Ever since I started RuneScape, I've always thought the thieving skill was immoral. Thieving is stealing. Stealing is wrong. Yes, stealing, pickpocket, etc, might have been a big part of the middle ages, but do we really need a skill out of it? What does it teach younger players? Now, I'm not saying we should remove the skill, it's been in there since RSC and would have too much of an impact. Perhaps we could at least rename it? "Stealth" for breaking ancient locks... for non-malicious tasks (Legends Quest, Desert Treasure). And maybe make it so when you get the random event watchman while theiving (which would then NOT give xp), you are blacked out with his mace, sent to jail, and must use stealth to pick the lock, and either sneak past or kill the watchman to get out. The above paragraph's probably a bad idea... but the main thing is... does anyone else think the same about Thieving in RuneScpae being immoral?

hi, im trying to find the max hit of all dragons. i think theres a formula relating to their melee max hit (which is hitpoints / 10 on most monsters). heres the data i got so far, tell me if you think it sounds right and whats the highest youve been hit by what dragon (no shield/potion/pray) MULTIPLIER = 6.2, 5.7, 5.2, 4.7, 4.2 Green/Elvarg 8 49.6 Blue 11 62.7 Red 14 72.8 Black 20 94.0 KBD 25 105.0 MULTIPLIER = 3.7 Bronze 12 44.4 Iron 18 66.6 Steel 24 88.8 EDIT: that sound better? btw metal drags make sense since 3.7 follows the pattern sorta...

magic level + magic pot(4 levels, if any) / 10 + 10 = max hit for example 50 divided by 10 = 5, plus 10 is 15.

I was thinking, maybe there's a way to see what weapon is technically 'better' than another... and I came up with this formula (melee weapons only ATM): pow1 = The highest offense bonus (stab, slash or crush) pow2 = Strength bonus s = speed in seconds ((pow1)*(pow2))/(s) Basically... 1.Highest offense bonus x strength bonus, and that number divided by the weapon's speed in seconds. For example if highest offensive bonus (lets use whip). 82 (str bonus) times 1.82 (slash bonus). if it was dh's gaxe, 105 (str) x 2.03 (slash). Yes indeed, he has a limit to how much he will bet. Besides, do you think a common guard would have 10M to bet away? He's an NPC, of course he does lol.

I'm doubting the claws. Rune claws already have the special..unfortunatly :( I want a war hammer, I bet that would hit pretty hard. Short sword would be useless, unless it has a good spec, as someone said already, pick axe..sure, why not? Mine your roon faster. Dragon arrows..we can't smith dragon, so maybe if we get tips as a drop or reward for something? Good idea, maybe pest control for arrowheads? 15 per point maybe? That would seem like a pretty good ratio to me.

Dark is simply what Tip.It calls it. Most people call them Barrow gloves. And who knows? Maybe barrows armor and weapons are made from a material called 'dark'?

hopefully. i had been expecting part 5 or 6 ofplague city to let us into prifddinas. hopefully the july BTS will say the words ME-III/Plague City 7 and "You can now enter Prifddinas!!!!" if it dont ill be very very disappointed

This is a crude map I have made of Piscatoris' location, according to the coordinates I got by using a sextant, watch and chart. Thanks to DevilSeto for the Piscatoris Map, Rune Tips for the Lighthouse Area cutout for positioning, and Jagex for the RuneScape world map. Now... do you think this land is connected to that mysterious mountainous mainland, or is it an island whose border is just past the minimap's reaches? I think it's connected because of its geographical structure. It wouldn't spread out at the bottom were it an island. Could Piscatoris be in any involvement with Plague City Part 7 and does the west coastline of Isafdar meet Piscatoris'? Post your thoughts and opinions.
