  1. Glad you figured it out! Can't help you with the blending question, still figuring that out myself.
  2. Fixed.
  3. Heh, PS doesn't do it that way (VERY annoying to new users, pain to figure out) either use the Ctrl+ keys or use the Edit menu up top. (Next to File). EDIT: Oh... I see what you are talking about. Hit Ctrl+A It will copy everything. THEN Cut/copy.
  4. AS a sig/picture point of few I don't really like it. But when veiwing the stock and the new image in comparison, yours is fabulous.
  5. Okay to upload the image (I am using elements, it should be semi-familier to this). Go to File>Save for web> Select your file type> save/ok button. Then upload it. And the armhole thing should be explain partially with the semi-tut I made.
  6. Ya, photoshop is confusing. Holdon, I will try to help. Though I think xvill's screens are going to help more, meh. EDIT: Here we go. 1. Create a new image (preferably 800x600 or the size of your background picture). 2. Load the background image on to the blank canvas. 3. Create another new image 4. Load the person/thing you want to put infront of your background onto this new image. 5. Okay, it should have some stuff that you dont want (IE. you want the person, not the bushes/trees/benches/etc around him). 6. Okay, you are now going to erase eveything you don't want. You will want to use this tool: 6b. Select this: Use whatever brush size you feel is neccesary. 6c. Now, go to your picture with the person/chair/whatever you are trying to put ontop/infront of the background. 6d. Move your curser over the the part of the image you don't want. Right click and hold it down. Drag it around selecting what you don't want. Notice I have almost everything that I don't want (I want the person) selected. 7. Once its all selected it should look like this: Notice that I was not very careful selecting him. I did not get some of his tux and some of his hair, I am rushing this if you are careful it won't look like this. 7c. One last thing, hit Invert (Ctrl+Shift+I). 8. We are now ready to put him on your background image! 8b. Copy (Ctrl+C) or Cut (Ctrl+X). You now have him either cut or copied. 8c. Switch images (go from your person/chair/thing you selected to your background image). 9. Hit paste (Ctrl+V). 10. Your image should now look like this: 11. Save and you are done! Though it seems a extremly long process, it really is not. I tried to make even the excrutiatingly obvious a step. And yes, PS is complecated. Hope it helps!
  7. Ok, was quite good brushing practice. Anyways, here it is. I think I did quite good brushing/smudging on the part that seems to be radiating off the tomato. The upper left is to fuzzy and to much of blur. How should I fix this? (*Is hoping Cad --The smudging master-- will answer this one*) Also, what font is that little white one people often stroke with black that is normaly a subquote/quote? EDIT: Now that I look at it, on the left side... eww. How do I get rid of that low quality feel?
  8. Better IMO, I like the darkness.
  9. H. O. L. Y. Crap. How the heck did you do that, or more importantly, how did you figure out how to make the code TO do that?
  10. So true
  11. No problem. :)
  12. Sure, holdon. EDIT: Done Is GIF though, sorry. Can't make it under 30kb in aanother format. EDIT2:
  13. Not to disheartin you or anything, but ya, I do like it better. :?

  15. Will have to go wih the crowd and say that the first one is great. Other ones are medicore at best, sorry. :|
  16. If you are able to make enough detail, keep the guy in the position and make a faint tear. IMO, that would be neat.
  17. rofl and i have the linkie to proove you did rip.. http://atom.smasher.org/error/ take note of the hammer icon two across and three down from the top right. heres one i made just for you... Whoa... I sure hope this isn't true, cause Metroid = pwnage IMO. :|

Fairly sure it means giving him the ablity to move, like making certain points bendable. IE telling the computer his elbow can bend at this point.
  20. Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box Just finished Nirvana - Half the Man I Used to Be (Owns)
  21. Sorry I cannot help you with this, not my forte. If you really are thinking about buying your brother a computer, I just wanted to say this: Good Job! I have seen very little evidence for generosity on this forum (I said "seen", that does not mean there isn't any) and this is wonderful. Probably the ONLY time I will ever use this smiley (frankly it looks stupid) but,
  22. Breaking Benjamins - So Cold
  23. Very, very true. When you find a glitch or easter egg in any game its a great feeling. I mean glitch or easter egg though, not a AR or Gameshark. IMO it doesn't give the sense of accomplishment.
  24. I'm fairly certain the transfer glitch still exists though. Haven't tried it out on 3rd and 4th gen, but it would suprise me if they somehow fixed that. I don't see why they wouldn't fix it though, I mean it was a pretty popular and well known glitch. It seems likely that the creators would have gotten wind of it and stopped it. I partially think thats why they introduced the new box system. Gosh I need to play it again. Silver has so many memorees. :
