So basically it's just an interactive map? As far as my planet's stats (Kajea I and Britanniae), they are very much like Earth. Also, our surface maps aren't being done away with, are they? That would kinda ruin things for me.

The White Tree seeds will be ready for distribution in a few months. Plans are already being made to plant these trees in prominent areas in all major cities. Orchards are being planted in Oceania and New Japan. By growing these trees, we hope that productivity and happiness will greatly increase as well as an increase in average longevity. Since the first generation of plants is being planted, we are placing heavy quotas on the export of said plants. Once a second generation has reached maturity, the quotas should gradually decline as the amount of seeds increases. Parliament has authorised the construction of subways and magnetic train hubs in major cities. These modes of transportation should significantly decrease the average travel expense per person. Parliament has also authorised the creation of a planet-wide wi-fi network in order for civilians and researchers to have access to free Internet. Kaminoan scientists have expressed an interest in working with Britannian researchers at ORC. A Britannian government-sponsored advertisement is being broadcasted through the radio and the Internet: ------ RETIRE IN PARADISE The Britannian government is giving every citizen who displays good Character and a positive devotion to their career an opportunity to retire in our paradise colonies on the planet Zhoreuc. Our Zhoreucian colonies offer the finest luxuries and abundance of exotic fruits. Other luxuries include the crystal-clear Zhoreucian waters and snow-white beaches, as well as the warm sunlight. Every individual has an equal opportunity to spend their final years on this sublime planet! -Signed by the National Parliament of the Britannian Empire ------ The Britannian shipyards that once orbited Earth are now in orbit around Britanniae.

To be honest, I'm not sure what Brave New World is, and I'm not consciously thinking "oh, I will just copy these ideas from Rpg". I could be being influenced by you, though. :?

Grim, I thought that your method was to use a nuclear warhead attached to an S2E missile for orbital bombardment? -- In other news, the Britannian populace has voted to create an Eiffel Tower in order to replace the original one. The Britannian government officially apologises to the French for the unfortunate destruction of their prized possession that occurred during the Fifth World War. The Eiffel Tower is free.

To be honest, (playing the Devil's advocate, not really on any sides in this conflict) wouldn't it be a LOT easier to just load the virus onto a cannister that's attached to an S2E missile (lacking explosives) and just launch it from orbit?

Biological weapons are allowed, but they are strongly discouraged. Radioactive weapons are banned. He wouldn't necessarily have to hover his ship around harsh winds, either. There are many weapons that can be fired from orbit (ARC cannons/Ares cannons being a prime example). Assuming that he has enough energy to power his weapons, he could theoretically devoid your planet of all biological life. However, I believe that he lacks the technology for said lasers. He has S2E fusion nukes, but those are useless against aquatic worlds. A big tsunami would be created and some water and lifeforms would be vaporised, big whoop. I'll definitely look into developing vaccines for your people, especially since it lands me a profit. -- @ Rocco: Is it the Bulgarian virus?

Well, you probaly couldn't kill everyone, so I'm alright. If its some sort of climate change sorta deal, I'll figure out a way to circumvent that. :P It's been done with the moon crashing thing, so I'm sure it will be done here too. He's likely to use a virus or heat weapons against your planet. Enough heat could boil your oceans, killing all life. A virus can be negated, but it could be rather nasty to have to clean up.

Of course not, would be rather stupid :P You also can't even go back in to fight turkeys.

Belgian man was in a coma for 23 years... Or was he?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8375326.stm I personally find the article rather disturbing. A man was misdiagnosed as being in a coma for 23 years, and then doctors finally discovered that he was conscious the entire time but was paralyzed and couldn't talk. I wonder how many other people like this that there are in hospital beds. Imagine wanting to talk or walk around, but you're paralyzed and your family thinks that you're in a vegetative state.

Will do. This reminds me, the fruits have been altered so that no seeds are inside them. Where exactly are the seeds then? How do they reproduce? Ah, you got me. :( I will just charge a one-time fee for people to use the plant. I guess I was just thinking that the seeds would be individually removed from the cores of the fruits. Basically, the trees are reproduced from a single seed found in the center of a fruit.

Hehe, the large landmass is actually what I call "the Continent", simply because it doesn't have a name yet. Great Britain is actually just the island that's shaped like Great Britain in the area known as "Britain". Judging by the proportion of the island to the continent, I'm estimating that Britain has more land mass than the British Isles on Earth.

