Not everyone can be as good as you with photoshop and stuff so how about you stop with the wise guy talk and post something contructive rather than flaming everything anyone does.

Been listening to Ayreons album The Final Experiment and thought i'd make a picture based on one of the songs Eyes of Time. Took me quite a while to make it using well over 20 layers. I hope you like it. Rate and CC welcome plz. Its PHOTO MANIPULATION thats the whole point.

Actually lp, thats not really vector. thats just anti aliased. You cant have true vector when exported inito a jpg or gif only the look fo one. You can with flash however. Note in my example the difference in the lines. the top line is pixel the second true vector. note how the quality never changes only the size http://img387.imageshack.us/my.php?image=line2chswf

Cant really help you there. In order to access it you would have to change the security and access settings. We cannot help you with this, sorry. read a magazine/book instead. why dont you help out with your mums work, im sure theres some admin work that you could help with. I can always find work for temps in my office.

See :P More percentage of the canvas is now taken up with good stuff rather than large areas of plain and boringness.

You got scanlines AND squares wuich looks odd. Bit too much overlay lines if you know what i mean Colours are very dull tho and pale. No emotions in this sig The right hand side looks really good but the left is a bit plain Text looks a bit pixxely and boring too. and why do you make all your sigs 300x150. Its not the law to make them that size and a plain sig such as this would look so much better in a smaller size

The backgrounds are good, albeit very basic. The colours are good and I like the textures used. They certainly look a lot better than most of the grungy/abstract attempts done here. Try and use less of the render > clouds those and more brush work which is poretty good so far. 1 This is quite good, i like the background and the placement of the text is good. I'm not going to moan at you for using a render in your sig but it hasnt been blended in very well. Theres a horrible back and yelloyish pixxely line around the image and it just looks like its been pasted on. You havnt really manipulated the image to blend in. 2 really liking the background on this. Its a bit monotoneish but its still really look. Liking the patches of black and especially the dirty scan lines. Nice. Text looks odd anti-aliased, its not a pixel font i know biut it is quite small and looks blurry at such a small font size. The Master Chief is better in this one in that it doesnt have a sharp edge but you have blured him in a bit too much in places such as the helmet. again no manipulation has been done on the image itself. 3 Great background and the subtle animation changing colour looks great. You do need to work on potimising your animattions tho because i dont like sigs that are 500k, its unneccesary. Pixel font is all blurry and looks bad, sharpen that up next time. try and keep consistent. render has a horrible brown outline again, try and get rid of these imperfections next time, make me belive hes stood in that scene not badly cut and pasted. 4 The rpg fighting animation whatever in sig 4 is awful tho. I mean who really wants a 1mb file loading under a simple post in a forum. The small font in the bottom corner looks really blurry too. The background is great tho, if only you used somehting else instead of that awful animation 5 Excellent background and interesting placement of the character sticking out. Looks really cool. Text is good but a bit small. Try and increase the fonts in some of your signatures. Overall Pretty good, your backgrounds are great but you really need to work out some better ways of blending in stock pictures so they dont look so pasted in. Less of the filterpiles and more brushes will also be good. Perhaps stop using premade pics in any of your sigs and instead fill the space up with some great looking text instead of clicḫ̩̉̉ pixel fonts.
