  1. No. Rethink that. He still had his sword wielded, and he had his fishing net he used to catch the fish. He also had the fish he caught.

You get the hidden stuff though? It's the lesser in the wizard tower, and it's coming for you. =) But thanks, I'm extremly pleased you like it.
  4. Ah thanks. =)

Ah, I pity you. Especially the mages. Believing you have any sort of magical power whatsoever. Are you kidding with me? You cast little spells that create little red bubbles and do a totally insignificant amount of damage. And the rangers? Don't get me started on the rangers. Oh, look at me, I'm going to hurl a blunt little iron shaped arrows stuck on a stick at you. Very interesting. So, you think you can imprison me huh? You think this tiny little cage with the magical protective barreir can stop me? Ah, I pity you, so very, very much. Well, soon it won't matter. Soon there will be no mages, no rangers, no more killing poor little demons. You see, I came form a long line of ecstatic little... Ehh, well, why don't I start from the beginning? You see, before all you players out there came, I was nothing but a little code. Random 0's and 1's together, forming a streaming line. But then, as the world of runescape became more complex, so did I. No longer just numbers, but words. Allright, truth be told, words that don't make much sense, but nearly everything else was like this in the creation stage. So then, as everything once more evolved, I got put aside. Changed to a weak monster, who had to teleport nearly everytime in a fight, simply because I'd be losing. Fiar enough Jagex, if that's the way it's gotta be. What they don't know is this: Once while perfoming one of my minor teleport spells, something snapped. My magical prowress twisted, and finally somehow unvieled itself. Many users nowadays would call this a "bug". I should think not. It was in my coding that I was destined to become something greater, for now I had simply been diverted into something small. But now, now my power was unleashed. The coding that held me to my weak form fell, and another took it's place. I moved my location, deep, deep into the wilderness. I figured I wouldn't be bothered much by other monsters there, for seldom do monsters other then the rats come into the wilderness, and they do nothing but perouse around the first levels or so. Not me. I hid, growing stronger and stronger, preparing ofor what I knew would happen. Release day. It was coming, the day of reckoning for all of runescape. The day the game would be released. Intent on showing the players who would soon come looking for prey to kill that I was not their friend, I began flexing myself. I could feel it. The day would be today. Then it happened, it had finally happened. The game was realeased, and players poured into it. But I figured I still had some time........ I lurked in the shadows, often leaving my home in the wilderness. I observed, saw the players play. It wasn't long before they discovered the powers of the wilderness. They fought each other, for it was malice and greed that turned them. Players were greedy people, they wanted all to themselves, and would stop at nothing to get it. Fools. When they should be exploring, investigating, finding out my lair so that I may slay them all.... They fight. Well, still I waited, till the faithful day when one of the players on the less intelligent end of the field would come and find me. Then it happened. But not the way I expected. I was on one of my patrols, and he saw me. He veered my way, saw my huge form, and stumbled a bit. He looked up, And I opened my mouth, so as to blow fire at him, just a sting, to scare him off. I liked to see humans run. But not this one. This one held his ground. I remember his name distinctly. lezima? elzima? Maybe not so disctinclty, but it was something like that. he fought me, and to my suprise, he was quite strong. He then took out some huge axe, and landed a massive blow on me, just as I was going to kill him. I as stunned, and just as I recovered, the mortal hit another! I was using regeneration spells as quickly as i could, But seemingly I could not match his power. I was stunned. My power was draining quickly. Suddenly, I saw another figure, and thought "ah, now I am saved. The two will fight and I will escape." To my utter displeasure, the other warrior (who was undoubtly a mage, displayed by his staff) was attacking me instead! I remember his name too. Old Night? Elder Knight? Something like that. However, moving on with the story. The two overcame me, and I attempted to flee. The two chased me, and, using the absolute last of my stored energy, I transformed myself into an imp. How queerly the two must have felt, expecting to see a supermassive giant being before their eyes, and finding only a small imp. They knew something was up. The warrior came to attack me, but gladly he hit quite low, and, tapping into my aura, I managed to teleport myself away. I was safe. No, I wasn't. For then, the game itself caught up with me. After weeks, weeks of endless waiting, gathering, storing..........I was done. The programmers caught on to what had happened, and imprisoned me into a cage, in a tower. I was still an imp then. I had very little power, and doubted I would ever again grow to a demon form. I was wrong. That's quite rare, I am a spectacular beast. Look at me today, in your famed wizard tower. Do I look like an imp now? No. No longer. However, I am merley a lesser, but I shall grow. I gurantee it, I shall grow. And then, I shall wreak havok on you all, and you will once again fear my name, my great name. I am the Anti, I am the Power. Fear me. ----------------------------------- This was the second short story I've ever written. Other Stories: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=492646 http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=504018
