Yup, they're finally together (assuming this isn't an early April Fool's joke).

I can see this game turning out on either extreme. Really terrible or really good. It's hard to imagine we're finally seeing the day where Sonic and Mario face head to head though. Who knows, this could mean good things for Super Smash Dojo too.

Is it supposed to be like just some random sports party game? Kind of looks like a way to just make some cash off the characters but i'll hold out until I see the game.

If you guys read the interview on IGN, it says that Sega was in charge of making an official 2008 Beijing Olympics game. Then they decided to askl Nintendo to have Mario in it, and they agreed it was a good idea. This game is just a spinoff of the real Olympics game that is in development, which would be for older audiences.

like i said sonic wins all running races and mario wins all jumping events (sonic wins swimming cause he can run on water) :P