Yeah, but Japan already had over 150M people before war broke out, and New Japan is larger than Japan.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Retech, can I have all 80M of my Japanese civilians now? @Dusty: What planets did walka own? I remember his planet was called NR2 or something like that. ---- Scientists have successfully created a hybrid of the Zhoreucian fruit that produces resveratrol. The tree will be finished sometime next year, if not by the end of this year. Scientists are dubbing the new species the "White Tree". Once the species is perfected, it will be able to be used in order to increase production, lower suicide rates, increase overall happiness, let people live a little longer, and be used as a light source. (although not as powerful as a street light) Roads are being created in order to connect all major cities and towns. A tunnel is being built in order to connect Britain and the Continent together (to increase commercial travel to New London). The tunnel will be underwater. Shipyards for commercial ships are being built. This will be the birth of the ferry transport and cruise liner businesses on Britanniae. Parliament has passed another law that bans "objects that are detrimental to the environment". Only "green" vehicles, factories, etc. are allowed on the planet. City development continues. Project Au continues. Researchers at ORC have discovered that Project Au's end-goal is possible, but it will take further research in order to find an energy-efficient solution to a problem that they have faced. DNA sampling continues. Scientists have been dispatched to Kajea I. Ship production has begun. The Royal Navy has now become the name for the Britannian space fleet. The Royal Air Force has now become the Royal Airlines. The old naval vessels (water) are being torn into scrap metal for the sole purpose of creating new ships (space), except a few. The same will be done for the old RAF. Ships that were spared will serve as historical/educational objects, or they will be used for thrill-seekers (the old aircraft). Gun systems will be removed, of course. We have sent a request to Kamino for the creation of some 10 million clones bearing English blood and 10 million clones bearing Scottish blood. We need them to be able to reproduce as any other human. This is an attempt to preserve the British culture. The same will be done for the Japanese. We need 10 million Japanese. :) Even though we are a generally anti-war nation, military basic training will still continue for all citizens when they reach a certain age. Military training will be carried out of the public eye, though. This is part of the Character Building Programme, which was passed by Parliament a few months ago. CBP also includes community service and education. We are trying to offer the highest-standard and best quality educational system that's possible. Mining ships are continuing to mine asteroids in the Sega-Res system.

...? I thank you for the gesture, but when exactly did I help you "live in the cold"? And I have my own test subjects, I see little benefit on testing on a foreign species. These prisoners will be re-tried in the Kamino court system, and if found to be innocent, will be released into the ocean outside of Madagascar. I mentioned developing a way for him to live in extreme cold environments, but seeing that you are specialised in the genetics department, I didn't want to encroach upon your territory too much. He basically wants a way for his species to have some sort of genetic code put into them that makes them more tolerant of cold environments. He wants something that doesn't have to be given on an individual basis and is inherited by future generations.

A large particle accelerator (let's call it the Large Hadron Collider) is being built on Orojike. Due to public concerns about the particle accelerator's perceived negative impact on the pristine Britannian environment, Parliament passed a law that forbids the research centre from being built in Oceania. Orojike Research Centre (ORC) will cost approximately 3 billion. --- The bio-engineering of the new tree species is going exceptionally well. Scientists estimate that the project will take another two years for perfection. The aforementioned Zhoreucian tree species that scientists discovered last year bears an edible fruit. Labourers were given the fruit, and they reported an increased energy level, a clearer mind, and a feeling of increased happiness. Scientists are now combining the fruit tree's genetic code with the new tree species that is being developed. Our scientists are currently trying to incorporate traits into the fruit in order to produce resveratrol.

You can't use any nukes or ships against the planet simply because it would just create large splashes and maybe flood some land, but that's it.

Sounds good. We look forward to your continued service. :) (Needs a guestimate for how many samples I just sold. :P) --- Indigenous species from Japan will be introduced to New Japan in the next 3-4 years. Indigenous species from New Zealand will be introduced to Oceania in the same time frame. Royalties will be paid to Rpg for allowing me to clone animals. Once these animals have been introduced, they will breed on their own, leading to a population boom. A peculiar palm tree species has been discovered along the western coastal areas on the large Britannian continent. There seem to be no medicinal uses from the coconut milk, however, it has a sweeter taste than coconuts found on Earth. --- Britannia has officially announced that it has pulled out of the War, though the signing of the Sol Doctrine should have been official enough.

Sounds fair, but wouldn't you be releasing like 70 million civilians (you said about 80M humans were left on Japan yesterday)? As I'm no longer in the NWO (complying to Archi's terms), there is probably little that I can do as a peaceful nation. I will, however, do my best to convince him to halt the attack. There are no guarantees, though. @Archi: $500,000 per sample sounds like a great price, but I have little use for Strange matter at the moment. Is it possible to convert the amount that you would pay (no clue on the total money that you would be paying) into precious metals such as gold?
