Many players who play the game a lot will have filled up their banks over that time with items that are, if not worthless, are certainly not worth selling as no-one buys them. Jagex has given these items a value in the GE which is totally unrealistic. There are many examples of these eg: Almost all scrolls, Addy Javelins, Red Salamanders etc. Now you could sell these to a shop for a fraction of what they are supposed to be worth, you could just drop them, or you could keep them, build them up and use them in the future for Junk trading. This "Junk" then becomes a new currency as the person that sells the item for GE price + junk will then use this junk for their next big item purchase. The only problem with it is - who now knows an items real worth?

The major drop in people playing is indeed interesting but what does it mean? - Are people taking a couple of days out to see what difference the changes will make or are people really quitting? One thing is for sure, it is not a drop in the number of bots. For the swines out there that are RWTing and caused these updates the money is good, darn good and they will keep milking the cow until it runs dry. That means that the bots will still be there for at least another 10 to 15 days. What will be interesting is the number of people who do not renew their memberships in the coming days / weeks.

I am not a PKer myself but for me the game is still ruined. Apart from PKing think about many of the other things that many people in RS do. Quite a lot of people enjoy merchanting (judging by the fact that World 2 is always full) - but not any more. As the value of an inventory of Laws is a lot more than an inventory of Ess, there will be no more Law Running, or any other kind of Rune for that matter. Fletchers will no longer be able to trade 1k strung bows for 1k logs and 1k bow strings as the value difference will be more than 3k. The same will go for Cookers / Fishers. No more will you be able to trade reasonable amounts of Raw fish for cooked. I suppose that people will adapt and it will encourage you to train your Wood Cutting with your Fletching or your Cooking with your Fishing but for many people this will be a huge change. Personally I started playing RS because my young son wanted to play. I developed my character, made some GP here and there, got a few nice drops now and again and passed a lot of it over to him to help him along. Is that so wrong? I cant see myself quitting as I am hooked and I guess that in time I will adapt to the new ways but for now like a lot of people I am not happy and I thought that as a customer one of Jagex's main duties was to keep its customers happy.

The quickest way I have found to get Prayer up is to kill Hill Giants and bury big bones. Moss Giants are good too as they have better drops

In my opinion, getting one skill to lvl 99 is silly. You need to do 2 at a time. The quickest I would say would be Fly Fishing & Cooking Then Wood Cutting and Fletching. Fly Fish in Shilo Village and Cook it in Catherby Wood Cutting and Fletching in Seers. Hope this helps

Your method is fine, but I cast it on the Zombies in the sewer - if you do happen to cast successfully then there is always another zombie to aim at. Best of luck.

It would depend on your combat levels more than your slayer level really. I am level 26 slayer and find the guy in Canafis to be good. Regards

Someone help a noob out here please. I got one of these last night. The guide says I can have it enchanted by a guy in Catherby for 40,000gp to make it a Mystic Staff - "one of the best magical items in the game" - so it says. I can find what the battle staff does - basically like a Staff of Fire but also a weapon equal to a Rune Long Sword - but cannot find anything about what this Enchanted Mystic Staff does. Any ideas TIA

Can someone help out a noob here please. From what I can see, Lobbies seem to be the food of choice for healing up and people pay 150 - 250Gp each for them. But - Lobbies heal 12 HP and you have to take it all in one go. Why dont people use Chocolate Cake? They take up the same inventory space, but heal 15 HP and can be taken in 3 chunks of 5Hp each Sorry to be so thick. TIA

But High Alching Steel plate is only worth 1200Gp as opposed to 2500 minumum from selling the steel bars. High Alching is fine if you are trying to get the levels up, but if it is cash you want - sell steel bars. It can be boring mining so many ores, but it is very profitable
