That seemed like more of a fluke than anything. Not very badass.
  3. dude they didn't even pat me down, which is mandatory before strip search. so your in your little strip search world and im just telling my stroy, i dont need you flaming me over something im still quite upset about. this only happend 4months ago btw You got embarassed so you sued. It's not like they tackled you to the ground and broke something, you were just embarassed, and to some people getting embarassed doesn't mean you should be getting large amounts of money. Yeah, but hey! We can make money sueing anything today! Its such a great way, why not sue over the littlest thing? I mean, lets say you take a bus, on that bus you have say... coffee. The bus has to stop suddenly, and you spill your coffee on yourself. SUE! Even though it was clearly your fault, you can still sue.
  4. There are three actions we can take: 1. Kill them 2. Throw them overboard 3. Both I say number 3 Kill them, incinerate the body, put ashes in a wieghted airtight container, throw container overboard. You can never be too careful. That would be a waste of a container and fuel, I say we throw the bodies off the bow (front of the boat.) there is a high chance that the boat will push the bodies under water, and when they reach the propellers they will get sliced up. [/hide] Wouldn't it be a better use of said fuel if we just floated in one place, only moving (consuming fuel) in event of an emergency? Anyways, I'm for #3. The problem is with currents the ship will drift, so we will need to keep moving the ship lest we end up in shallow water and get beached. :ohnoes: Which truly wouldn't matter, because no matter how many zombies there are they aren't climbing 20 feet up the smooth side of a ship. Raiders.
  5. I'm 5'8" and I sure as hell don't consider myself short. Yeah, because its you. Though at some point, you're bound to consider yourself short when you're around some people.

This lady? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uma_Thurman She's just an actress... EDIT: I AM MISTAKEN! SHE PLAYED IN GATTACA AND PULP FICTION. SHE IS AWESOME BY MY STANDARDS BUT SHE STILL DOESN'T MAKE MOST BADASS. Yes, but the people who have seen Kill Bill would know what I mean. Seen parts, didn't look very badass. And AceBeam, it doesn't matter what he did, he did it to survive.
  7. Dude seriously?! They see a guy with a bulge in his pants and this it's a weapon? yup most humiliating day of my life but atleast i got 10k cash outta it :D People like you make me sick. They were doing their [bleep]ing job, they had a reason to suspect you were attempting to smuggle drugs.
  8. Quiet. He might hear you. Its like he has a 6th sense for this sort of thing.
  9. Infact, you don't have any of that hyped up [cabbage]. Stop wasting time.
  10. Pimped indeed. Nice man bag. I see you've also conformed to the "indie" "pop" "punk" label. I wouldn't say it's exactly that, more like random badges Rachael can get her hands on... In doing so, you conformed to those labels. Besides, I wouldn't say it was randomly. Randomly picking would involve sticking your hand into a mixture, taking some, and sticking with them. You choose them because you liked the look of them most likely.
  11. Yeah, its even worse for the hospitals because of the media. Since this can be beaten with normal flu remedies, and a good immune system, the people who really need the medical care are the elderly and the very young. But thanks to media hype, we'll now have everybody and their grandmother panicking, thinking they have it when they may have just a common cold/ordinary human flu, since the symptoms are somewhat the same. So yeah, [bleep] the media.

Yeah, I was disappointed by the lack of violence, but the last fight was pretty awesome, so that made up for it. [hide=Here be spoilers]Yeah, but I still don't get how XI died, as it appears he did. I mean, lets face it, he only got his neck cut, which should have healed. Pure decapitation would have been required. Plus, since he had the same skeleton as Wolverine, he would have easily survived the building collapsing on him. Really, it makes no sense. Plus the thing collapsed inward, so how did a chunk of it start falling onto Wolverine? He did jump outward afterall. Oh, and can you describe how he got into the place where he found out his wife was still alive? I missed that cause I needed a piss.[/hide]

Today, it was my cousin's birthday. Well, technically yesterday, but we went down to our Granparent's today to celebrate it. I really didn't need to go, but hey, its family. So at about 5:50, my Uncle and I go up town to see the 7:15 showing of Xemn Origins: Wolverine. Pretty good film, though I was disappointed at the lack of bloody violence. This is what happens when it is done with a 12A (Pg-13) rating in mind. I'd prefer it if it had been a 15 ®, but hell, it was still a good film, the violence wouldn't have improved it, but, I don't know. Wolverine in his own film, you kind of expect bloody violence.
  14. Platinum just came out in March so we probably won't get Pokemon Hydrogen and Oxygen (Yes, I'm predicting they will resort to the periodic table for the next game titles) until 2011. They already have. Platinum is an element, Pt. I can't wait for Pokemon Francium! Its been awhile but... Isn't diamond pure carbon? Just a slightly different makeup of carbon than graphite/whatever making it extremely solid? So that way, the first element would have been Diamond. But its been a few years since I needed to know that [cabbage]. You both forgot Silver and Gold versions :-w [cabbage]... Well, I guess we all feel stupid now.

