  1. I still don't understand how you have a 63 trillion dollar expendable income.
  2. Can't sell any of mine, I'm stockpiling it for one of my projects. Also, construction begins on TFS Heimdall which when done will take the position of Alpha Fleet's flagship, and Ragnarok will be retired to Beta fleet's flagship.
  3. I'll keep 'em nice and clean for your return :P
  4. Terran Federation Military Structure Goes elite -> meh/not technically military [hide=Praetorian Guard]. This small group of soldiers are hand-picked at birth for their genetic traits, and trained mercilessly throughout their life in the arts of war. They are one of the most deadly forces in the entire universe, and are tasked with guarding the top levels of the Federation's political and military structure. They are rarely used in battle, due to their small numbers, but when they are they can easily turn the tide. [/hide] [hide= Federation Marines]These troops are the hammer of the Federation’s military forces. No mission is too hard for them, and they are normally used to force the holes in enemy lines and board enemy spacecraft. [hide=Federation Orbital Stormtroopers]These are an subdivision of the marines. They are extremely heavily armoured troops that are used to break through planetary defenses and force a hole in enemy controlled lands that other forces can then expand. [/hide][/hide] [hide=Federation Guard] These are the all-round balanced troops of the Federation military, supported by Scorpion artillery-tanks and MAASs (Mobile Anti-Air Systems). They are the anvil to the marine’s hammer. Equipped with numerous bio-enhancements and middle level infantry armour, they can take a fair amount of punishment, as well as dishing it out. [hide=Ghost Division]Ghost Division is a subdivision of the Federation Guard. They are an elite panzer division that is usually tasked with breaking through and encircling enemy forces, or taking control of strategic terrain or positions. [/hide] [hide=Panzer Grenadiers]Panzer Grenadiers are ground assault troops that are used for attacking fortified positions. They carry full complements of plasma, thermal, and fragmentation grenades for clearing out defenders. [/hide][/hide] [hide=Federation Light Infantry]These are highly mobile, lightly equipped troops that wear integrated-nanosuit bodyarmour, in addition to having jetpacks. They are one of the most fast attacking and mobile infantry units in history, though their training regimen means that their numbers are quite few. [/hide] [hide=Steel Legion] The Steel Legion is made up of convicted criminals from all across Federation land. Men and women who were set to be executed for crimes, but took the offer of 10 years service in the Steel Legion in exchange for their freedom. The Steel Legion is special in that, if a unit within it retreats from battle without being ordered to do so, every member of that unit automatically has another 10 years service tacked onto their term. The Steel Legion is used in the most dangerous battles and missions, meaning that their casualties are extremely high; so it's actually less dangerous for the unit to stay and fight whatever the odds, rather then retreat. [/hide] [hide=Infiltrators]These are hand picked for their stealth and expertise. They're used to disrupt supply lines and communications of enemy armies, as well as perform assassination and subterfuge missions. [/hide] [hide=Federation Militia] All able bodied members of the Federation are required to do a mandatory 8 month military training program every 20 years, and can be called upon to defend their homeland in the event of an attack. These troops are essentially civilian militia troops, so they are poorly equipped and don't have access to the same quality equipment that the career military troops do, but they will fight with complete devotion and suicidal bravery, as they are fighting for their homes and communities. [/hide] [hide=Federation National Police]These are the national police forces tasked with maintaining order and stability in Federation lands. [/hide] [hide=Federation Warrs]Warrs are a slow-reproducing semi-intelligent race that was discovered on the planet Vanaheim during the early colonial years. According to the Federation, they were included within their military, but have never been used in any battles the Federation has fought before. Image Unavailable [/hide] [hide=Terran Federation National Info]Government: Democratic Autocracy (Imperator is elected by the people for a life term) National Language: German State Religion: Neo-paganism (Norse paganism) Capital: Scarr, Midgard National Anthem: http:// Military Anthem: http:// http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCWGsalwgmY&feature=rec-r2-2r-7-HM Fleet Anthem: http:// Citizenship only granted after 2 years of federal service.[/hide] Yes my military is badass.
  5. I'm pretty sure they'll be both grateful to the empire that saved them from extermination, and understand the necessity of the move. Totalitarian measures can be taken against anyone who disobeys the law though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alignment_(Dungeons_&_Dragons)#Lawful_Neutral Wee D&D I know, I just copied the whole thing.
  6. The athletes would have children, their children would have children, and those children would have children before the race was completed. Either way, by the second set of children they would've forgotten where they were going, settled down and built a small farm town which would gradually flourish into a kelp-growing superpower. Pwaw I actually lol'd at that. -- TFed has enacted 3 policies to deal with the overpopulation on Japan. 1. 1 Child Policy, will cut down growth rate to -50% (or so) 2. Offering incentives to Litch citizens that are willing to move to a different Federation planet. 3. Conducting research into genetically modifying Litch so that they can safely eat and process "human food", which should reduce the stress on the ecosystem and the massive farmspace needed in the ocean. Clinics are also being set up, and the military and ministry of health are keeping close watch on Japan in case they need to quarantine an area quickly to stop the spread of the plague or any other type of disease associated with over-population. Other news: Pylons relating to Project SW still being placed all over Federation controlled space. Project SS starts Project Gestapo starts Project Kriegsmarine starts -- Also, this is for my reference (since 345 is an easy page number to remember):
  7. Lovely lovely technology. How did the Brits win so many events though?
  8. I HAVE STARGATE TECH IT IS THE BESTEST
  9. At the cost of a country-sized burn radius.
  10. Fine 50 billion, but the Federation has enacted a 1 child policy (1 egg policy? 1 spawn policy?) to cut down on the gigantic population and unmanageable growth rate. The citizens are a bit iffy about this new change, but they realize that it is for the best, as starvation within a few years of that kind of continual growth is a very real possibility. Litch in the Federation will also be required to do the mandatory 8 month military training programme. Grim, I guess Arch can decide who hosts it next, or we can vote on it. If we vote, my vote goes to Brazil.
