@Retech, no one can create a vaccine for Rocco's virus simply because no one else has a sample of the virus. Also, it would probably take about a decade in the game for the virus to fully wipe out your planet. How do I know this? The Final Solution was a plan I had during the war. It involved the use of S2E missiles containing the Bulgarian virus and other plagues, including the bubonic plague and ebola. If that didn't finish you off, I would've just superheated your oceans until they boiled. --- @Dusty: The Britannian government calls on the Terran Federation to release King John. Instead of punishing him by death, we request that he is instead exiled to Eden, where he will have no more political influence on anyone.

Research into airships has begun. These new vessels will be like flying 18th century era ships, and they will be used for tourism and to add an utopian feel to Britanniae, the "First Realm" as some people call it.

Adding to her above suggestion (I'll call it the Philosopher's Stone), current alchemy will still exist in its current form, but it will operate under Equivalent Exchange. However, the Philosopher's Stone could be used in order to make an absurd amount of a substance (thereby ignoring Equivalency) and yield great profit or whatnot. --- In other news, the Britannian colony on Zhoreuc has officially been given a name: Eden.

Watertroll - Super Boss? Interesting Java Discussion
It still doesn't rule out the possibility of that piece of land being part of a new continent (which would be awesome). Yeah, I agree that the architecture looks like some kind of pirate settlement. Keep in mind that the pirates live east of Morytania, and a new pirate island is very likely to move us further east. I'd say that if it's not the eastern lands, it probably is some kind of build up to the release of the area.

What? No. I've been artificially producing diamonds and the like for decades. I wouldn't ban alchemy, as long as it's balanced/not in ridiculous amounts. I'm talking more about things that would replace the need for mining in general. I can understand limiting it (even I would agree with it), but what's wrong with trying to limit mining? In all honesty, I'm using it as a means to keep my planet's ecosystem as pristine as possible, which is just as valid as someone trying to create an authoritarian society or a utopia.

Now you're just trying to ban alchemy because I thought of it. #-o

It all just depends, really. It would take a massive flooding of the market in order to really damage the inter-solar market, but that can be negated through quotas. There is a massive demand for gold, after all, and gold isn't the only metal that can be transmuted. Even if the market was to somehow crash, it shouldn't screw me over too badly. It creates jobs for people and still supplies my planets with the necessary amount of gold, and it saves us from having to rape the environment in order to obtain said gold.

Okay, the Britannian government has approved the creation of a new industry: Alchemy. Project Au will continue as scientists try to look for new and more efficient ways to transmute metals. The Alchemists United (AU) has been formed. The above symbol will adorn the National Alchemical Headquarters in New London. Gold leaf will be used to decorate the large symbol engraved into the brown marble walkway/monument in front of the complex. The smallest circle in the middle of the symbol will be a large tier fountain with gold foil adorning its edges.

Archi, I didn't lose my empire. I just simply relocated after the war. Besides that, I think people are practically ignoring their losses.

My original flag was originally the Republic of Ireland flag, but it was never put on any kind of map. The first flag that I used that was put onto a flag was the union jack. Anyway.. What should be the cost of the following ships: -Embassy ship -Cargo ship -Colony ship (forgot how much I was spending per ship in the past. past models held about 20k people) -Mining ship -Capitol ship

I meant to ask you what you were producing before you started producing no ships at all...

@Rpg: Sorry about the incoherent post. I was cleaning the house. Anyway, sure, I'll help with TerrAvenger II. Also, can anyone post their ship production rates (preferably Ross)? I need to work out how many ships I'm pumping out.

I was about to debate that with you, then I realised that I started off as the Kingdom of Eire and later became the Britannian Empire. I think it was more like: Germany > The Fourth Reich > Germania > Europa > Terran Federation > part of Norway > part of the Brazilian Empire > Germania > Terran Federation

To be honest, I'd rather keep Archi in the game since he adds a little more excitement to it. Also, just saying "Project X has started, 50B/year" and a day later saying "Project X is finished" is rather boring. I'd rather have more storyline to the game than just that. Also, it's a tad bit hypocritical to criticise Archi for coming up with interesting technology when we use something as unrealistic as a 200-300M army during a war on Earth. It's also pretty goddamn stupid to just one day turn your entire population into a bunch of lizard people, mermaids, or flying insects and everyone being perfectly fine with that... I'm pretty sure most humans would rather be human and not a Reptilian or whatever. [/rant] Also, Archi, we did try to create a "majority-rule" council in the past, but the NWO happened to be the majority, so it was shot down. Although the few people that opposed the council had a good reason to oppose it (NWO wasn't really neutral after all), I still think that majority-rule should be in place.

So did I lose my probes, or can I just call them back and reuse them?

Very well, but Britannian law calls on the humane treatment of all prisoners and the establishment of reformation programmes so that some prisoners (that committed petty crimes) can come back to Britanniae or Kajea. Hardcore prisoners will just remain on self-sufficient prison colonies for the remainder of their lives because we can't risk them coming back and committing another heinous crime. --- I feel like I'm watching two blind men argue over an elephant. (refer to the "blind men and an elephant" analogy)

Has Dusty purchased all of Ross's spare planets? If not, I'm looking for a planet that could be used as a prison colony.

I think Trol should be PMed first before assuming that he doesn't play anymore, to be honest. The same should be done with Mage_Man (guy who owns Australia). I know Latinoking will most likely want to play still, but I also know that he's busy with college (which is why he gave me command of his armies). So, I will just assume that his empire is in stasis or whatever, and I will take control of any necessary things (move him if Earth gets blown up, fight any plagues in his country, etc.). I've also talked to Hedgehog1 and asked him if he's still playing. He says he is, but he's being low-key so he doesn't get blown up by some of the larger empires (his own words). :P ------ Anyway, the Second Life Project has begun, and a laboratory will be built in Moscow. The second probe has been sent in the same general direction as the last one, but the probe's angle was adjusted about one degree. The probe has tamper-proof devices (the same that are used on weapons) to prevent any potentially hostile sentient beings from discovering who we are and taking advantage of the probe. (Archi, I do agree that NPC sentient lifeforms would kind of break the game. Wormholes, black holes, etc. are pretty interesting.) White saplings have begun to grow. Production rates have increased somewhat from last year due to the government-sponsored incentives concerning Zhoreuc. The Eiffel Tower was completed and sent to Earth via a cargo ship that was escorted by an embassy ship.
