shields, there special effects and their uses in different circumstances.

Got pony today, went TD's. 7th kll after getting my new pony. What do i get? GG. First pair kill 155, second kill 201.

I understand the above posts but i hear shards are rarer than claws, therefore if i used a RoW and were to get claws, i'd get a shard instead. Hence i'm confused :shock:

I doubt you kill them 3x faster than a whip :P but yh using a ZS and using Stab deals a considerable amount of damamge compared to whip, since your on task i suggest you use his setup, but i would replace the skillcape with a fire cape and the RoW with a onyx (I) ring but thats just me :P

Hey, Just a quick question, so far i have done 121 TD's solos and havn't got anything as of yet and i was wondering if i should be taking a RoW or not. Currently i use a RoL :P and i have heard many arguments about whether or not to use a RoW but i would like to find out your opinions aswell. Thanks.

You are just unlucky, i got my first on my 20th kill and my second on something like me 150th kill and they are definately IMO weak to stab, also i believe they are weaker to range than melle.

Looking good so far, i'm keen to see the progression on this guide.

One more thing has anyone tried to do TD's with someone from RSOF forums? Are they any good or arethey complete noobs? and also does it take long to find a partner on the forums? Thanks.

Just wondering which of the following options would be best for me to maximise my profits. Solo TD. Duo CS TD Duo LS TD Just a quick question and i want your opinions on what you tihnk would be best.. this includes getting bored soloing.. ability to be blessed etc.

IMO only way corp is worth it is if you have MAJOR LSP and you LS a sigil ot yourself, CS IMO sucks juts do SGW. And yes you can easily be accepted into teams and there is a balance between LS and CS teams on forums.

Hmm, ive had a look at lots of guides, and ive talked to a lot of people. The people i talk to say its easy with a UNI you don't need food at all, yet the guides state you need brews. Even Arty's guide who is maxed says you need to take 4 brews. So how helpful is it really :S

Pretty quick question I guess, how much more helpful is a unicorn compared to a titan? For instance at my stats say i was to get 16 kills a trip with titan, what would i get with a uni? Reason i am asking this is because i was thinking about getting my charms for 88 summ from TD's and Waterfiends. If i find out that a unicorn helps a TON then i will simply barrage to 88 summ and make the money back from tormented demons later. Ta.

Simple question really, which one of the 2 shall i use for slayer. Verac's skirt + Prossy plate + 10% strength prayer or Bandos plate + tassets. No prayer Which one would be better? bear in mind i have an SGS therefore i'm not bothered about the cost for p pots when using the verac's setup but i'm not gonna use 10% str prayer with bandos as it only gives +2 prayer bonus. This is the reason i don't know why people use bandos :S explain and answer please :)

Just bring a super def.. helps a ton. Or an EE as that provides Defence bonus.

Word of advice.. don't attempt soloing Kree at your stats.. it's pointless.

Pro call? GF. Now heres where it gets unbelievable.. believe me or believe me not but due to all the excitement i didn't take pictures. After my ls hilt we hop worlds and the chat leader gets an SS this was 3 kills after my ls hilt lawl Then we hop worlds again crashing some other people leeched the minions however there team got a CS hilt.. even showed me the cash. Finally we hopped again.. crashed again.. leeched first kill second kil ls turn on Blade gets a HILT GF 2 x Hilt 1 x SS in 11 kills ftw? ( Well 3x Hilt cus there team got one when we crashed ) Crazy trip lasted 130+ kils nad only ate 1 brew 1 rest and 3 ranged pots lolll Nice 56m and 12m LSP that trip :):)
