My intention is to make magic a safer swifter skill, In and outside of the wildernous. Clicking the spellbook to cast Saradomin strike etc is a majour disadvantage, Taking you away from your food every time you wish to cast, Something no other skill forces you to do. High and Low Alch are able to be used there, Any spells are. Reset after a certain ammount of time?, I feel the players of runescape suffer enough through Jagex's attempts to stop Autoing, Such as Randoms. Why encourage it? Let them produce ways to identify auto users, Rather than trapping them and hindering us other users. Yeah away too easy. I don't support. This would make any spell away too easy. Because you are suppose to press the spell book. Clearly you seem to have forgotten spell setting staffs, Regaurdless. Your argument against my idea is exactly why i've made it. Easy?, I think you mean conveiniant. And that would be a good thing. :) As far as i can see, You wouldn't be alching any faster than normal, You just wouldnt be annoyingly switching back and forward through the mage spell book and invent automatically, Provided you had set the alch you were using,. Howdy Everyone. RuneScape spells, God do we all love the Art of Magic. Although how frustrating is it with those spells you cannot Auto-Cast?, Or maybe Snaring? Well here is the solution. Other games have this system in play and it works excellently. Tabbed spells in the main playing interface, Next to all your other interface tabs! (Examples below) Spells requiring a certain staff to be equipped would still require that as usual, Although the actual casting of the spell would be a much swifter, Safer action. Here is a simplistic design for what the interface would look like normally, Options included: What selecting spells for one of the 4 Tabs would look like, After clicking "Set x" you would be prompted to type in 1-4 in the chat box, Similer to Bank cash withdrawels. Finally, What having spells set would look like: Apon clicking the spell all you would need to do would be click the person/object/Npc you wanted to interact with using that spell. As maybe noticed above you can clear the positions if you'd like. Any Questions please ask, All support is greatly appriciated. Wow, I have many times called on my friends for a long rant about the outdated bank system on RS. These rants usualy end with me saying RS just needs another 4 pages of space or to be catagorised similer to the bank set up in RsC except with more pages and catagories. This is exactly what i had invisioned. While getting that setup compatable for freeplays may be difficult it is an excellent idea and deserves the support of the whole runescape community. Also seeing jagex's reply to your idea would be great. A great idea, Some excellent concept art too. I hope this happens, And while it is unlikely as my mate oldstyle has said, I will always hope it happens. Very nice, The Rat.

Vaughn, Not a fair comment. Although this may be seen as critical from some, People of different ages, Sexes, and different likings of parts of the game may well not of done the same thing. Although it is a fair comment that there is a substancial amount of people that feel they would have.

Xiled_Z, Thats what this whole damn post has been about...How about directing a question to something more exact about it all, eg. How do i feel about his bannings? Did i know any victims? How do i feel for them? etc. And please...No hyperthetical stuff, Within reason.

As is your opinion and your intitled to it. And wow..Im shocked...He massacred people?, I didnt realise while writing the interview and im sure no one else did while reading it. Allot of the people who lost phats etc would have spent a substancial amount of time getting them, And i as im sure everyone else posting here is sympathetic to that matter.

A few questions have been directed at me so I'll double back and answer those to the best of my ability. What you all must remember is, I dont know Durial. I am not Durial. Therefor i cannot speak on behalf of Durial, Explain he's actions, Or confirm past accusations, Because simply, I dont know. I hunted Durial down the day of the massacre and spoke to him for the first time, And so far the last time, To get this interview. I, As many of you should realise, A substancial ammount of the people that play RuneScape, Put in Durials shoes, Would have done something similer. Im not saying ALL of you, or YOU reading this would have, But some people would have. YES, Others wouldn't have, Due to not having a taste for pking, or just not having that slightly devilish nature. There is one hell of allot to be considered on this issue and i beleive many of you are too busy saying "No i wouldnt have done it!", or exagerating the hell out of things. I even saw nazi's mentioned somewhere. (Mind you to the person who mentioned the Nazi's, Maybe you need to lay off the cocopops or coffee.) I've gotten my fare share of abuse and accusation for asskissing in this too, And in that, There is also a few issues. Although it is expected to get that from people due to them being human i spose is all i can say, I do feel the need to rebutt on it slightly. YES. It is obvious that i complimented his Falador Massacre, But out of maybe 800 thousand players in the history of RS, Howmany others have such a notch on their belt. In my 3 years 5 months of playing, I have NEVER seen something like this. And yes, Many pkers would have walked through fally or varrok after a bad day of pking and thought "If only....If only..." As to my supporting of others being hurt or anything like that, There is none. What i mean is i have no support for people being hurt emotionally or their items being taken. This however did occur, But in this instance, As in whats happend. Was that not unavoidable?, Sure if the massacre hadn't of happend, It would have been avoided, But then i wouldnt be typing this then either, Would I? As far as the Green party hat being stolen goes, At the time the interview was conducted, I did not make the link that the Phat had been gained through the massacre, But did realise this later. Knowing that at the time, Yes what i would have said would have been different. In realising this later, I could have removed myself saying so, Although i didnt feel handing the public a cropped and editted interview beond reason was the right thing to do. When he tried to log in after that, Account locked. Durial has now also been banned, As i beleive i've said somewhere.

