  1. Okay, there isn't really an update for today. Same old same old. I'm guessing that there should be several defensive platforms in Kajea now.
  2. Canada is at a greater risk of being annexed by the United States than having the capital taken over by a bunch of tree huggers.
  3. I read this on the BBC last night. Apparently this guy is a loser from New Zealand who wanted to bang his wife again, so he infected her with AIDS. Instead of getting sex, he got 15 years in prison. All I can say is: OWNED.
  4. There are currently colonists on Unoph as well, as well as Rpg's colonists. I started colonisation a few weeks ago, so you can decide on a reasonable number, and I'll support it. Unoph is in the Ominlife system. It's Earth-like, and you can ask RpgGamer how big it is.
  5. it takes 3 with 10kg of the new material per ship. You can't warp in that zone.
  6. We're not starting the game over, are we? I'll quit if that happens.
  7. I've done that, yes. (Didn't work) Anyway, I went to the store and bought a cheap optical mouse. I'll just use it until it wears out, then I'll buy a new one.
  8. Fine. Broadcasts are being made that explain the Ark programme. There is nothing to worry about, and the people calm down.
  9. There really isn't an impending apocalyptic disaster on Britanniae (that we know of, at least), so the government isn't withholding information. Haven's just starting a long-term project so we aren't caught with our pants down.
  10. It's a Microsoft optical mouse, and I'm not sure what you mean by the receiver. My computer recognizes the USB device, but the laser on the mouse won't turn on.
  11. Okay, my wireless optical mouse just stopped working on my laptop. I've replaced its batteries and plugged the USB back in after taking it out. I don't know what to do.
  12. http://forum.tip.it/topic/251807-26-nov-09-thanksgiving-community-event-until-dec-7th/ This thread will actually give you the answers in a straight-forward manner. Just refer to the original post on that thread. The items for the final guy is something like 3 eggs, 234 coins, and 8 chisels.
  13. Haven has also accepted the burden of the Human Continuity Programme, and the organisation will build many ships called Arks. These Arks are basically large colony ships outfitted with SR technology. If a disaster strikes Britannian civilisation, the Arks will be loaded up with civilians and shipped off into deep space. Their destination will be an undisclosed planet that Haven discovers. The ships are also self-sustaining. Haven scientists will begin searching for distant Earth-like planets in uninhabited solar systems. Archi can handle all of that if he wants. We aren't using probes, so I don't really see how random events would apply to this research. Once a planet has been discovered, the information will be kept between me and Archi under the code name "Safe house". We don't really see any apocalyptic disasters in our near future, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Aside from Haven's activity with the Human Continuity Programme and the Second Life programme, nothing much has happened within Britannian society. Explorers continue to explore the Gaian and the Kajean surfaces. DNA sampling still continues. Cities continue to be built, and the economy continues to do exceptionally well. The First Fleet has arrived in Kajea, and defensive structures continue to be built in the Kajea system. It shouldn't be long before the scanning of the Deep Space Portal is complete. The various joint-research projects with Kamino continue.
  14. They were going to give us a smoking pipe as a reward until they changed it at the last minute because they thought that the pipe would hurt their PR. Instead, we got a magnifying glass that will after several years become rare, and no one cares about the magnifying glass. It was kind of fun though. I'll admit that.
  15. This. The Orz home world would be impossible to take (assuming that they only sent out a small invasion force by their standards), and it's also worthless. Since they have a 900 billion population on their home world, there will be very few resources. Ever wondered why they wanted to invade us? It's because their planet sucks and they're on the verge of extinction because of a resource shortage. Your best bet is to destroy the portal.
  16. By medium-sized, I'm talking about something like 7-10 feet high, which is average. Depending on where you're shopping, average-sized faux trees can cost $100-200. That's depending on the store and the tree's quality, though.
  17. A fake tree costs about $50-100 for a medium-sized tree, and it can cost upwards of a few hundred dollars for a large tree. That's not including the cost of Christmas lights or ornaments. --- I'm not a religious person, so I don't observe any religious aspects of Christmas. My family is Protestant (Baptists, Anglicans, etc), so the rest of my family might observe some religious aspects. Generally, we just do the commercialised version of Christmas. HOWEVER, I enjoy the Christmas holiday because I visit family members that I haven't seen in a year, and I love the time off.
  18. By the way, Zaros isn't back yet. If you talk to Azzanadra after the quest and ask if he's back, he'll tell you that he can only communicate with him, but he will be back soon.
  19. Okay, I went to bed after finishing the Barrows icon part, but I got up this morning and finished the Frostenhorn part. I thought that the Frozen Fortress was quite easy and fun. Hell, I might use it as a hangout place. The final cutscene was also very much worth it. The dark mage at the Abyss [cabbage] bricks. :P As far as the Ice Demon went, he was extremely easy when I used 81 range, diamond bolts(e), and a ranging potion. I barely missed him (only hit a couple 0s), and the hits that didn't fail landed him some high damage. I strongly recommend using diamond bolts(e) and a rune crossbow on him. Thanks for all the help! :)
  20. I have plasma missiles for that. ;)
  21. Some transports have been sent to pick up some Orz ships and exosuits. Before heading back to Sega-Res/Kajea, the ship and the exosuits will be checked for any beacons (so the Orz can't use it as a trap). Then, the devices will be studied.
  22. I usually do whatever method that works for me. I prefer to do stuff like shark fishing and tab making because you don't have to concentrate much. I can't really be bothered to do monster hunting for some strange reason, so I usually make money off of barrows. If I'm not actively making money, I rely on my kingdom and battle staff merchanting and just do weekly rounds for MTK and daily rounds for battle staves.
  23. That song's going to give me nightmares... The Orz look disturbingly cute.
  24. I'm doing the quest, and I'm wondering if the Frostenhorn part is a pain in the [wagon]. I'm level 132 and I'm bringing black hides, enchanted diamond bolts, and an anti-fire shield. It's a welfare set up because I've spent most of my money on Construction furniture.
