  1. No its not new ive noticed it before. I think its just that the name is centered and maybe slightly larger that makes it stand out.
  2. Nominally, for people who have 'completed' the skills to be able to discuss stuff. I know what happens in a high level forum, I'm asking why they exist.Honestly i remember the reasons they brought them in. They wanted a high level suggestion forum so they could recieve top end feedback. They also knew end game players would be very knowledgeable in the game so they wanted a seperate place for their suggestions. They also wanted a place where people who were, by jagex terms, end game players a place to discuss metagame mechanics. They also wanted a place where they could hang out and commune with each other.
  3. Like i stated before its more about how the guy was releasing the info. There is a great deal of difference between one person posting a mod post for the comp cape guidelines and a guy who might post a text, collage, or video verbatim of everything on that one thread. Also keep in mind this particular individual was doing this for many different topics. With that said everything we have been doing up until now is fine really. Just dont go taking pictures of whole conversations on the hlf. Most people just either copy one particular post in text or picture. That should suffice to get the discussion going.
  4. I feel that the whole drag and drop thing made this update slightly redundant, but I am reveling with you anywyas for the ease of it all :p. I for one am also loving the movable xp pop-up. That has to be the ninja highlight of the year so far. I hate having minigame HUDs being so... in the way? Letting us move the xp pop up from the top middle was amazing. Now we just need chris l to cave in and let a chat message on acidic, mirrorback and pulsing spider spawns.
  5. There really is no harm in sharing things, but the degree and to a lesser extent the manner the guy released it was probably not in the best interest of the community. I haven't personally seen what was released. Has he released to a more confined community like this one or another forum he could have been addressed. With that said I'm curious if Lee even addressed him before actually taking action.
  6. I was wrong. I suck.
  7. You are right... comp is one story line and the reefwalker cape scroll.
  8. You have to complete all scrolls, story lines and port score for comp. And you are right in there being one trio, but there will be three seperate lines. Last update was the hunter, architect and cook. This time its the gorajo, divine energy girl and the mask possessed man. Pretty sure you are wrong about requiring all scrolls story lines and port score for comp. Based on what [anchor=link]wiki [/anchor][anchor=link]http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Completionist_cape[/anchor] says all you need is 1 story line. and you need the reef-walker cape. that is not all stories and scrolls in the least. you don't even need the score for comp, just the title ~~~legoman187~~~ The requirement predates ports v2 and came with the initial release of the minigame. Really its just max port score. You need to do everything in ports short of actually making anything and getting max distance.

  11. Max port score is the only thing really. Youll need to get 6+ more scrolls, max out your buildings for terracotta and azure resources and complete 3 more storylines with two finales. The two finales are an assumption based on the last two port updates. Golems may have been cut for budget.
  12. Rubelabs confirmed for release this week by mod rascasse via twitter... is that even an update? Im guessing hati and skoll with runelabs. Next week many of us bid farewell to our comp capes.
  13. Ueah post max all i care about it money for gear and having appropriate pvm skilling supplies.
  14. Yea, apparently Shark Tank is just the U.S. version's name. Internationally that show is called The Dragon's Den, which makes the Dragonkin's Den name a more blatant reference. I wasnt aware of an international version.
  15. Ports v3 is coming next week. For those interested in the t85 weapons you'll need as stated earlier by a jmod "100-200 chi/plate and half as much koi scale and pearls." You'll also need "high tens of thousands in azure and not as much in terracotta." I'm guessing you'll br in fairly good shape is you have over 20k cotta and 50k azure.
  16. Not exactly a very convincing BTS video for the style of content development. It makes mod mark look more pleading if anything. I am being moderately critical, but even this BTS is scripted and can tell by mod marks timely responses. For those who didn't catch on this is jagex version of the Shark Tank.
  17. Qbd pet confirmed to be 1/2500, threshold is 500.
  18. TYThat's still shit though lol, the spawn rate is atrocious and it's in the Wilderness -.- Worldhopping would be a great fix but the camera glitch is still prevalent sowatdo Sit here and discuss how SHRIMPY HAS NO TENTACLES!
  19. 200th quest is billed as "Dimension of Disaster." These people are genius!
  20. Well we are 3/3 on that one.
  21. Obviously... now im curious what the terracotta portal will look like.
  22. Chaos elemental pet drop rate is 1/2500 with a threshold of 500.
  23. Wildywyrm staff concept art: Jade portal for ports 3:
  24. What if they made special rewards each trim requirement. Maybe something like titles, cosmetics and such for each trim requirement. On top of that they could have titles and cosmetics for how many trim requirements you complete.
  25. I think having practice mode and instancing having a synonymous feel is a good thing. I mean I think the only difference between the two being that practice mode has no death penalty and no actual reward that real experience in fighting the boss. You'll obviously take change losses on things like the chaotic staff and supply loss which both are reasonable.
