Why are you crying for people to watch some video on Animal Abuse in China? Unless the video is about a video game where a fake player blows a raspberry at a fake dog and the dog runs away safe, I don't see how that video relates to this situation at all. Maybe we should all go watch videos on murder since almost everyone does that in RS...Oh wait, it has nothing to do with a video game, thats right. Get some common sense please.

How about you go volunteer at an animal shelter instead of complaining about shooing away (AKA, not hurting) a dog in a video game?

looking at the world map, the furnace in port phasmaty seems closer, since in Neitiznot you need to walk around. being one click away doesn't make it closer. anyone want to go and count squares? :P Neitiznot: 19 Squares and 1 click from bank to furnace. I only did route 1 (I have heard of people getting the items on route 2), that way you can evade any combat event and you don't need to worry about your person dieing at all. Of course, you won't get any decent rewards at the end, but if you are only doing it for the Lumberjack set then I recommend only doing route 1. And yes, you lose your items if you die during the mini-game. ~Trumpet

With the full set I earned about 179.5 exp per yew log, instead of the normal 175. Every little bit helps I guess. ~Trumpet

Firstly, the game has been encountering issues where people turned up at the island with no intentions of helping to win, but just to stand around and get the rewards due to the efforts of their teammates. This is clearly not in the spirit of the game, therefore you now need to have dealt at least 50 points of damage over the course of a game to get a reward. ==== I still don't know where people are getting 80. I don't know if you always get them. I havn't completed a task yet (I've been doing routes 2 and 3 with the little girl), but I've only gotten 1 juvinate event so far. And there were about 6 of them. ~Trumpet

Bleh. Using the Rod of Ivandis special on the Juvinates and just letting them dissapear doesn't count as completing the event. ~Trumpet

If you right click one of the paths it will say "escape from event". You can leave anytime you want. ~Trumpet

*Sigh* I took route 3 and encountered about 8 lvl 139 giant snails in multiattack zone with range. My companion died in about 3 seconds. Edit: Bring a druid pouch. I encountered a lot of ghasts, and I can't continue until I "deal with the event" ~Trumpet

I think Mod Ash said on the official forums it was some type of bug. Try talking to Velif or whoever again. ~Trumpet
