just wondering...i really want to wear the green dhide, and ive been meaning to get my ranging up for a long time. So, suggestions? (btw...i already have a willow longbow and a very short supply of some bronze and iron arrows...i also kind of want a way that wouldn't be too expensive, ya know?)

You'll have to buy your arrows, since you're f2p, but try dark wizards south of varrock. They wear robes, thus putting you at an advantage in the combat triangle. And minotaurs (lvl 1 security stronghold) drop iron arrows in decent quantities, meaning for a longer stay.

 

 

 

I got 40 ranged in f2p ranging wizards.

In barbarian village, in the longhall of whatever it is called :shock:

 

 

 

Range them from behind tables.

thanks for the help..since i already have 45 defence, ill probably go with the dark wizards or minotaurs, but about how many arrows should i buy?

Buy a couple of hundreds (300+)

Minotours are definitely the best way to go. They are in the Stronghold of Security first floor. Make sure you look for the lvl 12 ones, because there are safespots there. Also, if you go there, you might only need around 50 arrows to start, because they will constantly increase the amount of arrows you have.

just a question...but i had really low health to begin with at the dark wizards, and then even when i had full basic ranging gear on, (and i have 45 defence, and 44 magic), they kept getting 3's and 6's on me..whats the deal?