  6. I appeared outside a strange castle, fresh from the wizard that teleported me. I saw people all around, there were more here then were before. The castle looked fancy, but it seemed there was nobody inside, so instead I walk through to front, then I head to the north, where I encounter my first real monster. I slay him, pickup the bones, examine them, then bury them. Strange....... Nothing seems to have happened. Well, moving on. I decide to explore, and head south, for I thought of exploring a bit, and what better place to do that then a forest? I soon come upon some strange spiders, but they are easily dispatched. Moving further ahead I encounter what seems to be a tribe of goblins....but I see no leader. I deem them unworthy of my time. Just past that, I sot a road, and so I follow it. Well, I attempt to. See, there was this human...a jail guard. I ran away, he was hitting me quite badly. He would be disposed of later. I then reached the large city. There appeared to be a bank in it, so i went and quickly deposited all that I had. Ok...what now? I pondered for a bit, saw some trees below the bank, and went to cut them. Turns out I couldn't, for I had not the skill in woodcutting. That would change later on. I also spot some fishing spots, and take out my net. I bring my axe and tinderbox to start a fire as well. I fill my inventory, cut down a nearby tree, and eat some shrimp to restore my lost health. I start heading north, but the path cuts a turn...... So I decide to follow. I do, then the path reaches another turn... It seems the way north is more densily populated, and I had figured I had done enough exploring for a bit, so I headed into what I thought would be a little village. I walk into it, and find this "little village" to be a sprawling metropolis, and I saw my minimap loaded with dots everywhere. I moved to the west a bit, and suddenly, I saw something I never dreamed of. A huge line of people, with one person who looked quite powerful and had some sort of silly hat on his head. I accidently right clicked, and found I had the option to follow this great man. I did, and he led me, along with about 50 or so others, to a little bridge, didn't seem like there would be any harm. I followed him, and then we reached what seemed to be yet another palace, this one even grander then the last. It's beauty shown in it's stone, and I saw brave knights training outside. I would talk to them later, and see what they would tell me. Suddenly, random items started to appear on the ground. I scrambled, as did everybody else, and managed to pick up a few small items. Swords of iron and steel, A battleaxe of "mithril". Strange. I'd find out what these were used for later on. I began to lose interest, for I had not picked anything up for a while. I moved to a corner, to talk to a squire. Seemed like an unimportant person, quite like me. Perhaps we could start some sort of friendship? And then, I see the little hat then man was wearing pop in front of me, so strange. Yet, it seemed quite like a joke, and I did semi-like the way it shone on his head, leaving a little circle in the middle. It seemed like a toy crown. Very interesting, I know. I picked it up, and jauntily put it on my head. Suddenly, I was an extreme center of attention. There were now more people following me then the other man, who I had just noticed was quite baren, for he had dropped all he had. I followed him, and brought the entire troup with me. I bid him farewell, he smiled and said "have fun with it". What did he mean? The hat? Such a pointless hat, yet, so mysterious. Ah well, I kept it on my head. By now, there were dozens of people following me, and I knew there must be sometihng special about this hat. Many were yelling out "phat", and it seemed there were using some sort of slang. Well, I ran out of the city, bothered by so much attention, and tryed to retrace my steps to that little city I had encountered before. It didn't seem so big anymore. Interesting, I thought. Ah well. I thought of fishing, but then I decided to ignore it, and instead pay my friend the jailguard a visit. I entended on showing him my "phat" hat. But as I walked toward him, he started hitting me yet again. I attempted to run, as I was being slaughtered, but just then a chat screen popped up on my window, and when I went to look back, I had reappered in that first castle with the words "Oh dear you are dead!" etched into the botom of my screen. My first death. Well, from there I would learn, I suppose. I've got to pay more attention. I said that I had to go to my friend, closed the chat screen, and went on my way. Ah well, that was quite interesting for my first day. I least I still retained my more important items in the bank, thank goodness I had only lost that silly hat. Well, perhaps I shall encounter on another day. Till then, I'll log off for now. Post what you think, A short story I made up as I went along. Just trying to get the old brain working. :3> Whaddaya think?
