I thought everyone had realised this by now... Jagex has made clear their intentions to stick with RS2 multiple times! It has been confirmed by Jagex that Jagex is working on a new undisclosed game. Although no official information has been released about this as of yet it is said to be another RPG unrelated to runescape.

Hey great to see so many people responding to my thread. :D Wow great ideas guys and girls! I especially like the idea of Patience and yodeling!! =D> But seriously, I think Necromancy/summoning, would be cool, whether its a new skill or just a new bracnh of magics. Also Piracy would be really really cool. Next, although it sounds kinda dumb, I like Kung foo :D The combat system really needs a serious update where you can do some special attacks, not just with your weapon. or maybe it could just be a new dimension to the agility skill. I think your on to something expert1212 (by the way, Nice masor drop party the other day) All in all, I think Jagex can wait a few months before a new skill is needed anyways, but its always fun to dream.

As far as I know, since the release of Runescape 2, There have been three new skills introduced; slayer, farming, and construction. Basically, Im just wondering what you guys think would be a good new skill for Jagex to introduce to runescape? Im thinking maybe mechanics, landscaping, orchemist, but I honestly dont like those ideas. Anyways, post your thoughts

Ok once you become a required level to kill a slayer monster, such as mogres, harpie, bug swarms, abby demons, ect do you still get slayer xp as well as combat xp if you do not have the monster for a slayer assignment? ex- if you finnally reach 85 slayer, can u go and kill abby demons withouguht having them assigned from a slayer master and still get slayer xp?

The black hole no longer exists, and even if Jagex wouldnt have done away with it, it would only exist in runescape classic, which has no free teleport, and even if it did exist in runescape 2, jagex would have disabled the free tele in the black hole, and even if jagex would have forgotten to disable the free tele in the black hole, none of the players would be around to try it :D Still your number 1 fan greg :D

I agree 100%. The interface was definitely a large change, but people did give it really any chance. I got used to it within a couple days, and was quite annoyed when they changed the run button and the stats screen back. The yellow became a blinding annoyance because I had gotten used to the dark orange, and I had to get used to a new run button yet again. But it was a good update, despite the mass amounts of people complaining. Add me on to the agree list. I also agree with pokemama in the sense that Jagex has no intentions of Releasing runescape 3 as a whole new game like they did in 04. I think rs2 will continually improve as it always has. Great article editor. Looking forward to next weekend already :D

When Ramstain used to have his rune shop open I would do this. Just hop worlds and buy all the runes in the fally rune emporium, and sell them for twice as much. :D

I think your on to something here. Cooking is definately a skill of its own. Why else do you think so many players have 99? (I guess its also because its the easiest xp in the game :XD:) I think the cooking guild definately needs a makeover, and the skill itself could use some updates as well. Exact same for me :D The only time I have gone into the cooking guild since I hit the required level was to get a chocolate bar for a quest!
