Possible room increase
I hope they release more rooms along with an increase in room limits. At high Construction levels, it is frustrating to have the 30 room limit. If they don't release any new rooms, I'll just have to either 1) expand my dungeon in different directions, or 2) wait.

18th August 2009 - Menagerie, Familiar Controls and Butler
This update actually saved me money by presenting a problem where I'd put the menagerie. While thinking about it, I found a way to make my dungeon feel "cozier", as well as putting my second study (demonic lectern) where my 2nd throne room would've went (which was in the original design for a crystal + demonic throne room). In my original throne room, I'll just place a demonic throne there. Then, I went into my dungeon and deleted a 2nd oubliette that I was going to use in case I needed a cageless flame pit for Dharok'ing. Then I simply deleted the stairs in my dungeon stairs room for the addition of 3 adjacent treasure rooms, each with steel dragons. It seems like I'm spending more than I should, but in the end, I'll have 28/30 rooms instead of 30/30 rooms (making more room for future updates). I also save 30m with my 99 house design. The design is now much more flexible for future updates, and it has a cozier feeling. It's also more effecient. (The study with the demon lectern is right by the portal, and the eagle lectern is upstairs, which isn't far from the portal either.) I chose the natural pet house, but I'm not sure if I'll end up thinking that the desecrated one is both bigger (taller) and cooler than the natural one, though. The consecrated house looks like crap. To be honest, I don't mind how the garden habitat looks against the regular POH grass. I've noticed that the jungle theme makes it look like your pets pissed all over the grass and stained it, but the winter theme looks great for a Christmas theme during X-mas events. The volcanic design is pretty cool, but not my cup of tea for my house design. I still wouldn't mind some type of fence hotspot, though.

I just went into my house (as soon as I logged on) and saw that my pets were trapped inside my house. They spawned inside my house as soon as I went in, not outside in the menagerie.

I need a pic of the consecrated pet house, please.

Does the time it takes to make two compensate for the exp bonus? Not sure. Forty extra experience is pretty significant though. If anything, it'll just provide cheaper Construction training.

It's better to build oak houses than oak larders now. Oak house: x4 oak plank 260 exp earned multiply by 2: 520 exp earned (for building two) Oak larder: x8 oak plank 480 exp earned

It says in the KB that you can have 4 baby dragons (btw, dragon pets only come in one stage) in your volcanic habitat. I wonder if I can put my zamorak hawk into the house and then raise a guthix raptor and put it in there, too? what do you mean one stage XD only one color? or size b/c i know all the pets have to be fully grown Dragon only comes in one stage after hatching. All hatched dragons stay as baby dragons.

Make an oak one, right click it, choose upgrade, upgrade it too a teak one etc. Thanks. That's a little odd, but I understand it now.

Oak -> Teak -> Mahog. -> One of the lvl 92 ones. So I have to make an oak, remove it, make teak, remove it, make mahog, remove it, make the level 92?

"This can only be made by upgrading the previous piece of furniture." WTF?!

Can someone post a picture of each of the level-92 pet houses, please? Thanks.

Yay! Welcome to the game. For a moment we thought you weren't going to play like you lost interest.

Yeah, when I saw that vid, I was like "What. the. [bleep]?!" I lasted 1:13 for me, thought I could go all the way until I saw that it was 10 minutes long. [yt]FkVYHUMCCwc[/yt]

[hide=Updated world map][/hide] [hide=India and South Africa icons] (India) (South Africa)[/hide] Britannian news: I have recently launched a new satellite to start off my "Satellite Replacement Programme" due to the fact that some of my satellites are damaged, as well as the fact that some have been in service for years and it's time to replace them with updated models. One important satellite for our National Weather Service has become damaged, forcing us to rely on international news for weather forecasts.

If this is true, would I be taking Scotland away from anyone? Because I'm not interested in that and would just take a completely open country instead. Actually, you would be taking it from me. However, I can basically help you out if you'd like and help you get a country started. I think these are probably the best that are up for grabs: Japan, Italy, India , and South Africa (I think). The person that owned Holland has gotten a ban (I think perm), so it might be up for grabs too.

As for Scotland, it's already taken. However, there are still lots of countries to choose from. [hide=Most current official map][/hide] All countries that are shown in white are up for grabs. We are also trying to do a new system in which countries that have leaders that are inactive will go into a "temporarily claimed" stage until the leader says through PM that they aren't playing anymore or whatever. There are several South Asian countries and African countries that are available. Japan's available. That's probably the most desirable of them all though. Even if you got a country that's poorer in real life, you could still turn it into a powerful nation.

[hide=Most current official map] Changes to map: -Shaded Iran (Aether) darker -Added a Britannian flag to an island in the Atlantic -Shaded China to show that the Kingdom of Jerusalem owned it[/hide] Updated map. We seriously need to find a way to divide the same map into different parts. It's hard when you try looking at the entire map because of the scrollbar. The scrollbar doesn't even show up when someone quotes the image in the hide tag... And congratulations on gaining China, KOJ. You should now probably rename your country to "The Holy Empire of Jerusalem" or something to that effect. I believe that you now have the world's largest population. You also might want to expand and fill up the rest of the Arabian Peninsula, as well as gaining more land in Asia.

(Kingdom of Jerusalem) Here's LatinoKing's flag icon. I'm about to reset my hard drive because my damn OS got corrupted, so I'll end up losing the image. I'll go ahead and update the map as much as possible before I do that.

Okay, so the Eastern one is mine, right? I knew that there were some small islands North of the UK mainland that belonged to it, so I was confused when suddenly both of the ones that were shaded my colour when I took command of the United Kingdom turned into Iran's colour. Here's correct version, with the KOJ's flag [hide=][/hide] Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm pretty sure the two little islands above the UK mainland belonged to Britannia.

I am only not concerned about who owns the Arctic isles because it already has a low population, if any. My main concern would be controlling mainland British Canada (including Nova Scotia and Newfoundland). Alaska isn't something that I can't live without, so I'll give Walka a chance to claim Alaska if he wants it, but nothing past that. If he doesn't want it, I'll go ahead and annex it into British Canada. We could work out some official treaty, but I won't budge on the land that I've already claimed. I've also thought about forming some sort of North American Union that establishes peace between the nations involved and calls for free trade and humanitarian aid. I think it's a good idea, but I'm not sure if anyone wants it or not. I'm going to go ahead and upload the map that shows the 4-party claim to northern North America. If we make an agreement on something later, I can make any necessary adjustments (although I think the map will stay basically the same). Pale Golden Yellow please. All right. Ross, is it OK if I just label the country on the map as "Aether" and just put "Kingdom of Aether" on the map key? You can change your country name at any time by the way. It isn't much editing. And I'm pretty safe saying that the Brazilian Empire gets Quebec, T4R gets the arctic isles, the Russian Empire gets Alaska, and the Britannian Empire gets Canada?
