If you think about it... you have comp capes setting the the minimum bar for particle capes (or high prestige capes... whatever). Then 120 capes for specified prestige. The 120 capes don't necessarily need updating and are purely prestige. 99 capes though are a standard milestone and at the very least the first major leveling milestone. Most skills are reasonable enough to get 99 in - reasonable ease of access being something of a desired aspect for fashionscape items. So it should be understood why 99 capes get the fashionscape overhaul over 120 capes.

Having a randomized pin personalized for logging in is great for authenticating users. But doing so when you are tryjng to access your bank AFTER you log in is rediculous.

I think maybe he is suggesting an authenticator in place of the pin. Edit: that would be some annoyance when world hopping though.

Honestly i've been thinking of inventor items being brought into runescape via other means for a while now. I just havent said anything. Spring cleaner was pretty much a dead give away on it now. I mean really... - spring cleaner is concept art from inventor - coin collector looks like a dustbuster - wicked pouch could have been a runecrafting invention - silverhawk boots and skill outfits using base components Now im curious if inventor is going through an overhaul concept wise. Haha I wanted to post the same thing... I mean really what's left for invention? I do hope they will make the portables an invention item. It's like the old unofficial guilds back then in yanille & camelot. Quite a social method of training :D Oh that was the other ones... portables too! Wow they screamed invention... even in mechanics. I mean access to a forge, sawmill, well, range with perks. Yeah, that screams inventor.

In the BTS they said they were coming out with a "spring cleaner" on treasure hunter. It needs to be recharged using springs apparently. The spring cleaner breaks down unwanted drops and sends them to the bank. Im guessing it will break down bronze to rune armour and weapons as well as bows into raw materials.

I cant wait for the spring cleaner to see what drops it will convert.

I would go as far as to say that whether it should be redesigned or not shouldn't even be polled. If the reward for hitting 99 in a skill clips badly with your default player model, it shouldn't even have left the beta. Sure, give us a say in what it should look like, but I honestly can't see any justification for keeping them the same anymore. It seems derpy to me as well when people have been crying out for them to be redesigned in greater numbers and further back than the idea of 120 capes ever cropped up - there is almost no need to poll it at all just do it!Well its going to be interesting to see what they do with the capes. I certainly hope they take a serious look and consideration to the player created skill models. If they do that though they might be faced with answering the question: why are 120 capes left to their traditionL looks and not the thematic designs?

You need to make sure that you match the 16 didget code shown to you on the runescape site to the authenticator account. This is how jagex knows you, the owner, logged in on the site and set up the authenticator. You might have done what i did by creating an account for your gmail instead of your runescape account. Try creating an authenticator account with the 16 didget code. Then name it as your runescape account. After that wait for it to reset the pin and quickly enter in the new pin.

It is a web application that you can use both on your mobile phone or on your computer. You can do a lot of stuff on it notably buy/sell on the GE, talk in pm, fc, cc; check prices, and check D&D reset times.
