  1. Brother who's 13, so I'm older.
  2. Our society and the Swiss society may differ but if they can have guns and maintain one of the world's lowest crime rates, then we can. Psycho people will not go around killing people if they know they could be killed just as easily by any person they try to shoot. As I said, even in America in a small city in Georgia, everyone has a gun, and that city is the safest in the country. It's like drugs, there's no way to stop it. And would you rather there be an underground black market in America for guns? That won't change anything, it will make the situation worse because the criminals will hold the advantage, and no one will be able to defend and they will die. In America, with a ban it will just make guns more predominate on the black market, more expensive no doubt, but it will be huge.
  3. Does Britain border Mexico, Central America, and South America? No. Does America? Yes. Where do most of the drugs/illegal weapons come from? Those exact places I mentioned, it will be easy to get them here with or without gun laws rather than in Britain, which is an island.
  4. Didn't Britain even ban the ability to use self defense against someone breaking into your own house? You need self defense, no matter a ban on guns, people will get a hold of them, it's not hard at all, you could easily illegally get them from Mexico, Columbia, who knows, it's the same as drugs. If one person has one and no one else is aloud to, then you're going to have death because no one can defend themselves. If just one person has a gun, and holds it up to the gunman, the gunman is not going to shoot.
  5. Why did they spell Canadians wrong?
  6. I know, but I'm curious who was and who wasn't killed. They made it sound on the news like all students, but they were vague on this aspect, most likely because they don't know yet. Does anyone know how the FBI will identify the gunman?
  7. Although it is impossible to at this point, I feel that the UK is in the wrong banning guns because no matter how hard you try, people will get their hands on them, and no one who is innocently cornered will be able to retaliate. We should have guns for everyone, but this is highly improbable at this point. However, both Switzerland and a small town in Georgia do this, and their crime rate is the lowest in the world. You're not going to shoot someone who has a gun.
  8. You're right, you can kill with practically anything. There's no way that a person with a knife/baseball bat would have gone through so many people's lives so quickly than someone with a gun, though. True. So was it all students, or were there any teachers/staff killed?
  9. You're right, you can kill with practically anything.
  10. Wrong, banning guns makes them more of a treat to get illegally. What we need is like Switzerland, where everyone has a gun. You're not going to shoot someone who also has a gun. They have the lowest crime rate in the world.
  11. Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but it's up to 33 including the shooter.
  12. Yea, I can't believe this either. It reminds me so much of Columbine.
  13. Smuggling drugs from Columbia and Peru I see. :-$
  14. The government is a service, and therefore I think they should provide an invoice on taxes.
  15. Lol, I read that as if the castle was gone. Silly me, castles don't disappear, well, eventually they do. :P
  16. I eat when I'm hungry and sometimes when I'm bored, mostly unhealthy foods though. I do drink a lot of water, but the healthiest thing I eat is probably a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or an apple. Around here there is nothing to eat healthy or not healthy, nothing for a quick snack anyway. Last night I was eating cheese slices, that's how bad it is, and my brother was eating hard taco shells. But maybe that's because everything is usually gone within the first two days of when my parents go shopping.
  17. That's new, I like that better opposed to, whatever floats your boat.
  18. Twas Anaesthesia/Herr. :) Ah, so that is how it is spelled. I was going to post that but I was scared I'd spell it wrong. :ohnoes:
  19. Are you serious? :P Um, 100Mbps to 155Mbps, no, I keep getting MBps. :XD: I'm lost in my own thoughts, I'm just gonna have this locked. :x
  20. Fix'd. I heard from a Fin that you should never put Finland in the same sentence as its bordering country. That country being Russia. :P
  21. You live near Washington DC right? I IP'd you once on DGI and it came up with DC not State. :o Nope I'm from WA. IP detection thingymabobs are known to be innaccurate. Yep, apparently it was wrong. Anyways, if you had lived there I was going to ask you if any protests have been going on lately. My bad, sorry. :x
  22. You live near Washington DC right? I IP'd you once on DGI and it came up with DC not State. :o
  23. I know someone in Dubai who has internet that is 100MBPS, and I wanted to know, what is the speed of the fastest internet in the USA? Mine is 10MBPS so this is surprising me, but meh, I have Charter, I know there is faster.
  24. Have it in Dubai. I'm just Dubai crazy right now, don't mind me. But you should have it somewhere exotic. I saw this commercial where Canadians got married in Tim Hortons. :o Canadians are funny! :P
  25. You're lucky you have no income tax. Qatar is one of few.
