well i have about 6.3m atm and i was wondering how long it will take to get 22m for santa? i play a few hours every weekdays and most of the day on weekends, hope you can help me.

So 80k coal, if you can get 1k coal a day, about 80 days.

You already said you can get 340 Coal an hour... You need 70 000 Coal to get the 14M needed... 70 000/340 = 205 hours...

Edit: You also need to account for the increase in speed when you mine, the running rate to and fro the cart, the random events, the rate of where you just stand still doing nothing...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its like asking how long will it take to catch 1 000 000 lobsters at level 45... You'll get 99 fishing in the process, so its practically impossible to get an accurate idea.

or you could mine coal till lvl 84 mining and then stout rune, may take a while shorter.

Well, seeing how your mining level is not posted it is hard to say.. But from reading your posts I noticed you are a member. There are many more methods to make money, that are much more effective. If you are determined to make the cash by mining coal though, then I suggest posting your mining level. Either way, if you roughly get 2k coal per day you can easily have that santa hat in 1.5 months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most coal I've ever mined in one sitting was 20k, and that was in the mining guild on F2P. I know from experience it gets boring, and seems like it will take forever, but with determination you can accomplish it.

Gold ores. You can mine one, sell for 550-600, wham, 1 ore can sell for 3 coal if you need coal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience. Gold mines nearly as fast as coal, for me anyway, and I'd rather spend 1 hour mining gold, than 3 hours mining coal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Smithing exp. Coal needs another ore, and so much goes to waste for a small amount of exp. Gold, with gauntlets, quick 56.5exp an ore.
