me and my mate are doing dt together, what do we need?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We know we need:

 

 

 

Food

 

 

 

Pots

 

 

 

Good armour

 

 

 

Good Weapons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That is all covered, but what else do we need?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also, how many pots and food?

 

 

 

Will we need many p pots or restore pots?

When I did it, I only needed about 30 Tuna/Sweetcorn Potatoes (22hp) and maybe 2 prayer pots at most per person. Me and a friend made 80 potatoes and we had 50 left over for him to use when he went for it. I was level 85 at the time...

I personally found it easy after I obtained the shadow gem. Once I realized everyone made it sound much more difficult than it really was, I had no problem. For the smoke and blood diamond I needed no pots at all, and for Kamil, I only needed 2 prayer pots, and I took 3 regular restore pots and didn't even use them all.

For the shadow diamond, I suggest you use full monk robes and the rest the best mage bonus you have at your bank at the moment. His second form drains prayer extremely fast, but if you use earth spells (wave prefered, but blast or bolt with gauntlets will do to) together with your best bind spell, you'll have no problem at all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the ones who use both magic and melee, I suggest you to wear your best mage bonus and pray melee. I first had problems with the ice diamonds because I tried to semi tank him with ahrim top and melee armour. That's not suggested! That's the only one I had problems with and I even almost died!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another tip; be aware of the lvl 99 stranger which sometimes appear when you have any diamond in your inventory, he didn't appear to me, but I guess he can cause some serious problems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And by the way, it isn't very hard, most people make it sound harder then it is. Besides the ice diamond I all found it very easy.
