you can constantly go round, as they respawn in time. you just have to have the determination of that, clik.... walk.. click... walk.... for ages

Another way and the way I use is killing the slimes in the Lumby caves. I think it is more advanced as it requires a light source and some anti-poisons , Supers preferred. Less moving around, gain combat xp and the occasional good drop such as gems, gold bars and lvl 1 clues.

Do Cave Slimes. Much faster and less boring than running around.

cave slimes, just dont have an open flame and have some antipoisons

And yes, this is the best way to gather tar... they drop it 100% between 1 and 5 pieces.
