  1. +1! Mythbusters. Try getting a big mirror door + hammer = :D The beginners in my ceramics class (I'm in the advanced class) have been making mosaics. Some have mirrors in them. For several days the classroom was filled with the sound of shattering glass. Bah, stupid rain! How am I supposed to destroy stuff when there's no sun? I should build a trebuchet.
  2. Pete, that site is where I got my inspiration.
  3. I'm planning to do that as soon as the sun comes out. It's raining cats and dogs here. Also, please stop quoting the entire thread in one post. It's really annoying, especially when there are images in there.
  4. Metal and glass won't get hot enough to do anything interesting. I'm limited to paper, plastic, and food.
  5. YES I KNOW THE MYTHBUSTERS DID THIS! NO I DID NOT GET MY IDEA FROM THEM! Proof that Nano has way too much time on his hands: The Solar Death Ray is an array of 81 3-inch square mirrors that are aligned to focus the sun onto a single spot. Anything in the focal point gets extremely hot and either melts or burns. It took a little less than a month for me to build it (although i could only work on it on weekends.) Some examples of Death Ray subjects: For those of you who are confused, here's a diagram showing exactly how the Death Ray works: Solar Death Ray videos on YouTube: Episode 1: Piece of Cardboard Episode 2: Marshmallow Peeps Episode 3: PlayStation controller Episode 4: Tootsie Pop Episode 5: Roll of Film Discuss the Awesomeness of solar power!
  6. Yeah, but Jad is MADE OF fire!
  7. That happened to me before, except I had it at a different angle, on high detail, and with me just standing there on the water for several seconds. It was awesome, I felt like Jesus. :P
  8. Well, you wanted me to post here, so here i am!

Keep in mind that the Dharma logo was put on the shark as a joke by the special effects team.

There was a ripped-up Dharma shirt in the bear's cave. My theory is that the bears escaped, killing the Dharma scientists. Then the Others took over The Hydra.

Episode 3: "Further Instructions" shocked me by being centered around Locke and still managing to be good. -Did Locke shoot Eddie or didn't he? The flashback ended just before anything happened. -So Locke was a drug grower/smuggler/dealer, eh? Perhaps he stopped Charlie from using heroin as a way to make up for what he did in the past. -Eddy's Geronimo Jackson shirt was great. (Remember their record on the shelf in The Swan?) This confirms that Locke's flashbacks took place sometime in the early 1980's; that's when The Swan's orientation film is copyrighted. -Desmond is able to see the future? -Polar bears are back, excellent. Next week: Sawyer gets tortured. (Again!)
  12. Yeah, I did that, except I gave my guy a moustache. :P I later shaved it off.
  13. Ah, the game that brought me into the world of online gaming... until I realised how much it sucked. However, I'm still a member of an SWGB forum, but I only post in the Off Topic section. If you want to visit the forum, it's here: http://swgb.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/Ultimate.cgi

Episode 2: The Glass Ballerina was awesome. Theories, facts, and spoilers galore: -Alex and Carl = possibly the Lost version of Luke and Leia? -Jae (Sun's boyfriend) obviously isn't the father of her child. If he was Sun would be 3 months pregnant by now and quite a bit fatter. -Sawyer and Kate are planning a revolt, but Ben knows... -PMG THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!?!?!?!?!? -The woman that Sun shoots: "We're not the enemy." Interesting. This ties in with Ben's "We're the good guys." -Sun is hot. Next week: "Dude, the hatch blew your underwear off."
  15. That barbarian assult walpaper is just creepy...
  16. Wow, maybe a whole new city! Maybe they could call it "Ardougne?" Or maybe a quest, where you go looking for Treasure in the Desert? And a new monster that lives inside a volcano and is level 702!!!

Woah, the season opener was awesome. I liked Sawyer in his little zoo. [q=Mr Friendly]It only took the bears two hours.[to get the crackers][/q] Who is Carl: a Tailie, or one of the others who's in on the experiment? Juliet mentioned that the underwater station (The Hydra) had sharks and dolphins in it. Is this where the DHARMA shark from "Adrift" came from? The Others seem to be very into performing psycological experiments on their prisoners. The "book club" scene at the beginning completely blew me away. So the others lived in a little town on the island, just waiting for people to crash? "Henry Gale's" real name is Ben? Wtf? (god that guy creeps me out) ~~~ Also, It looks like we'll have to wait a little longer to find out what happened to The Swan. The promo for next week's episode showed no sign of Charlie, Locke, Desmond, or Eko. By the way, there are spoilers in this post.

The third season of LOST is finally here. Tonight on ABC, mysteries will begin to be resolved, and many new ones will spring up along the way. Some stuff I'm wondering about: -What is up with the polar bears? -Who were those guys in the Antarcic research station? -Will Scott and Steve finally get speaking roles? -What exactly is "the monster"/"the security system"? -Why was Libby at the nuthouse with Hurley? -Did the hatch blow up? -Will MIchael and Walt finally escape on the Others' boat? Discuss this most excellent TV show.
  19. Those wizards always pop up on lvl 3 clues. Learn to expect them.
  20. O rly???? The only thing that matches my love of frogs, is spoons. But you have to realise the truth: There is no spoon.
  21. I often read another site or play Solitare while woodcutting or fishing.
  22. This is THE worst update to happen in my time here! All the interfaces now look ugly and cartoonish. We don't need little dancing jesters to click on to use the emotes, they were fine before! Don't fix it if it ain't broke, Jagex! obligatory angry emoticons:
