lol. get a themometer if you dont have one and measure the temp around your gpu. if it has temp censors there may be programs that could tell you the temp but probably not as accurately. lmao! wtf are talking about :lol: the sensors are the only thing that can tell the temperature, a thermometer will be like 30-40 degrees C away from real temp, because you need the one that's INSIDE the gpu

I wasn't sure before, but now it REALLY looks like gpu overheating If your power LED was flashing your pc was in stand-by mode i think

If it's monitor, we won't see any problem :| And what do you mean runescape doesn't use video card? You think it creates the graphics with ram? or cd-rom maybe?

:shock: wth? Well, you can change your video card but i doubt that's the problem. Can you explain the problem more detailed?

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/download.html Scan your pc with that program. It it finds any errors - your ram is dead. (even 1 error means that)

I have 8800GTX, which is of the same series. Entire screen goes random colour when the video card shuts itself down because of overheating

Uhh.. Maybe i'm too used to oblivion.. Actually i'm starting to think i'll stay with the current graphics. I'd rather look at what we have now than at more detailed toon style graphics #-o I wouldn't really be surprised if the posted requirements will be the ones needed for highest quality (except HD resolutions, of course), it isn't that detailed.. But they might have made the same trick most gaming companys do today: they say the specifications, at which it will be possible to start the game, but it might be like 2 frames per second -.-
