Stole the words right out of my mouth. And the only saving grace you give these sigs are a picture. Imo, do you have to have a picture in every sig you make? And yes, the whole grunge crap i hate, its just an excuse to pour a bunch of brushes on a canavas, or perhaps on an abstract. That or merge like 50 billion abstracts together. Point in fact, they all look the same, and its easy as hell to do. Well said. Why is the "planet" bevelled? Remove it, as it looks awfully tacky. Also, when a planet is being sucked into something/a black hole... shouldn't the planet's atmoshpere leave like a flare/tail infront of it or something? And why the "planet" has an energy field around it is puzzles me... shouldn't that be affected as well? A bit of advice, remove the planet altogether, and remake it. Okay you are trying to tell me that you have never illegally downloaded/burned/share music, never used a student liscense of a program to make a sig, never used somebody's interpretation or school of thought without properly citing it, never made a sig inspired by someone elses work without giving them proper credit, etc. etc. etc...? yes, i do download music however BUT downloading music is legal but sharing however isn't, the law holds the sharer responsible, i never burned music however, i never used a student liscence of a program to make a sig and when i make a sig inspired by someone elses work i give him/her credit.. hope that answers your questions kthxbye Correction: it is now no longer legal to download either. The law changed after new year's. And for your information, most bands I listen to (i.e not money-hungry dopers) are perfectly fine with us downloading their music; they think it's good promotion. Ehh... right. IMO, they're all horrible. You used the same method in all of them it seems, they are all way too busy for my liking, and I absolutely hate that style. Text isn't good either: bevel & emboss + inner shadow = yawn. It wouldn't surprise me if you downloaded premade brushes for them either. I've seen way too many of these so-called "grunge" images already from people around here, thus it's beginning to become "somewhat" tiresome. Did you all read the same background- and text tutorial or what? ZzZzZzZz... // Azvi.

Not meaning to sound like a complete [wagon] here, but the only part I like with this piece, is the sky. It has a sort of depth I like. What irks me the most is that you basically only used premade brushes - granted, I have done that as well, but I don't no longer. And I personally think it's a real turn-off. The clouds look way too formal/repetitive (correct word?). Like, you can really see that you used the same brush almost.. I would make them a lot more "filled" near the bottom-left, and then sort of fade them to the right part. Not liking the font very much either... Other than that, I'm liking the concept.