  16. GitS isn't for everyone. Hell, nothing is. I don't see why someone can hate someone over something as trivial as this. And, regarding the films, I find Innocence at bit hard to watch at times. Its too much focus on the philosopical side at times, which after watching a couple times, just gets a little boring.
  17. Look, it does not matter if the drug was Ibuprofen, marijuana, or meth. If they seriously need to fix a headache problem every nurse I've been to since middle school had her own supply of Tylenol. There is no reason for anybody to bring any form of drug into the school. Works differently here. Essentially, if we needed something, we'd have to go down to the school office, and its likely they have to call home to check with your parents. Waste of friggin' time since they do it EVERY time. Its even more inconvient when the parents are out, as they have to try other contact numbers. Of course, its not just the parents they ask, essentially they basically, last year they had asked me if my sister was allowed to take a certain medication, I forget which. At this time I was 16. I essentially said it was alright for her to take it because I knew my parents allowed her to. Thats basically what they asked, if I knew she was allowed to take it by parental permission. Its [bleep]ed up, and its easier if the kids can take meds, just get the parents to supply meds to the kids and provide them with a note if they get caught, or a note which they have to provide to the school on that day. Seems alot easier than the kid missing class time.
  18. God, that is so damn annoying. If they want to keep Ali Larter in the damn show, stop killing her off and start keeping the characters for longer.
  19. First or Second season, I forget which. Jessica was the second sister, and was the victim of child abuse, which brought about her death. The Jessica in Nikki's mind was her sister, which mainly manifested itself when she was a victim of abuse. At least, thats how I interperated and remember it.
  20. Ah, I see your point there. Anyway, I started reading the Lucky Star manga, its pretty good actually. Definately seems worth checking out in either form. And honestly, I don't think Elfen Lied would be if it didn't have violence and nudity (the anime) as it seemed to be pretty big in the manga at times. Though just wondering, are the "lesbian" (no better word) secens in the anime aswell? Not exactly something big, more to do with Nyu's innocence, but I'm just wondering anyway.
  21. It would be anyways. :P In my eyes, most of my schoolwork is half-assed crap because I don't feel like putting that much effort into it and would rather just get it over with - yet it's still usually better quality than the work of my peers. Can't say the same for mine, but I can say this. At least it eventually gets handed in. Though looking at it, if I wasn't in a hurry to finish it, I'd be more worried about what to put in it. I preform better under stress tbh.
  22. Out of them, I have only read Death Note. Riku, how would you class Death Note as an action type? It was more comparable to GitS, well, if you took out the action in GitS. But yeah, try branching out a little before you judge all anime. You really need to try a few different types before you can judge. (And while I'm at it, try watching Elfen Lied, its only 13 episodes, but contains alot of violence and nudity, judging by the manga anyway, which I doubt they took out, but again, its downfall is, it is short, the ending in it is different from the manga (I cried a little to be honest))
  23. Though its generally half-assed crap. To be honest, I procastinate too much when it comes to English. I've done 5 Critical Essays for it. These are out of 25. 11,11,11,12,17. See the problem? They were all done the night before, and were often in late too. Yes, I have completely procastinated and did it a day before I hand it in, when it was late. The last one there was on the poem "Wind", I did that in 45 minutes the night before, while reading TIF. I had the notes infront of me and everything, which included some analysis. To be honest, it was the only one I typed, the rest were hand written, and I suck at that, I'm slow at writing, plus my writing is small which takes a little longer than others. (I average around 17-20 words per line). Whenever, I had Geography homework, I left that to the night before aswell. But thats the one class I'm easily passing. I have revised for it at all, and am getting all As (I think mostly band 2s), hell even when I thought I [bleep]ed up on the second prelim, I still got an A (band 2). Maths, well generally, if its a Wednesday/Thursday, I just leave the homework for my Study Periods, its mainly redoing questions from past exam papers, and often around 5-6 of them, easy. French, I'll admit, I need to really study before the exam, it has the worst turnout for homework. I don't know why though. So really, don't procastinate, and leave it to the night before. It may save you time, but you never do that well as you just rush through it without putting deeper thought into it.

I'll admit, that made me laugh. As for the Chicken crossing the road thing, isn't it more accurate that they cross the road to peck at gravel on the other side?
  25. What animes have you tried? Also, if they are not for you, try reading the mangas, they are easier to understand, and some have more content than the animes (i.e. have stuff they miss out on in hte anime, Elfen Lied for example)
