Decided not to quit or get member, just slow down for a while and then see how much time I'm willing to spend on RS from now on. I think that's reasonable... :P

Why people think about quitting? I thought skilling is MUCH more than show-off (highscores). What's an achievement if you can't compare it to anyone? Would just be the same as freaking out over having level 5 woodcutting, because you can't see what others have. I wonder how you would feel if you play without any purpose, without competing with friends to spice things up. Why even bother with fast xp if noone will ever even notice what skill you train or how fast you do it. Runescape without highscores simply aint Runescape. I own most of the daily/weekly and some of the monthly xp records in F2P, just because that's what I enjoy doing. Maybe you have another Idea of having fun. But if I can't play the game the way I enjoy it, then why bother.

not even for the sole purpose of getting rid of those accursed ads? I never have ads since I make my window small and scroll up :shades: Saves me many unfortunate misclicks...

Ok, just to make things clear. I'm not member atm and don't plan on becoming one untill I at least saw what the new update is all about. I have currently no intention on getting p2p, I'd rather just quit or keep playing f2p - even without HS. But yeh, you never know I guess... :)

No. Highscores lite will stay available, maybe we could use that? If HSL is still available, I have some Python code that could go towards such a goal. One would just need to know how to program in Python to work it. :P Whatya waiting for mate :P

Why play a game without any goals? :mellow: Highscores was the only thing that kept me entertained about this game... Not aiming for the best rank, just getting xp records & such... goodbye to that now huh... I honestly feel like getting P2P or simply quitting... Busted him botting defence once when I was still doing strength. He was standing behind the barriers and clicking spiders. (which makes your character's face change direction towards spiders, but he obviously couldn't reach them) Also noticed him alching behind the barriers, and everytime he came back to the spiders he suddenly replied on questions you asked 5 minutes before, when he was still alching. Not saying he still bots, but you certainly aren't the first person to say this, and wont be the last, seeing his suspicious behaviour.