Lets not let this post become another flamefest, For it is the original. I can only answer so much, As i only know so much. I am currently taking steps to prove the authenticity of the interview. Thats all i have to say here for now.

No I am not Durials lawyer. :-P Im pleased my Interview and the information i found has been taken oboard in a mainly positive way here. As i took 3 or so hours hunting down Durial then interviewing and editing grammer. I cant change any of your opinions and wont try to, Due to you all being intitled to them. I can also not make excuses for Durials actions, For i am not him and have only spoken to him on one occasion- That of the interview. But i will comment on a few further things. I also like the irony of the date 06-06-06, Excellent. And only topped off by the name of the host of the party, Curse You. Also, Before your quick to judge the younge gentleman at question so quickly take into mind after watching the video a stranger to him and I recorded, He had 100's of players laughing and cheering him on...Amoung his own adrenaline and other factors of what was going on in his head etc already spoken about here. As is my knowledge, Durial is now perm banned. Thats all i can really say. I have so far enjoyed reading all your feedback. Oh, One more thing, I changed the names of everything for privacy, And it will continue that way, Durials contact details will remain between he and I. The Rat.

Also, As tempting as it is to defend his actions, I am not him and do not know him on a personal level. Although from what i gather, He was there with ancients due to taking part in the dungeon inside the house, And only found out about the glitch when he died, So decided to see if it worked, And well, It did. Seems like a nice kid caught up in the moment. Also i do feel sorry for all the people who lost their items, But there was really no reason for me to say that inside the interveiw. I did on the otherhand aknowledge that he had done something wrong and my sympathy does go out to those affected, As i beleive i said in more or less words in the original post. Hopefuly solutions to the problems given are found, The bug is fixed quickly, And he can continue to play with a lesson learnt.

The Falidore Massacre- Howdy, many of you now would of heard the events that took place today on the 6-6-06 in Falidore centre world 111, Runescape. For those of you that didnâââ‰â¢t, Jagexâââ¬Å¾Ã¢ the owner of Runescape the MMORPG recently released a new skill into their online game. The skill is called Construction where you can make and furnish your own home and include games, dueling, monsters and dungeons. You can also invite many people into your house of up to 20 rooms and hold meetings + parties. There are many things you can do with the new skill but I wonâââ‰â¢t mention all of them. Construction was released on the 31-May-2006 and due to the newness of the update obviously glitches were to be expected, Iâââ‰â¢m sure none expected any as severe as this. A glitch was left in the programming that meant after a certain sequence of events happened that I cannot say due to copy cats, that you would find yourself outside the owners house with the ability to attack others. This is where the star of this interview, Durial, Found himself. Durial, Is a 16 year old Male from the United States of America, He has been playing Runescape since May of 2005. He enjoys the Pking aspect of the game as many do. He has a sense of humor, Has proven to be very approachable, Well mannered, And quite nice. Durials Runescape account by Runescape standards is an overall Pking account, With decent mid range skills. His Runescape name which is currently still showing up on Runescape Highscores but locked is Durial123. After I learnt of the events that happened today during Curse Youâââ‰â¢s 99 Construction party (first in the game), I Decided to try find out all I could about what happened.