  7. Don't worry man, everything will work out. Just keep at it. =)
  8. Yep, it makes sense. Not a bug.
  9. Have a very happy birthday. =)
  10. Me or tefda??
  11. The thing is, slayer doesn't actually comply with combat. I mean, it relates and all, but it has no effect on how high you hit, or how much damage you take. Although, now, it's starting to sound like many of you think slayer si combat, so I'll add that in. Still taking any suggestions.
  12. Yes, this is a power training spot, but there are better ones....... :wall: keeping silent though. :shame:
  13. My runescape name is lucas_x, if any of you have some suggestions and would rather not put them up on the board. Priv is always on. =)
  14. Thanks guys. I Think I'll keep runecrafting as a base skill, and I'll add crafting as a refinary skill. And I also think I'll add thieving into base production. Only reason I didn't put hitpoints into combat was because........I forgot. XD Well, I've got that down. I'll also add slayer into combat. I thought about making a new catagory, Member. Sort of the extra skills that don't seem to fit entirely into any one of the catagories. These include agility, slayer, and thieving. I'll also add firemaking into refinary.
  15. Brazil. ^_^ Theres actually a lotta brazilian players, world 42 and 41 are their homeworlds.
  16. Ah, you're right. That was dumb >_< Thank you for catching that, I fixed it now.
  17. Skills ==== There are a total of 22 skills in runescape. These can be divided into several catagories. Let's start with Base Supply. Base Supply ========= Base Supply is what drives the entire economy of runescape. It's the raw materials harvested from the world of runescape that is in some way useful to the players. Items gained from base supply technically have no monetary value to runescape itself, but these can be alched, or sold to other players. Good examples of a base supply skill are woodcutting, fishing, farming, and mining. Runecrafting and thieving can also be classified as a base supply skill. Refinary ====== Refinary skills are skills used to do exactly what they are named after, refining. These are the skills that are used to take an item gained form a base supply skill and refine it, so as to make it worth more money to other players or to better aid the player in some way. This can be something such as cooking, which enables us to take a base supply item, for this instance let's say a lobster, and refine it so that we may eat it, which allows us to gain health back. It is typical for a base supply skill to also have a refinary skill at its side. Mining has smithing, farming has herblore ( this may be argued to a point, but many consider farming an excellent skill for gathering herbs), woodcutting has fletching, and cooking has fishing. Magic is NOT the refinary skill for runecrafting. Crafting is an all around skill with no single base supply. Firemaking is a refinary skill in that it enables us to take logs and create a fire for cooking, and also allowing us to light up light-sources. Combat ====== Next up is combat. Now, combat is not a skill itself, but is a mix of several skills which enable the player to fight monsters in order to achieve higher levels, wear armor which enables them limited protection from many monsters and even fight their fellow players in the wilderness. The combat skills are (in random order) Hitpoints, Attack, Strength, Defense, Magic, and Range. Prayer is also a part of combat. Other Information ============ So let's take a quick look at a chart here shall we? Base Supply - Woodcutting Mining Fishing Farming Runecrafting Thieving Refinary - Fletching Smithing Fishing Herblore Crafting Firemaking Combat - Hitpoints Attack Strength Defence Magic Range Prayer Now, here is the part you can help me with. Please offer any suggestions/comments/concerns that you might possibly have, and please, this is the important one, listen up: Help me figure out where all the other skills should go!
  18. What do you think would look good? Please and Thank you! ^^
