  1. I think one of the reasons I lvl so slowly is that I enjoy the game too much. I'm not the kind of person to buy a bunch of things just to lvl. I cut all my own wood to fletch, make my own planks, ect. The only think I buy is weapons, armor, and runes that I can't make yet.
  2. I have been thinking about this lately. I'm lvl 67 and I have some decent gear though nothing insane. I had someone the other day call me a low level player! Now, I know I don't level as fast as many as I don't get to play very often "little more lately", but I've been a member for almost 2 years and I hardly consider myself a noob. Any thoughts on this?
  3. I think I should get some money because even though I bust my butt to level I have never had the funds to power level. As a result I've got a lot of skills left behind. :(
  4. AMEN TO THAT. Yesterday some noob dumped all of our barricades on the wall and kept reinstalling them as we blew them up. Why oh why?
  5. Wow, it is true! So why spend the insane amount of money on it? Strange move Jagex.
  6. I heard that as well. but I think it's just a rumor and I couldn't find Jagex saying anything about it.
  7. If someone says "bank sale 150k!" Don't trade with them when you only have 35k just to see what they've got.
  8. LOL. How can you embrace logic, denounce science, and invoke religion all in the same argument. Your argument is not cogent. You forget the laws of nature. Sure our brains are a function of quantum wave form collapse, but they still function by a set of root laws (quantum mechanics) and donâââ‰â¢t need some spooky god figure to give them meaning. Why do we need to invoke faith and the supernatural just to embrace that just maybe our thoughts mean something? Why must we assume that we need a god to have a purpose? Youâââ‰â¢re argument is only logical from your own viewpoint of âââ¬ÃâOur thoughts are like the wind. Utterly useless if one denies the supernatural.âââ¬Ã
  9. I appreciate the search effort but unfortunately this proves nothing but a gross misunderstanding of geology. This is interesting that you site the magnetic shift as a result of the global flood. Even assuming that there was enough water in the atmosphere to cover the entire planet âââ¬Ãâthere is notâââ¬Ã
  10. Yep, thats why whole cities with people inside are still underwater....and why people still find fish on top of mountians. The flood infact messed up the layers, that scientists use to figure out how old their little fossils are (when not using carbon dating). Your going to say, well the layers settled like that over millions of years...tell me this why are there stone trees "growing" (petrafied) upward through millions of years of build up? They didnt cross the sea? Any evidence? If your talking about 666 then that was supposdly the number of Nero who kill many hundreds (thousands?) of christians. Ok let me start off by saying that Iâââ‰â¢m not some 12 year old kid and Iâââ‰â¢m the last person the creation crowd wants to see on this thread as one of my pet peeves is bad science and I LOVE to debate this stuff. I assure you, you will not find an individual more well versed on either side of this argument on this forum. So that said, lets get started. Evolution is proven - Evolution is called a theory because everything that is arrived at through quantitative analysis in considered a theory. Gravity is technically a theory. The truth is that you do not question gravity because gravity has no religious ramifications. The amount of proof for evolution is staggering. Does that mean that every singe part of the theory is perfect? No. But the general premise of evolution through natural selection is and will remain cogent from this day forward despite any tweaks to specific sections of knowledge. The world is NOT young âââ‰â¬Å Flood geology is NOT REAL. Not a single flood geology theory has been submitted to a peer reviewed journal and survived; all were proven false in short order. There is not one single item of valid evidence that the earth is young or that there was a worldwide deluge. Radio carbon dating as a whole is valid despite isolated odd results due to contaminated samples âââ¬Ãâwhich are quickly identified as faulty and are really quite rareâââ¬Ã
  11. It's great people are scrambling to the banks and running everywhere. It's like WW3 started in runescape
  12. This is pure insanity. I'm near a bank so I think I'm going to log in, go naked, and watch the carnage.
  13. Ya Fixed. Just tested it.
  14. In all fairness, there are many more players than there are testers. I'm sure that no matter how good an update looks, players will find some loophole or error that the testers didn't encounter.
  15. Yes you can use other peoples stuff, as long as they let you
  16. WTF? At Least it worked out ok. Man....... I think I'm going to leave my crap at the bank for a while. POHs are waaay to risky right now.
  17. It Means "Player Owned Homes"
  18. I bet that bug will be fixed soon :( I bet that you are supposed to be able to ignore them so they don't leave if you don't have the cash to pay them that instant, but I'm sure they are not supposed to keep working.
  19. its probably because jagex want to ruin the merchanters, since thats not the goal of the game, but skilling is It ruined bad merchants, but the good merchants have made an obundent amount because of pohs. On Topic: I've spent around a mil, when i went to world 1 to uy oaks bought 35k of them kept 5k and sold the rest for profit :) . Oh, the selling oaks paid for all the stuff i paid for construction. I would have to agree. I paid for my POH and then a good deal extra just by selling POH supplies since the update dropped. I plan to keep going for another week to get enough money for the stuff I want. by then I think the market will be done.
  20. Can't you give the beer mugs to your servant to bank them? Don't think so, they only take con items, ie logs, planks, soft clay etc yup, just tried it, couldn't bank the ales. However, I did manage to get the butler to bank bird's nests yesterday, so maybe you just can't bank 'house-generated' items. It is only POH generated goods. I've banked a bunch of normal items through my cook.
  21. Ya, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s going to take some tweaking to keep people from getting ripped off in the POHs. The easy way to protect players would be a no death penalty respawn in whatever home your in, coupled with some sort of restore where every time you leave a POH back to the real world you regain max health and lose any poisoning ect.
