I would create an update for today, but it's nearly midnight and I have school tomorrow. I guess I'll just post an update for what should have been today's update along with the update for tomorrow at a later time. I was going to create an awesome update post today, but my creativity kinda went dead after I discovered that I couldn't think of a name for a certain region of Kajea. I might go ahead and just put some updates for the Gaian expedition tomorrow. Maybe I'll just think of a ton of stuff to research and just do that.

Dusty's bomb is a planet-buster, correct? The tungsten shell should protect Dusty's bomb long enough for it to be calibrated and detonated in the middle of the swarm. Assuming that the ships travel close to each other, the bomb should be powerful enough to at least wipe out a good number of the ships (if not most).

What would be the purpose of firing a single, enormous rail gun projectile at the Urk-Orz? Due to their mass numbers, wouldn't it be a lot better to have some sort of flak-like projectile that can attack several ships at once? Also, keep in mind that their ships are filled with liquid ethanol, a highly flammable substance. A spark on the interior should be enough to compromise the ship. (You might also want to read my post on the bottom of the last page. It might be pretty helpful.)

Instead of reflecting the laser, isn't it possible to somehow absorb the energy and disperse it across a wide surface in order to counteract the damage (sort of like how bullet-proof armor works)?

Last.fm had a full preview of the song (which was on an embedded player). Since it looks like iTunes has some of Apoptose's music, I'm going to try to download their song and pay for it because I have some credit on there from gift cards (from last Christmas) that I have yet to spend. Now I'm wondering how to put the .mp3 file from iTunes onto a flash drive. EDIT: The file is on my flash drive at the moment, but it's in Mp4 format. I'm hoping that Mp4 is compatible with FinalCut Pro.

Despite Gaia's Earth-like environment, the atmosphere is indeed highly toxic, so all explorers must wear bio-suits and keep a supply of oxygen. Explorers flew dragonfly helicopters from Base Camp in order to survey the surface. A few explorers landed on the ground and discovered an interesting and diverse variety of plant species. Currently, no wildlife have been encountered. I really don't have much of an interesting report tonight because of a lot of distractions. -- The Britannian government is currently trying to cull votes from the population in order to obtain a possible name change for the Britannian Empire in order to show equality toward our brethren from the Holy Empire of Jerusalem. The Britannian government has authorised the building of more cities on Kajea in order to accommodate the new residents. Gaia, Tartarus, and Hades will be mapped sometime next year. An expedition team is being prepped for a possible exploration of Gaia, a moon reported to have vegetation and liquid water on its surface. The Kajean jungles should be explored in about two years. A few large colonial transports (200,000 people each) are scheduled to be created and prepped to be sent for the colonisation of Unoph. Project Guardian has begun. Several more defence stations will be created around Kajea and its moons. More and more fighter hangars will be added onto these stations as time progresses. 500 Helios spheres wil be created and added around Kajea and its moons every year. The Britannian sectors on Kajea II and Kajea III (the desert and minor arctic worlds) have been designated as research colonies. The Britannian cartographers, architects and landscapers in Japan are now bound for Britanniae after a pleasant stay on the islands. A message from the Britannians sent to Britanniae suggested that the Lichtens were very hospitable despite being rather annoying at times. Construction of the new cities on New Japan will begin as soon as possible. The Britannian government will have to approve things before construction begins, though. (They're trying to make sure that the plans are environmentally-friendly.)

Archi, can you PM me the planets that are in the Tetra system (close to Eresu and Kajea)?

I think Dusty already pretty much bought the land on Earth. I'm just moving my people and infrastructure from Earth to Kajea because it seems that Latino won't really be playing anymore. If I didn't annex him, Archi would've erased him from the game anyway.
