  1. http://www.moosetracks.com/flavors/detail/12 Definitely this. =P~
  2. Freaking win. If he's not growing on you yet...
  3. Yes, because those men have been discriminated against so much. Damn, we just have it soooooo hard. So all men should suffer inequalities because of the past? Hmmm... What inequalities are you suffering from as a man? If anything, it's extremely unequal, favoring you, as a man.
  4. Yes, because those men have been discriminated against so much. Damn, we just have it soooooo hard.
  5. So you don't believe in public education then?
  6. Why shouldn't women get maternity leave? Why should I pay for an employee who is giving me no work? Because it's cheaper than training a brand new employee?
  7. Why shouldn't women get maternity leave?
  8. That statistic is full of holes, and you know it.
  9. Damn, then you despise me. A feminist is not a lesbian woman with hair growing all over her that is like Heman. The meaning of a feminist is someone (not necessarily a woman) striving for equality among men and women. Quite honestly, I think gender equality is something most overlooked in terms of people being "equal". Race and sexual equality issues are always in your face, but gender inequality is often overlooked, as seen in this thread with many thinking that the playing field is indeed equal. Men make more to the dollar than women, this is a known fact. This is not just some statistic that is drawn across the board, obviously jobs are controlled for this. The biggest problem is, women don't know they're making less than their male counterparts. We need more legislation to combat this discrimination against women. I also notice that many people use the word "bitc3h" very freely, and even at women. It's pretty disgusting.
  10. You automatically fail for mentioning Zeitgeist. Of course, the whole "If the Church had their way" thing isn't/wasn't exactly true, either. Zeitgeist is a word, it's not a reference to the "documentary".
  11. Just a piece that my friend wrote titled, "Save marriage from the shellfish".
  12. You realize that he's only liked among teenagers because essentially what he stands for is a United States with no laws, rules, and no Federal government, right? People like him believe that time is static, and that changing times don't require changes in infrastructure, regulation, and government. I mean...the gold standard? Really? Anyone with a mild understanding in economics would realize why we left the gold standard...but not Ron Paul. I suppose he enjoys unusually high unemployment due to a lack of liquidity, and an amazingly high deflation (unemployment would probably be in the 40%'s nowadays because of how large the population is). Every Ron Paul supporter I found in real life wasn't registered to vote, either. Right now the front-runner for 2012 in the Republican Party, is Sarah Palin.
  13. Good article: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... 141P46.DTL
  14. These groups voted in favor of Prop 8 with more than 60%.
  15. While a large percentage of blacks did vote for Prop 8, more whites still vote in favor of it. Secondly, there was a lot of lying about it from Mormon groups; such as your pastor will go to jail if he says that homosexuality is wrong in church. They also made it seem like we would be teaching different "gay things" in schools: they tried making it an education issue instead. All and all, a lot of propaganda to fool uneducated people. Yes on 8 spent much time in black neighborhoods doing serious door-to-door outreach. No on 8 did not. Also, there have been stories about homosexuals committing hate crimes against blacks because of this statistic...
  16. Gawrsh, a genius, or a man with some sense and understanding of what causes terrorism? http://www.dawn.com/2008/11/10/top5.htm Excerpt: Treating it as a regional issue?!?!!? ZOMG! Finally! I'm glad that his campaign rhetoric about Pakistan was just that, rhetoric. I was wary about him being so aggressive towards Pakistan, but as I figured, it was "hard on terror" rhetoric that Americans "need" to hear because they don't understand that military solutions don't dissolve terrorism, they amplify the causes. Securing the water in Kashmir is definitely something that must be done. I this man.
  17. It's quotes like these that make me realize that the phrase "All men are created equal" is meaningless. The seperation of church and state was abandoned long ago, and it's a damn shame. It's kind of funny. Nations with official churches have more separation of church and state than the United States; the US, a country founded on the ideal.
  18. Until you figure out what to do with the children we currently have in orphanages or foster homes, don't tell me that there's plenty of people willing to adopt. Giving birth is a dangerous medical procedure, as is abortion, but they shouldn't be forced to carry another being for 9 months. You know the people that ARE willing to adopt? Homosexuals. Unfortunately, people like you won't let them adopt.
  19. Ginger i think he means in terms of gay marriage...which he is sort of correct on. Gays can only marry in the Netherlands, Spain, and Norway in Europe. They can only marry in Connecticut and Massachusetts here. However, you're way farther with Civil Unions than we are, but it is still separate and equal, and therefore not equal.
  20. He predicted their attacks, actually. They made ads about him changing the dollar bill with his face on it, among other things. And I think it's awesome \
  21. I don't know about most abortions, but I do know one woman that wanted a child, but she doesn't have enough time or money to care for a special needs child. Each time she got pregnant, the child had a disability. She's had 3 abortions because of it, and each time she was very depressed about it. I believe a lot of abortions happen among women that already have children, and don't have the funds or time to raise more. Question: How much time in jail should a woman do if she gets an abortion, if it's illegal?
  22. This is why he is awesome: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081110/ap_ ... guantanamo
  23. Guys, I think Joe is still drunk atm. Holy crap though, I lol'd at this topic
  24. You think life is sacred, but like I said, it's not a human life yet. How can it be a human life without nature regularly murdering all those conceived eggs? When does the body "get a soul"?
  25. You realize that race is not biological, and that it's a social construct made up by humans...right?
