Lol makes me think of my current learning proccess of dks. Yeah i have top end gear outside of seismics and ascxbows, but im using what i got (royal xbow, drygores and cs) to learn them. Yeah youll burn through supplies and be inefficient. But the bright side of this is the learning you get - the real xp. Also partaking in daily rock bubbles really sets you on the right path to not burn your existing cash stack.

Honestly you could do qbd in rune... its all about ease really. Im guessing you could learn araxxor fairly well with nex/ports and t80 weapons. It should be expected that youll have a fairly hard time on him though. Things like nex, rots, etc. Are designed for teams. That means more aoe, higher hitting attacks to accomodate chances that other players wont get targeted. Honestly thats probably why nex keeps getting touched up on so much. She is so close to the solo vs team line. Jagex doesnt want her to be necessarily soloable, but doesnt want to go all out against that option. Thats mostly because they have a motto of letting players define their play styles. Edit: i wish we knew when araxxor was coming!

Started learning DKs trybrid with death lotus, royal crossbow, drygores and cs. I had a task of 200 and my first run I killed 15 before yak was out. I went back with the same yak and killed 30 in about 30 minutes... Nothing pro, but getting better. Also got a seers ring drop. 69.5m cash stack so far and still saving slayer drops for skilling. The only drops I'm selling I think will be the bones since they are pretty crappy. Then again the xp per gp is pretty good. I mighg keep them.

Sounds about right really... And im guessing we should expect some interesting skill drops of they are better than the QBD. Im hoping that there are some big tertiary herblore ingredients such as grenwall spikes, limpwurt roots, red spider eggs, unicorn horns, white berries, etc. The QBD really has it good with her lantadyme and torstol drops. Im excited to see what comes. In the mean time im going to work on some DIY antipoison++. Edit: Crap! Magic tree roots... crap! Might just solo corp a bit. Maybe ill gey lucky.

I'm hoping ascension drops... I know thats bad, but I would like to get them. I might ditch virtus book, hold wand for mage tanking and work on t90 mage 2h.

I hope we get the twitch streaming before araxxor simply so I can begin streaming it at the go. I have more guesses on abilities and tactics for araxxor: Light and Dark - Run/surge to the webs and set them on fire before the darkness overcomes you and araxxor pounces. BTS shows the player lighting the web on fire which seemingly stuns araxxor. Cacoon - Cast freedom before araxxor can take a bite out of you. BTS shows "you successfully struggle from the caccoon."

I saw this coming... So basically subing super antifire for antipoison++. I'm also betting Araxxor will reside under Darkmeyer. Those steep cliffs would be the perfect place to put a cave for the spider. Teleporting would be a bit far though since you should only have ectophial I think...

. Ok first off that is a VERY good lore connection. I would like to know their explanation for the others. They literally just said in that update - you are reaping the souls for him - he wants strong monster souls you go get em. QBD is the only problematic one because you never kill her, you only restore her magically induced slumber. That is just a lore-concept. They could easily change it to fix each of the bosses by saying that the bosses have gained strength according to how many they've slain. QBD - Reap the lost souls by defeating her so Death can pull some away. Zil/Kril/Graar/Kree/Nex - The many they've slain have made them stronger. Help knock them down to size so death can part with a chunk of their souls. Etc...

Oddly enough i agree... i think twitch kind of falls in this category. People love showing off in game and this streamlines the processs they have to go through to doing that.

I think the twitch thing might be cool for people who want to experience content second hand. I wouldnt mind that while training something else.
