  1. I don't like waffles. I prefer raisins. From California. Sun Maiden.... good times. Goodluck with the shop. I'm sure it'll be a success. // Azvi.
  2. Off-Topic: That made me go roffelraisins. On-Topic: Anyway... as said, time shows its work... sorta'... - no, not really. Either way, I'm anticipadedly awaiting new pieces from you. // Azvi.
  3. Nice. I think it needs some bubbles/crystals/sparks inside it, that would make it more realistic. Also, some cracks might add to the realism, as well. // Azvi.
  4. Sorry, but my care-o-meter isn't working. Just put it under your signature... // Azvi.
  5. Come on... all I need is something related to sports... // Azvi.
  6. Perhaps you ought to lock this, Dragonrborn - since you have already paid for two of the entries, already... // Azvi.
  7. Yeah. Decided to try my hand at vector... or whatever the hell the method I use is called. This idea actually sprung first to mind during my last week's stay in Gran Canaria; as I was listening to Nightwish's masterpiece "Dead Boy's Poem", I thought to myself that it's so good it deserves to be made into an image (and yes, my insane addiction to said band is not healthy). So I went through and planned the details in my head, and promised myself I would start making it as soon as I got home. Which I did. The first scrap I made of the image didn't turn out very good. So I counsiled with the friendly ColAvanor (thanks a bunch!), he gave me some pointers and tips how it could be executed better. I made the changes. But still, not even 1/4 of the image was finished - so, because I used my school laptop, I worked on it in school. My classmates helped me a great deal (not with the effects. Rather how I could make some things even better). And... well... it took a fair amount of time to finish... which I will not utter here, as it's pretty sad to think about. But let's just say it's a two-digit number. ------------------------------------- As you might see, some things are off, not symetrical etc. But I made that on purpose. It's meant to look distorted and sort of twisted. You may comment and rate. However, I will not change anything in it. Every single pixel represents my thoughts and feelings about the song. It's my interpretation, thus it cannot be inaccurate or wrong. Enjoy! At first, it was meant to become a sig (though, not on these forums), but as I cropped it down (since it's so much easier working on a larger canvas) it didn't look all that great. So, I'll either use it at Voltage, or it'll just be another addition to my indy art folder. :P That would be all. :) // Azvi.
  8. No. Stop being such a spap. Masky, if someone spent five hours on making a sig, wouldn't that sig be considered as something the person put effort in to create? :) As for "pity" posts... well, they are of course imensily pointless and achieves nothing else but giving the person a minor ego-boost... which won't last longer than an hour or two, after a mod has closed the thread, banned and warned a number of posters due to uncalled flaming and sexually-oriented explicit comments regarding the author's nationality, sexuality, his no-good use of grammar and spelling... and, of course, his annoying signature. You know I'm right. Victim, yes, that would be the natural reason, wouldn't it? And I do not doubt that that is the reason in most cases. But I have seen those posts by... well... who probably are considered "respected" and "contributing" people - who I don't think gives a bleedin' dime about their post count. :P // Azvi.
  9. As I woke up this morning (which was about 20 minutes ago - no more, no less) I thought to myself "hmm... mmmmh... Yes. Definitely. I should make a thread at my favourite forum (), and do what I do best. I shall whine. I shall whine until the meaning of said word, have recived a whole new meaning, but lost all of its significance and effect upon the carnivorous souls that is the media boarders." I thought something else as well, but that is not important right now. What is important, is that you sit back, and bask in the glory, that must be considered as the pinnacle of all whine-threads to date. Right, after that little introduction, which is plain bullcrap I might add, I will jump straight to the case/chase... whatever. How you rate. Yup. I can't help but to notice how some of you rate things (the majority of "things" are of course images). Remember, I am not questioning how you rate things. I'm merely curious, thus I ask you. Sometimes I see images that anyone honestly (no matter the physical and mental disadvantages) could make in less than five minutes. Be it in MS Paint or Photoshop, they required no effort nor talent at all to make. And I see this... user... person, even - who gives said image a "8/10". I lose no sleep over it, but I don't understand how someone with their sight even remotely intact can give an image of that "caliber" a rating of 80% - when 100% (a 10) should mean the image is godlike and/or flawless. But then moments later, I see the same... user... person, even - rating another image which undoubtebly is 10000 x 8̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâùÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâú better, the same "8/10". And after going through yet another sleepless night (which these sort of matters generally tend to produce) I am still in a state of confusion, as to how two images, one being bad in my opinion, and the other being very good... in my opinion, can be given the same rating. Do you go after the person's indivualistic endeavour and progress, or simply how much you like it? But somehow, I don't think two images which is so different from eachother, effort and talent-wise, can not be compared. No matter the artist, and no matter how much it stinks compared to his prior makings. (I'm still blabbing about this one... user... or person, even.) Anyway, I have to go take a shower now, so I'll stop here. But can someone please shed some light here? Because I still don't understand. // Azvi.
  10. I'm home now. Now, where are the hundreds... no... make that thousands... millions... (...)... gazillions submissions I figured would be the most valid, and realistic estimation. Where, I ask? ... :( // Azvi.
  11. That is really cool, Demented! Sure, you can try making it in a different version. You don't have to though, since it's cool as it is. But... hm... just one thing, if it's not too much trouble, I would like you to change the angle on it; so that you see the "top" of the joystick, as well. Did that make sense? :P But as said, you don't have to. :) // Azvi.
  12. Alright. I'm off to Grand Canaria (sp?) on Saturday, the 11th - but I'll be back on the 18th. Just letting you know. Anyway, bumping this again... // Azvi.
  13. But I don't want a new sig, and I definitely don't want a pink one. Christ..., I've only just managed to rid the chick-label I so neatly obtained by wearing a purple sig with roses in. I bet some people still mistake me for a girl... Not one of my happiest moments on this forum. (however, if it had a fierceful devil in it, I might add it to my to-wear signature folder) // Azvi.
  14. Ah, I see. I vote you make her show devilhorns (\m/). That would be bleedin' sweet. // Azvi.
  15. ColAvanor, here's your full-sized one. Sorry for the delay. :) // Azvi.
  16. I love the concept - and it's very nicely executed. However, I think you should make it more clean, and remove the "silhouettes" in the background. Because, IMO, it looks a bit too busy for that kind of image. Other than that, I love it. The text is great (probably the first time I say that). Fantastic job. :) // Azvi.
  17. Keiphus... you're amazing. That is amazing! :o Thanks a lot, dude. Feel free to have a go at the sport-concept as well. ^.^ Again... 'tis brilliant. // Azvi.
  18. I'm not offended or anything that you like Demented's work more, 'tis understandable - so I'm saying the following in the friendliest manner possible: rather than wasting my rather limited amount of time, why don't you just contact Demented personally instead, and ask for a sig? Again, I took no offence in what you said. // Azvi.
  19. Move the cursor as high as you can, and a sub-menu will appear. Go to File > "Save image as...". :) // Azvi.
  20. Just try all the "save..." buttons, if you haven't already tried that, that is. :P As for the texture, I'm sorry, but I can't really help you there, since I only use the materials. // Azvi.
  21. I dont have Bryce on this computer. But to save it as .PNG or whatever, go "save image as..." or something similar to that. As for textures, I don't know - but you put materials to it by clicking on the arrow right next to the "EDIT" button. Hope that helped. // Azvi.