  11. He really is. Vaguely. If he had done it I would've declared war on him, but nothing came of it. This situation was a bit different, in that you were threatening to virus bomb not just one of my planets, but one of my stronghold planets (Earth, Midgard, New Russia).
  12. Yes it's quite annoying. And you started with the virus bombs, keep in mind. No clue where Trol went, but I believe I took his lands way back, the map was never updated on the front page though. Regardless, Kazakh is part of TFed now. +His lands were in anarchy considering they haven't had a leader for 60 years now, didn't put up much of a fight.
  13. As long as the transports are completely unarmed, yes. They'll be thoroughly searched by Federation officials to make sure none of the transports have the virus on board. If they do, the transports will be fired upon. I hate to be so hostile but I've been virus bombed before, and anything threatening to use a virus to bomb an entire planet is near the top of the list of things I hate that people do in this game. And you can keep your embassy on Japan, aye.
  14. Your entire population is farmers?
  15. Nero replied to Harakiri's topic in Falador Tavern
Damnit I'm always doing that at the most inopportune moments.
  16. You can't make a chemical that multiplys stuff. You can't travel faster then light. You can't produce an energy source small enough to power a 'gigantic arc laser thing' that has the ability to burn things and be placed on a medium sized ship. You can't do a lot of things. I belive that it is much more possible that he makes kelp from the sea then the stuff you do. Now just think how big the sea is and think about how big the population is. Its possible. No, it really isn't possible. If he was growing that much food, then 50% of his total income would go to maintaining the farms, and the other 50% to maintaining such a large population (infrastructure, daycares, jobs, hospitals, schools, etc). If that's the case, then his military is armed with whatever they found in Japan, meaning 40 year old technology, and definitely not enough of it for 50 billion people. I don't quite think Retech (and you too Hex) really understand just how many people 50 billion is, and how much food they would require. You eat around 500 pounds of food per year (1 person!). 500 pounds x 50b = 25,000,000,000,000 pounds = 11,339,809,250 tonnes of food per year needing to be transported, packaged, sold, prepared and eaten. Here is the food production for the world right now (roughly): http://www.historylink101.com/lessons/farm-city/per_capita.htm Even with farming on the ocean floor, there's no where near enough food to support both your 50 billion population, as well as mine, Doom's, Grim's, Paul's, and Rpg's population which is around 20 billion right now. This is all disregarding the fact that Japan doesn't even have enough land or coastal waters to support that gigantic of a population.
  17. The world of food production isn't 3d though.
  18. If your virus gets released you realize I'll come for every world you have, right? -And 50 billion people? As Arch said, Japan had 5b people, 26% apparently evacuated, so that's 4b people. The logistics of having an army of 4b is...erm..implausible, to say the least. I was under the impression as well that we had moved away from the 60m troop attacks, since they were just stupid. Besides, if there were 50b people in Japan they would've been heavily malnourished and starving to death (not in the best fighting condition). The attack is on GAMEpause right now, so they can't build defenses and whatnot (this is just until Arch gets back and makes his decision). Lesser of two evils, Arch?

I do a 360 on the swingset. WHAT NOW [bleep]ES
  20. I am the antagonist after all.
  21. Considering as well that I get 1200kg of Duna a year. -- The Terran Navy is bombarding the shores of Japan, its air force running strategic bombing missions on its infrastructure, and tactical bombers softening the beach landing zones. There is currently a 3-wave amphibious assault taking place with 800,000 soldiers, as well as a 300,000 strong orbital dropship attack in southern Japan. Due to the civil unrest, it's unlikely there will be much of a defending force. I intend to keep Japan after this is over. Serve as a slap on the wrist for threatening to virus bomb Earth. Also, 80% of my entire fleet is in Sol, so there are no Litch troops that can get onto the planet, that's a guarantee. Diplomacy would've been preferable in your case Retech. But, after Japan is taken hostilities will end, at least on my part.
  22. TFed is sending soldiers and Beta Fleet to the Litch homeworld. Military forces on Earth are also on alert, in case the Licht have any problems there as well. Also probably not a good idea to threaten biological warfare. The last person that did that got insta-destroyed by every player in the game.
  23. The host gets the bonuses? I thought it was whoever won? Offensive combat bonuses are good, as well as orbital attack bonuses.
  24. Good thing I knew in advance, it might screw up my chances if my people got shot, my people will be equiped with personal shields when they arrive. Oh you... I'm not too sure my people could actually be considered "human" anymore hehe. #-o
