Problem with my computer

My computer sucks. It just plain out sucks. And I'm not going to get a new computer anytime soon... It has 64 MB of RAM and is a Pentium II Processor with Windows 98. I can't play RuneScape at all because it just kicks out. A few times it had blue screens. I took every precaution including using a folder, closing every task (Including my anti-virus), and it is 90% free right? Then I load RuneScape and it's so laggy it just kicks out. Does anyone have any helpful ideas that can help me with my problem. Remember I don't have the money to get a new one so I'm stuck with the one I have now for another few years.. So what should I do?

I don't understand what you mean when you say you don't have any money but you need a better computer. You don't really have any other choice other then not play runescape. If you really want a new computer then you should get a job and not try to get something for nothing. Another thing you could do is just save money and buy a cheap one, here are a few http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ategory=10

You're pretty much stuck. Sometimes there just isn't a way to get the application you want to run on a relic.

Back when I played runescape and it didn't have 3D models I barely ran it on a 166, if I tried to do anything else (including rapidly moving the mouse) it became unplayable.

So, I say you're out of luck. There comes a time when there is no option but to upgrade.

P.S. - I have yet to see developers/publishers publish accurate minimum specs for ANY game.

Minimum requirements usually mean that the game will just start-up, but that doesn't mean you will be able to play it :wall: .
