^Who would eat nothing but Mickey D's for a whole month? No, wait, let me push the envelope: Who would force themselves to eat supersize meals of McDonald's food for an entire month? Who? Who, seriously? Is anyone that stupid? Anyway... I noticed some animosity towards the young person who ordered their mighty kids meals earlier in the topic, and all I've gotta say is HELLZ YEAH. I'm 19 and I STILL get myself a dang Mighty Kids Meals - 6 pc McNuggets. Stick it to the man.

I think it would be the six-months+ of no sunshine when that inevitable giant meteor hits the earth at tremendous speeds and sends up huge clouds of dust that block all sunlight. Not to mention the shockwaves produced by the impact. Worst. Day. Evar.

Good luck quitting. A year ago I was taking double classes at college for one semester, and I decided RS just needed to stop interfering with it, what with all the all-nighters I kept pulling because of my procrastination playing RS. So I quit, leaving behind friends, fun, and noob-talk. Giving all my stuff to the clan in a final farewell, I logged off for the 'last' time. Then... One year later (or 1 week ago, however you put it), that cru, cold, heartless SOB known as RS called to me. I decided to check in, just for a 'peek'. I was compelled to log on and see how everything'd changed... Then there were some giants nearby and piles of bonessssss!!! I don't know HOW I'm gonna quit again. Anyway, Good luck quitting. -
I agree. I had quit RS for a year or so, and when I came back, stuff was gone. Big surprise, hehe. Anyway, what I got was a bronze pick and I went to mine iron! Level 48 and I can't mine iron with a bronze! I know, i know, it's a bronze....but Jagex should make it so that there's an equal cance or something! I dunno, implement a new system...

Thurgo: An imcando dwarve with a knack for temper-tantrums, he was first introduced into Runescape when all other imcando dwarves were becoming extinct, and now he is a simple Runescape addict, playing 24/7. You can always surely find him at his home, southwest of port Sarim, since I guess he has nothing to do besides steal redberry pies from people and work on his smithing with the blurite ore they give him. Poor porr Thurgo, may you die of heartattack/stroke/pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Like some of the monsters here, Thurgo is ALSO disguised, he is no TRUE imcando dwarve, but an impostor. His clever plan to destroy the Runescape world involves a goose, a tophat, a whisk, money, and a flaming bag of poop. BEWARE THURGO! -
"Come on! Hurry, Hurry! It's getting late!" 'Dangit, shut up, I'm hurrying!' I thought in my head as I said, "can I access my bank account, please?" I told the banker in his gray uniform, not unlike the ones the other bankers wore. "Okey dokey, I'll need this, and this, and some of these, and a LOT of these," I said to myself, picking out my Adamantite plate and legs, a couple of strength potions, and numerous lobsters, "Oh, and I'll definitely need this!" The locket dangled from a thin mithril/gold alloy chain, which captured the sun's light and warmth and magnified it tenfold. It always lay in my bank account, because too precious was it to me that I couldn't let it be lost, but I felt I needed it for the wilderness. The wilderness was evil, or so the rumors went, and my mother's lucky charm would help me, if only in my mind. In truth, all it was was the thin chain and a circle or ring of gold with nothing in the middle. Maybe not the prettiest thing out there, but it reminded me of my mother. "Hurry UP, Max!" my friends called out to me, "can't we go BEFORE winter sets in?" "I'm coming! I'm coming!" I said, struggling to get into the armor, "Valerie, got your runes?" "DO I EVER!" Valerie exclaimed, and she opened up her deep blue mage robes and revealed thousands upon thousands of stones with symbols etched on them. "Hehe, I've been spending a LOT of time with dark mages" One of the runes caught my glance, it was smaller than the others and upon it was a simple, miniscule drawing of a dragon. "Val, what kind of rune is that?" I queried. "What? Which one?" She asked, shaking her head, "Oh, this? Oh, that's just an umm, like umm, a umm...you