  1. This would also be a good way to introduce the randomly-generated dungeons that Jagex told us about 5 years ago. There would be randomly generated islands which could have pretty much anything on them. Mining spots, teak/mahogany trees, chinchompas, dragons, demons, and maybe a mini-sized God Wars too. It would be really fun exploring those islands :P

Now I'll quickly go to RSOF and suggest this :)

  2. I'm having trouble placing the 'Varrock Sewers - Abyss' picture posted by Z8w. I myself made a map of the Abyss and Abyssal Area together, with help from a picture posted here by Homer205, but if I look at the piece of Abyss visible from Varrock Sewers, I can't place it anywhere! It has to be a northwest edge of either the Abyss or Abyssal Area, but the space between the two is too little for the Sewer to be there. Furthermore, if the Sewer was between them you would've been able to see the Area from the Sewer too. So my conclusion is that the mystery part has to be the Abyssal area. But I can't find a place where the map of the Area looks like the map seen from the Sewer... Maybe someone (I'm f2p atm) can visit the Abyssal Area or even the Abyss, walk to the northwestern edge and look for the Varrock Sewers. A screenshot too would be great, so I can integrate it into my map ::'

    I'll go.

    I found nothing special, sorry.

There *must* be some other red areas... but where? :?

  3.

The part where a platebody takes up the same amount of space as a feather :wall: seriously they need to change that

It would be pretty interesting if certain items took up more space in your inventory than others.

That feature is in a few MMORPG's.

Anyway, I hate players who train to get a skillcape and not for fun.

  4. I'd say total lvl is a show of the fact you can do a variety of skills rather than just one 'set' or so....

I think that a good player is balanced. I hate noobs who get a skillcape just to show off "LOK IM TEH BEST PLAYERO F RUNE SCAPE I HAVE A SKILL CAPE!" style. Myself I wear my Legends' Cape and I'm proud of it. Most players who train just to get a skillcape don't have it, because to get it you need balanced stats. I train skills depending on my mood, and everyone should do that in my opinion.

  5. Firemaking was my favorite skill before I become a member. I got it to only 56 in F2P however because I chopped willows with addy axe and then burned them. I never had enough cash for rune axe as they were 25k back then :P I've only trained it 2 levels since I become a member in Nov '06.

And firemaking is not a "noob" skill for sure, although it's faster than many other skills, as it is not possible to AFK like most skills are. Like woodcutting, if you chop yews or magics you can easily watch YT videos or something at the same time. Same for most other skills.

It's interesting that if you have, say, 98 firemaking and you are training it in GE, no one calls you a noob. Until you have the cape, that is.

  6. This guy was not really a noob, but I think it's still funny :D

I'm playing with my lvl-41 F2P character. I see a lvl-114 player in Falador, wearing a HP cape.

    Me: Hmm a hitpoints cape?

    Him: No it's smithing :P

Me: Was it hard to get?

    Him: At Pestle Control

    Me: It's Pest Control

    Him: ...Shut up! :P

It's really annoying if you see a player that's 70 levels lower than you and knows more :)

  7. One day I nearly died to Fire Giants twice because of extreme slowdown on my computer. Surprisingly in two different places. One time I had 2 hp left and the other time eight. The slowdown stopped after deleting my mouse drivers - it still works with no problems however. Odd mouse.

  8. I'd like to see the useless guilds updated (Prayer, Ranging, Cooking), maybe a few new guilds, and most of all: I'd love to be able to get into Prifddinas <3:

A few big quests wouldn't be bad either ::' Jagex should tie a few loose ends this year

Cooking guild is not useless! You can make apple pie there! I like pie, you like pie, everyone likes pie! Mmmm... pie.

  9. Make-X should be optional. Everything is faster without it, but it's useful if you want to watch videos/forums/something at the same time. Put a button to the options which toggles Make-X, problem solved :)

Tai Bwo Wannai mini-game needs an update, it's incredibly bad, basically woodcutting minus fast xp, fun and good income. Of course there are some clothes, but as they are useful for nothing and require a lot of time to get the sticks from the mini-game. And there are teak and mahoganys, but how many players actually get the trading sticks theirself? Not too many I think!

