Biking helps build leg muscle. Thats what I need to get. A summer wihtout running once and biking at all = fail.

So me and me German Exchange student just did a 5 Mile biking trip. I was basically wheezing, Which means I am out of shape. Track try-outs are in 3 months. This gives me time to train my leg muscles by biking. I usually do the 4x400m and the 1600 meter run. The German kid just started a 40 mile round trip to mall just to buy shoes. Makes me sick -.- . so, How many miles should I do a day minimum to get prepared? How many miles should I be able to do on bike to be able to sprint a mile at same speed?

This is more of a selfish suggestion. I think it would be great to be able to hover over a topic's title and get a small preview of it. I use dial up and hate waiting 5 minutes to read a topic. If i know what it is about, I can determine whether to open it or not.

Hello, I am having issues with other users of my computer in my family changing settings of programs. They always mess with java and SQL server settings. Is there anyway to block people from changing settings using registry or any way else?

To the first responder, FOrmating the C drive will not reer the computer back to factory installation. It will make it where you cant use windows and have to install an OS. The only computer I can think of off-hand , that you can do a system recov, is the Compaq Persario (sp?). If you have a recovery CD that came with your computer, that might work.

*Cough Macro's* OT: Computers don't dictate what is advanced or not, it's the user. There are over 120 features in Windows XP/Vista that most here don't use/ never heard of. Computers aren't very advanced. In the army ,they use computers that we won't see for another decade. Smart computers = AI AI = bad in movies (iRobot ,AI, Terminator) AI can do everything we can do and more, with ease.
