I suggest a sticky for a Background check forum that clan leaders can use to check on new members, find out what clans they've laready been in, and if they've been cooperative in the past or if they were kicked out because they were rebellious. I have it posted in the Clan Recruitment area with more reasons.

In other words they're two free wildernes capes you don't have to wear and limit your ability to attack people that decide to limit their risk by joining one side. Sorry, I don't support this.

I like this idea! No, this wouldn't be a password, it's a seperate precaution. Unfortunatly I disaggree on one point, like the idea of having to click the numbers instead of typing them in, that way keyboard hackers can't read it. That's why bank PINS are clicking numbers.

Two other places I've noticed have alot: 1. Karamja Fishing Spot 2. Draynor by the bank.

Personnally I think it should be listed along with the stats, and maybe add a little to total level.

Ok, I've been hearing differant things from differant people, some say he was able to kill without getting warned by a mod until his account was locked, others say he was repeatedly told to stop. TheRat, you talked to him, what's the REAL story.

It's too late for a rollback now, it was too late for a rollback an hour after the "massacre" started. Maybe if someone had reported it sooner, or if action had been taken sooner, say 30minutes, things would be ok. Darial did what any PKer would have done, and many PKers did do, and that's attack everyone. The only thing that I would say would be out of control was if he was luring and baiting people. Other than that, most people would have done, and did, what he was doing.

I didn't here about the part where he lured people, that changes things! If he was luring people he should be banned, but there were many more people that were PKing outside the wildy without luring people. Those people shouldn't be banned.

I still don't think he should be banned forever, he can't break that rule again! That's why people are banned, so they don't continue to break the rules, but he can't break any more!

While i don't think he should be banned forever, i must say that i don't think that video game cheats apply to runescape. Video Game cheats are built in, and they do not affect anyone else. Runescape cheats aren't built in, and they affect many people.

I'm sure most people would love to wreck havoc in falador, it would be too easy! Ok, once more: the only reason Durial is being singled out is because he has a MOVIE and an INTERVIEW and he is TALKING ABOUT IT. What I want to know is where are the other people that were wrecking havoc? At lest Durial is coming out and admitting it.[/code]

Don't like it, too many people would become addicted to gambling. ALSO, Jagex has tried to set runescape up where you have to work for money and make it so luck never comes into play, that's why they stopped doing tradable holiday items. AND ONE LAST THING: I think i could destroy the econamy depending on what happens

Wow, I think you trust human nature a little too much :roll: I'm sure if you were put in this situation the first thing that would come to mind would be "This is a bug in the game, i shouldn't abuse it!", no one would think that. Well, maybe a player mod would, but obviously they didn't as soon as most think because it still took them over an hour to do something. Not to bash player mods or anything, they do their jobs well, just saying that even they hesitated a little. AND let's not forget, Durial wasn't the only person doing this. I may sound like i'm repeating myself, which i guess i am, but the only reason his case is the one we're talking about is because he had a movie and in interview done. THERE WERE TONS OF PEOPLE DOING IT. I'm SURE they are all under the age of twelve :roll:

Don't like it, partly because it would make it too easy for low levels to raise their stats, and partly because then the deep wilderness would have no point, you'd go up to level 30 and then it's worthless. Also prevents some good PKing.

a few more points: 1. Wasn't he already in faladore by the party? I thought that's where he was when he found the glitch. 2. The only reason we're singling him out is because he had a movie and an interview about the "massacre", there are plenty of other people who did it. 3. He isn't a threat to runescape anymore since HE CAN'T DO IT AGAIN! This was a one-time thing! People are supposed to be banned to stop them from breaking the rules constantly, but he can't break them anymore! I don't know know his previous offences against Jagex, but if this is his first one or an early offence lock his account for a few weeks and let him back on!

Lets put ourselves in Durial's position: I am a pretty good level, i could take these people down, too bad they aren't in the wilderness, look at all the party hats! Whoa, hey, that guy was just attacked, where's the swarm? That's not a swarm, wow hey, i can PK everyone!!!! Let's face it, if we were there there are two main points: 1) We would love to have all that stuff! 2) "Bug Abuse" would be the farthest thing from our minds, how many people would think 'oh know, this is a bug, i better not do anything'? We wouldn't even think of bug, we'd think of "NOW IT'S REALLY PARTY TIME!" I'm notcompletely for him being free though, he should be punished, but i say they should just lock his account for a few weeks then let him back on the game.

Ok, I'm a level 76 combat with an embarrasing problem: my ranging is only 27. How can I train this fast while using my higher HP and defence than usual for a 27 ranging to my advantage?

I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this, but why not use usergroups as guilds for differant skills? Any member of the Miners Guild would be in a usergroup made for Miner's, and they could have their own forum to talk on. Same with Fishing, Magic, Ranging, and other skills.
