To be honest I don't really know either. But that's what makes the place shine - you can simply carry a rune scimitar with you and rack up the kills. These guys are very useful for their talisman drops. And a rune longsword looks better than a rune scimitar, in that outfit. The same can be said for just about every rune set. But why are the best looking weapons always inferior... ;_; I choose for a rune longsword, I don't really care about the speed, I like the accuracy and power :) They are weak to crush, ever tried a B axe? :^_^:

Yes I know, I play rather focussed! :blink: I also mentioned that these xp rates were in the best conditions and that it was normal to reach less. :razz: I superheated all of my magic xp (44M+) and about half my smithing xp (70M+). I got so used to heating bars & having the perfect setup that I can almost do it with my eyes closed. :geek: But those 137k xp are really possible. ;) ~greatings, Water is Nat.

And I don't think many people can be bothered buying a chainbody for no drastic reason either. Apart from that, who cares about defence whilst fighting monsters that only hit like 14. :ohnoes: I'll be honest, your setup beats mine in 3 points. Let's not mention the 4 stats in which my setup is better. :unsure: All I did was give him the setup that I prefer. I'm not really interested in checking those few stat-differences. Hey, I don't think that any new updates will influence the exp rates for Ranged. Best exp rate are Giant Spiders (lvl 50) in the Stronghold of Security. I don't advice those, since they require loads of food & a high defence level. I prefer flesh crawlers (also found in the SOS) / Ice Giants (in the cave south of Rimmington or North East wilderness) I'd advice Flesh Crawlers with this equipement: -Rune Full helm -Green D'hide body -Rune platelegs or green D'hide chaps, depending on your defencelvl -Amulet of Power -Green D'hide vambraces -Maple short bow -> rapid style -leather boots Iron or even bronze arrows will do. Hey, I wouldn't use High Alchemy for Magicxp at all. You can simply buy ores, and depending on your level and the current G/E prices, you can make money by superheating steel, mithril, adamantite and runite bars! It's decent experience and you will get some good to very good smithing experience along the road. If you want the very best magic xp, and care less about losing cash, then superheating iron is the way to go! :) (up to 140k xp / hour ) If you have the best possible bank & inventory setup, you should be able to reach following exp rates: - Adamantite - 60k smith & 84.8k magic xp / hour - Runite - 70k smith & 74.2k magic xp / hour - Iron - 32.5k smith & 137.8k magic xp / hour I haven't tried mithril & steel recently, But steel & mithril should both give more magic xp per hour than adamantite, but less than iron. I do want to add that these xp-rates are only in the best conditions, you may find yourself getting less experience, that's normal. :rolleyes: Best of luck with your goals! But I like cheap... ! :blink: The Tome of Frost is rather meant for members who actually use water runes for lunar spells or w/e. I don't see much use for it in F2P tbh. Saving a water rune when teleporting to Falador? meh... And about the water blast... who trains with water blast?! :-? I don't think the rewards offer many real 'improvements'. They only offer alternatives. Coal bag seems great, and for the rest, mweihh, I guess xp lamps... :huh:

- Longbow sight - 45k - 30 Dungeoneering, 45 Range for maple longbow; 30 Dungeoneering, 55 Range for magic longbow - Increases the ranged attack of a maple longbow to 110 and a magic longbow to 140. That's what the Dungeoneering guide says. But it's not mentioned anywhere that the Magic longbow (focused) is a members' item and not F2P. The item in fact is F2P, but you might want to split the 'use' up in 2 sections, F2P (maple) and P2P (magic) ~water

Not that I don't believe this, but as far as I know, you can only get highercase with membership (funorb/rs). If you make a new account, and add higher cases, they are automatically changed into lowercase ingame. Meaning that when they ask you to change name, I doubt they'd allow you to have the P2P benefit of using higher case. :blink:
