I consider my fly-tying an art (u make the flies for fly fishing) Its anything that you think of and use your mind to make it, like drawings, sculptures, flies :)

here comes the daily embarassment from sliceman. when you draw say a picture of a fish and u want to get the initial outline. Do u do liek one line or do u do strokes of lines to get the nest looking one and erase that probably mad eno sense, if not ill demostrate on paint.

Yea, after re-reading i think i should follow the steps in order.

Practice. Draw your best however it is, then look for mistakes by comparing your drawing to the real object. Show people your work and see if they notice mistakes you didn't notice. Experiment different techniques and ways to fix or improve parts of your drawing, because the best ways are usually found through lots of trial and error. :) Thanks man, i think ill get a sketch pad, and start drawing :oops: :P ive always wanted 2