know, good luck charm thingy...hehe." Her cheecks flushed red to the roots of her long silky brown hair. "Haha! Val's so scared!" said one of our groupmates, his black hair neatly on his head, as his whole body in dragonhide armor shook even beneath all the weight. "Hahahaha!" "Shut up, Manuel!" said our fourth (and last) group member, who donned monk robes beneath the dark black priest gowns. A runite mace in his right hand, and an anti-dragon breath shield in the other, his long beard and mustache seeming out of place on his face, since his head was bald and shiny. "Ugh, whatever, I was just having a good laugh, BETTY..." "The name's Teddy! And if you can't put up with it you can kiss my a-" "ALRIGHT! JUST SHUT UP AND WE CAN GO ON WITH THIS! JESUS!!!" I bellowed, and instantly they stopped. Valerie looked at me with an expression of shock and bewilderment, making me blush deeply. I didn't want to look immature in front of her, but, I argued with myself, it had to be done. I was sure it confirmed what she already thought of me, that I was a stupid jerk. "Let's just go, ok?" I said offhandedly...maybe a bit too casually... And off we trekked, north of Falador, through the pathways south of the Dwarven mines, and a dwarve rushed over to me, "How's it going, Max?" he said, his beard wobbling and his pickaxe hand shaking crazily. "Umm, hiya, Dezzick. Hey, do you know if Nurmof has fixed my pickaxe yet?" "Oh, not yet, the damage is a bit severe, but don't worry, hohoho, Nurmof can fix anything, matey! He says come back tomorrow and it'll be fixed! But why were you mining the leaking rock?" "Umm, I wasn't paying attention, hehe. I took quite a beating myself." "Yeah, well, see ya, matey!" "Bye!" And off we went, the dwarve still chuckling in the distance. And those memories came back to me. I really WASN'T paying attention to the rock, but to Valerie. I saw her as she saw me, and our eyes were locked in gaze when BOOOM! I shook my head, putting my mind back to our present task. "Wait, I need to have a word with the head barbarian," said Manuel. "You mean the one who says to leave his town alone all the time?" I asked. "Yeah, that's the one. Go ahead towards Edgeville and I'll catch up to you. Wait for me in the bank" "Ooookay!" said Valerie, "Last one there is a rotten chompy-bird egg!" And we ran gleefully, our lives just a wink in some greater dietie's eyes. How wonderful it was to live the life of a carefree child! So innocent, so free. Little did we know, today would be the last day in a long time that we would be carefree. "Teleport!" said Valerie, as she held up a law rune and five airs. As they shone with a brief flash of light there was a sound: BUWAHAGH! And suddenly she dissapeared, but only as quickly as she did appear at the brinks of edgeville. "I win! WOOO!" "Hey! No fair!" "Hahahaha!" we all laughed... = * * * = "Oh, yes, ok," said Manuel. "You welcome help us, but no bring intruders!" said the chief barbarian. "No, no, no, no, no, no! Of course not! Don't worry, soon enough, your village will be wonderfully built!" And off ran Manuel to Edgeville. = * * * = "What IS taking him so long!" said Valerie, her voice deep with concern. "Don't worry, Val, he'll be here soon." "I'm not worried about HIM! It's just that it's getting dark and all...and you know..." "I'll go check for him, Ok? I'll be back. Teddy, stay with her, m'k?" "Sure." "I'll be back, Val" = * * * = "Grrr...." -FWOOP- "Piouw!" uttered the little imp, with one more arrow, he would be dead. "One...more..." said Manuel. "Hey! Manuel! Man, we've been worried!" -FWOOP- The arrow flew gracefully through the sky, but it went too far up to even land anywhere nere the proximity of the imp, who saw its chance, and disappeared with a puff of smoke. It reappeared a while later off in the distance, and Manuel set off for it. "Come on, Manuel! Come on, we have to get going!" I said. "No! That imp has a diamond! Do you know how much money that can fetch?" "LET'S GO!" I said, pulling him by the ear. "I SAID, LET'S GO!" = * * * = "We're baaaaaack!" I said. "Oh, Max!" "Finally, we can go!" And so we set off, and to the wilderness we went, a group of kids, no more innocent than a flock. A flock... of lambs.

