Try coal to get the hang of it. Buy 1k 150 ea (usually around fally) then get to varrok and sell it for 170 ea. Or merchant full rune when you get it.

Only members are allowed to obtain trimmed armor. Non-members may buy it from them. Members get it from treasure trails, sort of like a miniquest.

But curse requires much more clicking then fire strike... Fire strike can autocast. Anyways, I'd rather use the edgy one. Faster, and you'll only lose a couple runes or ess when you die. No biggie.

For f2p, I'd say rune scimmy. Fast and decently powerful, it'll do for you. But p2p, obviously d scimmy. =)
