  1. Activity is probably the most important factor in a clan, which is why we always have around 5 events a week, if not more. People join clans to attend the events, and if there are none then there's no reason why new people would join the clan, and why existing members would stay. The clan may have a good community, but then the lack of events would certainly lead to the downfall of it.
  2. Under those circumstances you should obey your bosses orders 100% of the time. Losing a war on RS isn't the end of the world, but then skipping work could result in a) you getting fired B) bad reference from your ex-employees - imagine trying to get a new job in the future when your ex-boss tells your possible new boss that you refused to come into work when there was an emergency and they desperately needed you. I doubt any company would want to employ that type of person. Even if something less serious comes up such as friends wanting to go and do something you shouldn't avoid it so that you can war. RS will always be there, but will your friends if you constantly turn them down because you want to play an online game?
  3. 7 female and umm...56 males but then 1 of the females is counted twice (main and pure) and so are afew of the males... so roughly 6 female and 45 males?
  4. ok so jagex intended on construction being a money drain and it is..prices dropped but only for the first few days. most items have steadily raised to near their starting price except for rares. which, correct me if im wrong, was proberly the reason why jagex wanted to remove money from the economy? rares have more or less doubled, and dont show any signs of slowing down- this is a total reverse effect of what was intended. so tell me..if theres less money, then why have these rares more than doubled in price? it doesn't seem right at all
  5. the only training ive got done, well this year, has been at my house in combat rings. now if wer talkin about training skills then it would be all the time im online so maybe 4 hours a day
  6. with the "low level" topic id proberly consider players with combat skills under 60 as bein low lever, pray not included, and def not included with pures although i dont have many people on my friends list who have under 70 in their combat skills, unless their pure or a rl friend. ive got 2 or 3 people in my friend list (that i dont know in real life) that wat i would consider as being low combat. saying this 1 of them is a skiller with a 99 skill, 1 is the son of a good online friend, and the other i met wen i first started. so it seems that higher lvl players dont have many lower lvl players added. i dont know why this is, but maybe i feel id rather talk 2 experienced players who arent going to ask me so many questions regarding gameplay. edit: i agree with jimbobs point, but i feel the middle is abit higher, maybe 60-90
  7. i became a member just after summer of last year, hadnt even been on this account for a month. i was roughly 55 combat but had all f2p quests complete, 50+ mage and range, access to fishin guild and could chop yews, so i wasnt under prepared. almost been playing for a year now. just over a month til my rs birthday
  8. with those calculation wouldnt the cash get made only if you get the materials yourself? people buy hides, bars etc and lose money from alching, but then again the person who sells the materials get the cash, and the alcher still makes more from nothing. its nice to see that you still have an interest in rs and are still playing ypur part in the rs community. i know that not many ppl in your situation would stick around making possitive contributions. just wondering but have u made/ or have a different account that you use or do u just browse forums?
  9. yes i do know that fancy fancy has a cape, but the must have items i looked at were unwearable by people that low. unless the guide for lower lvls is included in the ancient mage approach? i only read the first part of guide so i appologise if the lower level guide is included somewer else
  10. um..u say a lvl 60 can do it but you say that guthans, crystal bow and some of that othe stuff is a must. i dont know ay lvl 60's with 70 att str def and range. on the whole a great guide for higher lvls. im sure alot of people will get fire capes following this
  11. zzzamorak isnt 99 agility, hes actually 10m+xp away, gotta admit that his stats own tho and he is the best lvl 3 skiller in game. when talkin about noobs id conisder their total level and combat lvls. a low combat and high total shows that the player is experienced and knows what theyre doing. i find that players with high combat and low total are often noobs as they are often young kids and very immiture. low slayer is often a sign of this. im not sayin that all high combats with low total are like this but i know that alot of them are id consider any1 over 1400 total to be a good, experienced player also around 20m total xp? and all skills ranked. all skills 60+ shows that the players is really experienced
  12. there are actually plenty of people who play purely because of rares. rares show a sign of achievement. before construction rares were the only thing worth spending 10+millions on. if theres nothin to achieve from the game then wats really the point in playin? just because u dont have the cash to spend on rares doesnt mean that other people cant spend theirs on them alot of the cash in the game is invested into phats and if they were removed then prices of other (more used stuff) would sky rocket, which would ruin the game far more than u believe rares do. people would now have hundreds of millions and nothin really to spend it on. im sure these people would then be prepared to spend their cash on afew 99's. (im sure people must have already made this FACT clear) u might complain now, but im sure ud be complainin alot more wen the stuff that u really do need increases in price meanin u need to spend more of ur cash raisin ur skills. im sure duke knows alot more on the rare subject than any one else in the game. even if he is banned but im sure that no one ever has, an not many people ever will own as many rares as he had
  13. happened to me aswel, only we got 3 in build mode (1 being an in game mod) and also there were 2 demonic servants or watever theyre called in my house(in build mode)
  14. i dont get that option on my home page for some reason?
  15. that feature doesnt appear on my main page?
  16. j-mods can be any lvl they want and wear anything they want. seen a lvl 1 j-mod with legends cape, and white phat i think along with desert robes. he then teled. j-mods cannot trade or att and i think the accounts can only be accesssed from the main jagex headquarters. not 100% sure on this tho but wenever a serious bug/glitch occurs (death bug, fally incident) j-mods always hurry to the hq which suggests that theyre p-mod account can only be accessed from there. j-mods also have their own non mod accounts which they use. atleast the 1 i was talking too does.
