April 5, 200719 yr i think you kinda sped through drawing them, they don't look to cleanly drawn and have mistakes. But your probably going to fix that when you are painting over them. Yes, its just a rough sketch so i can at least keep proportions and such. i just got references from Google, and I'm looking at them as i shade/paint. i really need to fix cobains eyes/lips though.. arrgh.

April 6, 200719 yr looks good i would like to see it done i recently picked up painting myself since i dont have money for canvas i am currently using accrilic on old-t shirt stretched over a frame lol At the moment i can't really see the full form of the muffin.

I use to do alot of oil paint, but i cant stand how long it takes to dry, and i like the way blending works with acrylic better...

I see which picture of bob marley you are working from, good luck making his hair look dreadlock-like. 28x12in. i have another canvas made in school thats 34 or 32 by 12, im probably going to do another set of people if this one turns out nice.

April 8, 200719 yr Could you post refs? ;P Also, if you want the lips to look more protuding and curved, you'll need to define the light better and use lots of contrast to define certain parts ;@

April 13, 200719 yr Author good job on bob lol rhyme like how you shaded the face one question where do you buy your canvases i cant seem to find any affordable ones we'll im in art class in school, so i get as much free canvas as i can use pretty much... but my teacher orders hers from...http://www.utrechtart.com/ you can also buy canvas pad which is A LOT cheaper that premade stretch canvas, or even stretcher bars, gesso, and cotton canvas. its not as good for work if ur looking to sell it, but people would still buy if you get it framed.
