In a podcast mod osborne talks about death... I think it talks about it in the bird and the worm podcast. He mentions that the gods dont necessarily lose their soul. But the death of a god is so cataclysmic that it obliterates the soul in the process of killing the god. And in the last quest involving the dragonkin we learn while fighting the shadow of jas that the gods do leave an imprint on the stone.

So far we know... When someone touches the stone: - Part of the person is imprinted on the stone. - Imprinting allows the dragonkin to know who touched it. - Imprinting gives off residual energy When someone uses the stone: - The person forfiets their soul. - The person ascends to godhood. - The dragonkin are driven mad with pain and enraged. - The dragonkin are empowered to a degree dependant on the ammount syphoned from the stone. The elder mirror: - The elder mirror can be used to syphon back the stones energy from the gods, but has an adverse effect on the dragonkin. - Using the mirror is like a tug of war which means stronger gods may require more than a couple dragonkin using the mirror.

I think having a true max cape would be beyond insane. Having true mastery capes would be ok. Keeping comp cape requiring the same reqs, but maybe have trim require one true mastery is fitting.

I'm not sure if someone really went into detail on how the forest will work on Mazcab, but I thought it might do some good to explain it further. The forest is pretty much exactly like a dungeoneering floor except everything is dynamically generated. I'm guessing this means everything around the path is randomly placed. In dungeoneering everything is mostly static other than resources. The setting is much like temple trekking with different things to toy around with-in. The big difference between dungeoneering and Mazcab forest is the size of each generated area being somewhere around 20x20 or 30-30. Thats about 3x the size of a dungeoneering room. There will be ways to skill inside, things to earn and collect as well - including currency for the rewards.

Dev Blog: Elite Skills
I guess they might be tweaking concepts here with elite skills. I mean if you think about how smithing is conceptualized it does have a lot of crafting components in the background. I think invention might be bringing some of those pieces to the foreground. Some ideas might be like creating reenforced plating, cape pauldrons, buckles, etc.

Yeah invention IS an elite skill. Elite skills are culminations of your effort in several skills, hybrid skills if you will. The way the discussed elite skills and invention was that invention was a hub of creation. Elite skills on the other hand were plug-ins to invention. The way i saw it was almost like how antisan workshop is to smithing, but with actual outputs for use elsewhere.

No, this one from january 6th... Took me forever to find it. Note: The img url says "tuska_beast_master". Also I strongly suspect tuska will crash land, become severely injured or die on impact. From there we will climb up the broken shafts of her tusks and onto her back. Here the godless are mounted an offensive on one of tuskas next-to-be-consumed worlds or the world mentioned that she began being worshiped on. I supposed with two airut concepts being shown so far its only a fair assumption the raid world is the home of the airut?

Honesly rune dragons are pretyy easy. They are one of those monsters i would qualify as a vamp aura monster. That means you need the aura to help keep the trip stable prolonged. You definitely need two trips even with the best gear and collecting stuff.
