  1. Thanks, I noticed that too.. but I forgot to blur/smudge it.
  2. Aha.. it does look like a giant sand pile. I actually never considered it being that. Thanks alot, looks like I'll have to remove it. And I tried adding trees.. it just doesn't work out good. I messed around with it for about a hour and couldn't get a tree to look natural on the mountain.. much less alot of them.
  3. They are faded because of the heavy clouds. Tried to make it real.. =S And I hate the texture. And the size of the mountains. But I'm working on it. If I can't make some good texures I'm just going to try to render a entire new landscape for the right bit. edit: And the other posts were commenting on v1, which was much worse. ;) Click 'v1' above the image to see it.
  4. oops.. actually forgot about that one.. thanks
  5. Hmm.. I don't think penguins can blink...
  6. Final update. For a while anyway...
  7. Took in all the C/C... here is a update. Still going to add some textures to the mountain, and maybe fix the lighting a bit. Re-rates are appreciated. :)
  8. Thanks for the C/C.. I'll work on that. :)
  9. Thanks for the comments. :) And I only use dA for posting my resources. ;)
  10. Sorry, don't know any tutorials for terragen. And I used Photoshop. Terragen to render the landscape, that's all. You can download terragen from http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/
  11. I couldn't fix the black spot at the top of the main mountain, and I didn't feel like rendering another landscape and patching up the darkness. So I left it and hoped it wouldn't stick out. I tried to add two moons, but I just couldn't.. it didn't look right. I agree with the space comment. I noticed it myself.. but I've put enough time into the image for now. I'll pull it up tommorow and fix some stuff that was bugging me.. like the bad lighting/shading, and the space scene. Thank you very much for the C/C. :)
  12. Thank you for the C/C. But imo it wouldn't be much of a terraspace image if I removed most of the space scene. ;) It's not meant to be a wallpaper.. it just can be if someone wants to try. :)
  13. I present to you - My final image - Fantasy II :) About 110 layers, 4 or 5 terragen renders (yeah.. I forgot exactly how many I rendered), And 4 days into this one. I originally planned this to be my final image.. because I need a break from designing for a while. But I had alot of fun making this so we'll see.. maybe not. I took in all the C/C everyone has given me. And it has really helped. So thank you everyone. :) This can actually be wallpaper size aswell... just may take a little stretching.. or a small screen. Feel free to use it as a wallpaper. Just don't claim you made it or anything. :P Anyway... thanks for reading, and here is my "Final Image". ;) v1 - v2
  14. edit: nvm Nice wallpaper.
  15. Sorry for double post. Going to leave this open until Sunday, It shouldn't be too hard to come up with a sig themed around nature. ;)
  16. bump. - I'd like for more people to see this tutorial. Alot of people asked me for this, and only a few people replied.
  17. tbh, I don't agree. I could make two.. maybe three LP terraspace images in a week. Much less a abstract sig, they're easy to make.. It doesn't really take a full week to make a sig, it just depends on whether you feel like making one or not. =/ I made my entry in about a hour. That's including rendering time in terragen, and making a new planet especially for that sig too.
  18. Actually, there IS a way you can make a button clickable inside a image. It is called using a background image + a embedded image over it. If you place the embedded image in the right place people won't be able to tell it's two seperate images. You can also use maps to make certain parts of a image clickable. But it takes a advanced coder to know how to set the map coordinates.
  19. Try resizing the hands and making them smaller so you can see part of the wrist. v2 is better, but I think it'd look better in b/w so the focus isn't completely on the hands.
  20. Of course it is, because well.. he made it in the first place lol. But in my opinion it's too fat.