"SHUT UP, B**CH!!!" "Mommy?!" "Honey, don't worry it'll all be ok!" *SLAP-SLAP-SLAP-SLAP-SLAP* "MOMMY!!!" "Baby!" "I SAID SHUT UP!!!!" "MOMMY!!!" *SLASH!* "NOW I'M COMING FOR YOU, YOU LITTLE BRAT!" "MOMMY! NO! MOMMY!!!" *THUD* ...and all went dark He awoke, seeing the beautiful sky, and puffy, fluffy, bunny tail clouds, dotting the sky, sometimes covering the golden sun... 'It's a perect day!' he thought, 'A perfect guaran-d**n-teed day!' "Bye, baby, I'll always love you..." he heard. And the he remembered... The horrible screaming, his mom crying with pain, and the horrible burn he felt when...when what? "Baby, remember me always..." And suddenly, he knew where he was; his head on his mother's breast, lying along her lap, and then he felt it. He felt a horrible cold chill. He felt the very life leaving his mother, and he wanted to do something about it... yet he couldn't. "Mommy, no!" He knew, it was too late... He kissed her on her pale cheek, and he felt life returning to her. Not alot, but he could feel more warmth, a pulse, small, weak, and irregular, but a pulse nonetheless. She opened her eyes, and looked at him with luminous, solemn longing...she smiled...and died. All he could feel was a big hole inside of him, a gigantic gorge or chasm of some kind, with nothing inside but emptiness. The essence of emptiness was inside, making it have even less than it had so. And there he cried for days, his mind wishing to be with his mother, his mind knowing it couldn't be so. One day, he awoke again - BUMP! Something hit his head! He got up and saw a bronze dagger...he got it and SLASH! he hit something and then he felt an explosion! "Man, that was my last ball you jerk!" said a young girl, redheaded ponytails at her head, and two long curly bangs giving her a very mature and womanly look. "What?" "Ohmigod! X! It's you!" She embraced him heartily with all her might, as if trying to become one with him, and though he had no idea who this was, for the first time, he felt the gap inside of him closing...he felt loved is all he felt, really. "Where have you been, X?" "I don't know" What have you been doing?" "I don't know" "Do you know who I am, X?" "I...don't know" And to this, her face recoiled, not in anger, but in sadness. Indeed she was melancholy, because X was "...my best friend!" "I'm sorry, I don't know!!! I just don't know!!!" And then there was an awkward pause between them. "I loved you, X!" said a woman's voice, deep and passionate, sadistic and seductive. X looked up, "What?" And the girl was no longer in front of him... instead there was a beautiful woman, with redheaded ponytails on her head, and two long curly bangs giving her a very naive and childish look... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Sleep. Those little slices of Death. How I loathe them..." "Begone demon!" "YOU BEGONE! SENVENTIOR DESTINETH MALIGNO!" "No! Evil demon, you're sending me-" "To hell...no one messes with me and gets away with it!" "NOOOOOOOO!" Said the man in the black robes as a portal opened in front of him. Indeed it looked like a rip in the fabric of the place, in the fabric of time and space itself, and inside was an angry fire, fire which was hotter than hell itself, which was impossible, because the fire was from hell. He felt as if he was being sucked in...and before he was pulled into the portal, he was already being burned alive. "Indeed, no one messes with Maggis and gets away with it!" said the demon, who was big, red, and pretty danged ugly. His eyes beamed of intense hatred while his body, even his majestic wings, glowed red like a fire of blood. And then it all melted away, the whole demon seemed to melt, and inside was simply a little boy. "And I mean no one! NO ONE MESSES WITH ME!" Said the young boy, but his voice was deep, raspy, and malignant, just like that of the demon he had come from. He was only a small child, not much older than nine summers. Pale skin, and dark black hair. They contrasted so much, that they seemed just out of place so close to each other, as if it had to be impossible, but the eyes, those deep anger-ridden eyes remained from the demon, those eyes balanced it out... "I loved you, X!" he heard. A woman's rich voice. "What?" said another voice. A child's carefree sound. "Who-who are you?" said the boy, his red eyes of fire softening. He remembered them, but he didn't know from where. And suddenly, there was a bright flash of light! And they found themselves in a white, white room. It was as white as the skin of a corpse, as if Death itself had kissed it. Soft white feathers were falling from...Well, there was no sky, or no ceiling, it seemed they were falling from nowhere. "WHAT THE FU-" said the pale boy And a voice resounded through the walls, even though there weren't any walls or barriers of any kind, as if they could just step off beyond the whiteness into oblivion. A deep, gravely, bass voice, that echoed through both their minds, and their surroundings. "You three have been chosen, to destory the imbalance that will prevail in the world of Gielenor. You three have experienced changes in the fabric of timespace; you have traveled through time as well as space in instants, and apparently, to the same area. The unknown laws of nature that did this made it happen for a reason. I know that reason. Destroy the cause of the imbalance. Destroy it, and balance it out!" "Who are you?" the three cried out in unison. And there was no reply, it felt as if the voice, that fourth presence had left them. And then they heard the wind. The horrible whirlwind that was coming straight to them. No, straight for them. As it engulfed them, they could see naught one fingerlength in front of thier faces, much less each other. All they felt was the powerful force of the whirlwind as it lifted them up and carried them away. "GUTHIX!!!"said the voice, distorted by the powerful winds. Another flash of light. "I AM GUTHIX!!! And then, X thought,'We've been visited by the god Guthix!' And his mind went blank. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They found themselves in the middle of a vast plain area, covered in sand...the unbearable sun beat their shoulders and backs with unrelenting cruelty. "We're in the Al Kharid Desert!" said the girl, who had been a woman not too long ago. "How are we going to get out?" said the pale boy, who had been a demon a while back. "Well, we'll just find a way," said the other boy, X, who had been 6 years old just over an hour and a half ago and was now 14. "Well, I think," said, X, "that what we need to do, is introduce ourselves. I'm...or I think my name is X. I don't remember anything that happened before I lay in my mother's arms as she died. And then...you..." he pointed to the girl. "Kalie," she said, "my name is Kalie, and you, X, had been lost for 5 weeks. I saw you at the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. And then you disappeared. Instantly. I met you at the Blue Moon Inn once again, 12 years after you turned into thin air right in front of my face. I thought you had left me, by your own will....I loved you..." Another awkward silence. "Well," said the pale boy, "I'm...Maggis, and I was a greater demon before. I met you two, and recognized you instantly, but I don't know from where...it must've been deja vu..." "No, it wasn't," said X, "We all know each other from the future, from now...We are going to do something, and then something else is going to happen that will send us back in time, to where we just were and we won't remember this happened. It will happen over and over again..." "Unless we stop it!" said Maggis. And then, the blue sky suddenly turned black, the whole of the world went dark in the shadows of the night. And there, they saw three gems high in the sky. A ruby, an emerald, and a sapphire, shining light to the heavens. In the center was a diamond, a crystallic diamond that was brighter than twenty suns, yet its light seemed not to reach the world. The gems represented the gods: the blood-red ruby was that of Zamorak, the green emerald was the representation of Guthix, and the deep blue sapphire was Saradomin's. "But, what is the big diamond in the middle? Who's is it?" asked X. "Oh my god!" exclaimed Kalie, "It's the Great Battle of....of..." "The Gods..." said Maggis, finishing up her sentence. "Yes," said Kalie, "The scripture went: And so, three gems doth entered the night sky, with a luminescent diamond in thine center. In each was a god, Zammorac, Sardomin, and Gothix. An angel of death will cross the sky, that will head for three figures in the dark, while another angel shall fight that one. Time shall be erased, changed, and recorded. The battle of the gods has begun." "We're here to change history! Not the future! We know each other from the past when we were transported here! But what happened is that we never fought each other..." said X. "What?!" "We're here representing the gods! Maggis, you follow Zamorak, Kalie is Saradominist, and I follow Guthixism... They're not too obvious, our little preconceptions of our favored gods, but what we're supposed to do is fight each other, and we never have..." "No wait," said Maggis, "All this we're saying, hasn't it already happened? Haven't we already said it? We can't change the past! Like you said, we'll live these moments of our lives over and over again and never know!" And X went stiff... His eyes illuminated with a creepy glow, he was in a trance. In fact, he was possessed by Guthix, and his mouth sputtered out strange words: "Da so Seraph sin Mortus leth thine plume en zi blorn, Nox Net aspir et so car si so malig da Net slorn, Nox so mire si so inundumers corte Mortley nox frio, Nox thiner misericord not unther pleved nox parsempre lien snio" " I know that language," said Maggis, "It is the ancient words of Guthix Script!" "What did he say?" asked Kalie. "Oh, god, he's summoned a monster! The Angel of Death!" "The angle of death summon? The one in the scriptures. He's coming for us! We're the three figures in the dark!" "No, remember," said Maggis, "Another angel will come and fight that one!" "Summon your own, Maggis! You summon it! Simply say the words X said! Hurry, I see him! Don't you!? He's coming from the sky!" And indeed, there was a great angel, his face scarred, his wings black and majestic, and a scythe of death at his side. "We're dead," said Kalie, "dead, dead, dead..." "Not if I can help it! Get back Kalie!" And Maggis grew into the trance that X was in, a soft fire around him, and his eyes a cold blue-white. "As the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast, And he breath'd in the face of the foe as he pass'd, and the eyes of the sleepers wax'd deadly and chill, And their hearts but once heav'd and forever grew still!" And behind him, a great blast was heard... ZOOM! A black ray came at lightspeed and hit the other angel dead on. "You saved us, Maggis!" said Kalie, "You saved us!" And indeed, the two angels were battling before their eyes... One hit the other as the other hit him. They were evenly matched to the narrow. Either they would both die, or they would both live. The gems started descending from the sky, and there, inside of each, they could see the Gods, Saradomin, frail and old, his visage an elder. Zamorak, a horrible monster, his greed far surpassing the others. The gems broke into showers of light and then and there, the two started fighting. It was like nothing anyone had ever seen! But Guthix, Guthix remained in his gem, asleep, yet awake, watching them, yet not so, participating in the battle and keeping away, egging the two gods on, and telling them to stop... It was impossible, but it was happening. Suddenly, there was a third flash of light... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "SHUT UP, B**CH!!!" "Mommy?!" "Honey, don't worry it'll all be ok!" *SLAP-SLAP-SLAP-SLAP-SLAP* "MOMMY!!!" "Baby!" "I SAID SHUT UP!!!!" "MOMMY!!!" *SLASH!* "NOW I'M COMING FOR YOU, YOU LITTLE BRAT!" "MOMMY! NO! MOMMY!!!" *THUD* ...and all went dark
