Well, I can give a generalisation on Neds, which as have been said are basically Scotish chavs. Some of it will have been said before. Neds are the scum of society. They will hang around streets in an amount of typically 5+. Abuse will be thrown at you, and they smoke/drink. The preffered drink of Neds is normally Buckfast, or something, because its cheap you see. Alot of Neds also generally have ASBOs or at least have been in trouble with the law. The solitary ned is no problem, really, they're not as big as they make out to be, and will use weapons against you, normally a bottle (which will be thrown) or a knife. The main problem is that whenever there is a group of them, it will never be a 1 v 1 fight (or a "square go") but really, they'll all jump in. Oh, and they tend to live in the poorer areas of cities. So yeah, thats probably the best generalisation I can do.
