Holy shit. I remember reading this years ago. Oh my god the flashbacks. F2p me roughly 90 combat afk grinding at flesh crawlers using zybez's tiko online client in splitscreen to read webcomics/research what I could be doing as a member while I mindlessly grind xp. A few weeks later sneaking money into an envelope to use paybycash to buy membership cus I knew my parents could never buy it for me and they didn't have fancy stuff like membership cards back then. Seeing the mailman take that envelope from the mailbox that morning was the happiest moment of my childhood no lie Even if I had to wait like 6 weeks or something for them to process that shit

Hey Cow, I'm glad to hear you've been better lately! As someone who's been through some rough patches himself, but not nearly as bad, and literally had to be lifted up by others to get out of it, I'd just like to say that I really admire the strength of someone who can hold their own when life beats them down. I find memories can be a haunting thing, but those of us who have the strength to keep pushing on will be ok in the end, when the past no longer holds any gravity on them. No you need to save your Master Ball for the random ass rattata that you wanted to catch for the lols but accidentally misclick your stack of ultra balls

On all roamers, status/damage carries over. They never heal it off. What I like to do is paralyze them, then get their hp low. Paralysis is a 1.5x catch rate modifier, I believe, and getting them red is like a 3x (?) or something like that. Then I throw a Quick Ball whenever I see them, because paralysis will slaughter their speed. Or if it's nighttime I use a Dusk Ball because the modifier is higher. This way as long as you know the trick to get them to roam where you want, and you buy repels, it won't take you very long to catch. Imo it's the easiest method. Of course if you know you have a faster pokemon, you can first get the roamer low, then when it's low enough put it to sleep with your fast pokemon (sleep is a 2x modifier so it's even better than paralyze), then chuck a bunch of balls at it. This works better in theory because it's easier and faster, but during the storyline you will rarely, if ever, have a pokemon that's both faster than the roamer AND has a reliable sleep move (Hypnosis is not reliable and you're better off doing the paralyze method).

It gets babes. not really That's what I used to think about motorcycles. Then my high school Architecture teacher (who rides a motorcycle to school every day when weather allows) told me that most girls are too scared to go anywhere near one. But...they're so cheap compared to a car :/
