what would be something good to merchant with only 200k? I'm trying to save up around 800k as fast as possible and ive heard good things about merchanting, but i've never merchanted before.

I raised from 300k to 1 mil in about 2 days off rune essence... It can take quite long at times though, finding someone to sell for less than 30 each. But selling back for 40 each is pretty easy... so you might try that....

You could also buy coal for less than 120gp and sell them for over 150gp.

Yeah, it isn't uncommon to see people in fally selling at that price. Not a bad route to go either.

Well, one of the best methods I have found is this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Set up your inventory with about 50k-100k cash, sets of Varrock teleports, and Falador teleports. Teleport to Falador, and walk down to the Port Sarim runes shop. Trade Betty, and buy up all the fires, airs, (Earths and waters can be harder to sell but will make a profit.), and maybe minds. Do this until the cost reaches 10-11 each, as that will stop it from being cost-effective. When this happens, world hop and repeat the process. When you have run out of money, you should have a sizeable collection of runes to sell. Teleport to Varrock, and go near the entrance of the bank. Hop to world 1, and sell all the runes. Airs go for 15-20 each, fires 15-20 each, earths and waters usually 15 each, minds 15-20 each. When you sell them, you should make a 100-200k profit. Repeat this entire process, maybe bringing more money with you this time. My younger brother used this method to get full Guthix in less than a week (F2P), with only an hour to hour and a half of playing a day.

well im trying to save up quite a bit of cash (full black mystic, get my d scimmy back, full rune armor for melee training, and when i get my stats up, full guthans and perhaps a whip) so i might be merchanting for quite a bit if i dont get bored that fast.

what i do is buying steel bars for 500gp each and selling it people at world 1 for 600 gp and sometime more

Get key in room to make for easier access (ask someone if you're not sure) to the Hill giant areas. Then Kill Hill Giants for "limp wurt roots" or pick up what other players drop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just go to one of the busier worlds and wait until you hear someone offering 500 or more for em. Big money with the bonus of getting combat skills as well.

Now go to Edgeville Bank and sell em for 250gp each.

 

 

 

Only sell in 100's to PKers. Find a good spot in bank and shout something like this.....
