  1. That picture was taken a long time ago in the Shade cave in Mort'ton. After Piety, he went back and hit a 110 (The highest level Shades only have 110 HP). I have heard that someone has hit 120, but I haven't seen pictures of that.

  2. The sceptre can take you to 3 different places: The mummy at the start of Pyramid Plunder, the Agility Pyramid, and the DT Pyramid. You only get 3 uses before it needs to be recharged and it can only be recharged with artefacts you get in Pyramid Plunder. Since you need to do Pyramid Plunder anyway to get the stuff to recharge the Sceptre, I would recommend doing some Plundering to stock up on gold artefacts and see if you get lucky enough to get a Sceptre at the same time.

  3. I like the general idea. You have 2 things here that I have always wanted: A slayer gem attached to your outfit (really thought this was going to happen with the jewelry update) and a Black Mask effect for Mages and Rangers.

However I have quite a few problems with your specifics. First the levels are way too low. You max out at level 50, even though that is only 1/130 of the total XP needed to get to 99. I like a lot of your ideas, but you definitely need to raise the level requirements, otherwise too many of them are overpowered.

Also another thing to consider is the value of the mask. Currently Black Masks alch for 2gp. Needless to say, when you die, you always lose your mask. These new masks are going to be untradable which usually have an alch value of 0gp. If I attach an onyx to something, I don't want to automatically lose that item if I die.

  4. You have to be 2x the monsters level + 1 for aggressive monsters to not automatically attack you. For example, a level 40 monster will be non-aggressive towards you once you reach level 81.

  5. For the first greegree just kill any monkey in Karamja, for example. Then, for a Ninja Greegree kill an archer, for a Gorilla Greegree kill one of them in the temple, and for a zombie Greegree kill one in the Marim Dungeon.

For the Archer: How do you kill it? :XD: They're always surronded my lots of other monkeys. :XD:

Use Range protect prayer and range or mage an archer monkey. I think you need telegrab to get the bones. If you go to the east, there will only be one monkey that is shooting at you.

  6. If you are using prayer or Verac's special, you are training on something too hard. For normal combat, if you are going to use Barrow's armor, you are just using it for it's defence and Verac has the lowest defense of all 4 melee brothers. So that is why people don't use Verac for normal melee training.

  7. If i'm going to get full torags should i sell my dragon platelegs, dragon med helm, and granite plate?

Keep them. When you are fighting lower leveled monsters it's overkill to use Barrows armor. Although there are several helmets that are better than D Med, and cheaper too.

  8. well...i asked jagex and about a week later they came back with this reply

    "Greetings Scorpaeon,

    Thank you for contacting Jagex.

I have spoken to the wise wizard here in Jagex Castle, he tells me that the creatures in the dungeons of Player Owned Houses should indeed drop the same loot as the wild versions of the same creature.

That just doesn't seem right. There is no danger in killing things in your house so there should be no reward.

  9. As a programmer, it makes a lot more sense to determine the drop after the person has killed it (so that things like Ring of Wealth can be taken into effect). But only Jagex knows for sure.

  10. Power-Farming is very expensive. Most people do it by mainly growing Watermelons, Palm Trees, Magic Trees, and Calquats. Use Tip.it's calculator to find how many you need from your starting level and get the prices from Zybez. There is no way to reliably get any of these seeds in any decent quantity, so you would have to buy them all yourself. Things you can do to help offset the costs are:

Do Manage Thy Kingdom and set 10 workers on Maples (gets ~9 nests per day)

Kill the Giant Mole (Get 2-5 nests per kill)

Woodcut with a Rabbit's Foot Necklace.

  11. I think that we are reading too much into this. As someone quoted a mod, the tasks don't have to be easy, medium, and hard. We are basing this off of one example. Personally, as a high level, I hope they do add some high level content. The only times I visit Varrock are the rare times I'm smithing and when I want to sell something on World 1.

  12. I've made a lot of money off Herblore, it was even my main money maker for quite a while. Unfortunately times have changed and a lot of the money-making ways have dried up. And Herblore is not a get-rich-quick skill, especially not at lower levels. The best thing that I can recommend is to work on Farming and Slayer. Slayer monsters are great for their Herb and/or Herb Seed drops. Unfortunately, both of those skills are even slower than Herblore.