  10. Thanks for all the tips guys. This time i protect mage'd it up and ran to the edge and maged it. At the end when i was out of runes i special attacked it with dragon long finishing with a nice 20! Thanks again all for your help

No problem. Glad to hear you completed it :)

  11. My friend needs a 99 skill and only wants to spend around 10 mill and less than 48 hours, if you have any suggestions please post here.

Wel maybe not a 99, but he can get a 92 or 93 even. Prayer :)D bones on gilded altar ftw!

    With 10 mills?

  12. I use Dragon Scimitar + Rune Defender + Helm of Neitiznot + Dragon Boots + Glory Ammy + Legends' Cape + Granite Body + Dragon Skirt + Addy Gloves. Costs less than a whip, but with some potions they are not bad. Seriously, I don't have anything worth more than Dragon Boots and only ~500K cash ;) I'll become member again soon, and then it's time to collect money. Not for equipment, but for skills instead :D

  13. pokemon red version

    spyro two.

How do you beat Pokemon 100%? Get every Pokemon to level 100 or just have them in your Pokedex?

Every pokemon in the dex, every item found and the elite 4 beaten atleast 5 times for me to consider it 100%.

Scrap the at least 5 times deal, every pokemon has been in a party which beat the elite 4.

dex full, and a lvl 100 of EVERY pokemon. then you've 100%ed it.

I would say all Pokés in dex CAUGHT, Elite Four completed, Black trainer card (in DS games), All contests completed (in GBA and DS games), all Ribbons (in GBA and DS games), all TM's (some items are very hard to get, like Sacred Ash, to get it into the DS games you need MysticTicket in FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald, catch [garden tool]-Oh, use itemfinder where it stood to find Sacred Ash and move it to a DS game via Pal Park) and HM's, 100 battles won in a row in LV100 Battle Tower (GBA and DS games).

  14. Super Mario World (first 100% ftw! in 2000, and SNES version of course), Super Mario 64 DS, Final Fantasy (NES), Crash Team Racing (100% in adventure, max is 101%, but my disc is so stratchy that it crashes after getting the last % :D Also all Oxide ghosts in Time Trial beaten, with more or less glitches tries), Spyro 1 (in only 2 days) and 2 (in 3 days!), 3rd one nearly, but the glitches in the flight levels are annoying! (if you don't get the Egg on the first try and save, you can't get it anymore unless you start the game from the beginning), Tony Hawk's American Sk8Land (DS version). I'm close to 100% in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (175-180/190 goals done). I'm also trying Pokémon Red and Diamond, but Diamond has 493 Pokés to catch, so it's going to be hard. Red has 151 and I have about 50 now.

  15. Mario Kart for the Wii. You're driving in first place for most of the race, approaching the finish line on your final lap and are way ahead of the pack. Suddenly, as you're turning a corner, a blue shell blows you into the air. After you slowly accelerate to regular speed, a stray red shell catches up with you, stopping you again. You begin to accelerate once more, then a second place supersized cart squishes you flat. You return to regular size, only to have someone with a star run into you, blasting you off of the level. Twenty seconds later, right as you're placed back onto the track, you get railed by the former last placed bullet bill. This sums up half of the out of control races in mario kart. :)

The same happens to me in Mario Kart DS. However I've played 12 Wi-Fi matches and although this has happened in each and every match, I won them all. So my win percent is still 100% for Wi-Fi matches. Except for local Wi-Fi matches, where my losing% is 100 (only two games though).

In Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japanese version, or the Lost Levels) I always need about 30 mins to get from level 8-1 to 8-4. I always have just one life left, and I always lose it at the first jump. That game is made by Satan.

I tried to complete Ratchet & Clank 2 with no weapons except the Wrench. I played for a few hours and got to Siberius. Then I fought that boss on the truck for about 20 minutes (you only need to get him to like 2/3 health), as the Wrench does so low damage that it requires 2-3 hits to be visible on the health bar. You also need to crouch and throw the Wrench everytime. Well, I did that part... only to find out that it's the last possible part. After that, you have to fight the same guy again and kill him, but he floats so faraway this time that there's no way to even hit him. Well, it was a fun challenge though.
